FixedFloat, ChangeNOW, Changelly, and many other swap services lure users with low fees, only to "freeze" assets via impossible KYC demands. These platforms function as surveillance honeypots, sharing private transaction data with authorities and trackers.Be cautious.

Better safe than sorry Smiley

yeah, with fixedfloat i've had good experience overall except one incident where they locked $100 worth of ETH, for AML issues with it. the eth was sent out from a mixer and it has been probably flagged linked to some bs, they demanded source of funds, i provided them that and they just said that they couldn't get it back.

bummer, but FF is a good service.

on the other hand, changenow is really good. they have great support, no delays, good fees, and never had a problem with them

Ragebait? Changenow? good fees? Literally sageswap which is way better when it comes to kyc or aml, have better rate at 1 bitcoin > monero lmfao

sageswap 1 bitcoin > 192.50 monero

changenow 1 bitcoin > 192.46 monero

sure, but we're not penny pinching over $10 here lol

We actually are, if you compare sageswap to changenow, sageswap is probably the best thing they ever made, and they are not even top 5 instant swaps overall

Why people do fraud?

yeah and that's probably the thing.

Sageswap is a pretty new exchange thats why theres not much trust and traction going on there but i'd say its a good concept and looks like a good service

Hey,

Was kinda skeptical about these new sites popping up ever since exch.cx i've never had any kind of trust to other websites .

I'm looking for a  website that has high limits (above 1 BTC each transaction) BTC -> XMR and ZERO kyc. Ever. Or refund if kyc initiated.

Bonus point if they have escrow deposit on here. Grin

We do exactly that please check out our announcement thread or DM us directly.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5585981.0

Is this going to be one of those posts where you come back a few days later to edit this post saying you have found one and then go on to link to some shady phishing site?

If you are actually being serious, there are several options. b1exch and SageSwap have a good reputation on the forum, but I would not recommend swapping 1 whole BTC at once. You might have to pay more fees by doing more swaps, but it reduces the risk of losing all your funds if the exchange became malicious. It can also help reduce your price impact by spreading out your swaps into smaller orders and with enough time in between them.

^I came here to say exactly this.

No matter which exchange you choose to use, do not swap an entire Bitcoin at once. That is a recipe for disaster. There can always be something that can go wrong: maybe the swap service is/has turned scam, maybe you choose the wrong swap or maybe the liquidity is low and you are not forewarned that swapping could cause you to trade for a much lower amount of coins than you were expecting in return for your whole Bitcoin. Swap in small increments.

Always triple and quadruple check.

Is this a new method of shady promotion they use? Someone else also said this.

Meanwhile, Op if you are serious, you can try the one I promote (DEX.fo). I have swapped with them and it worked really well but my swaps were very small compared to 1 BTC.

Meanwhile, as others advised above, consider batch transaction even if you want to use the exchange created by yourself.

it's not amigo idk why you would think that, but DEXfo looks good although  i'm not sure why the fast option isn't available for any position
Their fast option isn't available, but the chain option works very well. While the chain option uses other liquidity pools for transaction bridges, their fast chain uses only their exchange reserve.

I can say it's lack of internal liquidity, but this is not representing the exchange's stand on the issue. For several times I used the exchange, I had used the chain mode because my transactions were not hasty.

bummer, but FF is a good service.
Until they have become not. I have seen a lot of complains about them making excuses that the funds of their customer were not clean and part of some illegal service or you have to explain it to them on how you've got it aside from the kyc. Luckily for me, I have not encountered that to them but I won't wait for it to happen to me so I have to stop using them upon reading those experiences.

yeah, ff tends to be gay as hell with their stupid little interrogations they perform while keeping your money hostage, no bueno.

if your coins are clean then you don't really need to worry about it but still you have to split the transaction in a few swaps, like others have said in this thread.

Definitely wouldn't trust ff with large amounts at once, although i know people who have did 6 figures+ with clean coins and it went thru smoothly, so they tend to be picky if your coins are aml flagged, gotta go somewhere else to prevent any inconvieniences with them
I agree of splitting your money in different swaps and there's a lot of them lately which are backed by the community. Even with a couple of bucks, I won't trust them anymore. You'll never know when they'll start asking questions while the others seem to have no problem with theirs, we don't know if by the time we do it, that could be us no one knows. I guess that most of us are still in that journey of finding the best one and it's on the timing that there have been new options and competitors.
