Making Legendary is a little harder to do than when I started my forum journey but still achievable. Merits weren't a  thing for me and by the time they were, I was already at the top rank here. I'm not a follower of your forum activity so I cannot really speak for your character but I will say congrats for reaching legendary and staying red tag free.

Yes, getting to legendary is achievable and not hard the way many people are thinking, but you are right that it was harder than before. DdmrDdmr is no more active like before which many newbies here will not benefit from.

Some users that were airdropped the merits and smerits remain newbie legendaries. All I that is very important is your contributions and you will enjoy the forum.

I know because I have joined the forum after implementation of merit system, and realized how hard it is to achieve a legendary rank from zero. Although merit wasn't a fact for me since the community helped me always, I spend a lot of time here to learn and contribute to the forum as well.

However, you have proven it's possible to achieve even that which is hard. I often saw newbies blame the merit system on the forum, but they don't like to learn and contribute. They also don't notice how other users earn merits through their contributions. You are one of the examples. Good luck to you.

Well.. I’m quite reserved and a bit open[mixed] but I can be so annoying at-times  .
Just regular poster like others, the small difference is that I can write  code(not that  much when I joined).
The forum actually gave me a lot of curiosity.. which is helping with an overall journey beyond forum.

I registered August 2023..and this is 2026 July approx 3year with few days short, I don’t think that’s short.
Fun fact, I gave up at some point while trying to rank up to Full member, I was stucked at 17~30merits for months.

I can feel the excitement. You are probably too happy and excited about your rank-up. I am also too close to the next rank, but I am not in a rush. I am just waiting for my day to come with average growth. I have been around for almost 9 years and have yet to be a Legendary member. LOL. I hope I will be a Legendary one day and feel the same excitement. However, I plan not to create a thread. I think I have poked a lot of my local community members for doing this. So, I need to follow my own standards.

That being said legendary was less stressing for you since activity was on your side unlike when I was busy waiting to get the required numbers but sadly and happily I won't be going through that no more.

I think having more merit than activity is less stressful imo.. all you have to do is wait number of day for the activity to perform its magic  .

I got a big push from the Merit Automation thread in just one month.. otherwise, I will still be probably around 800 merits.

Initially I only wanted to create the script and give it to Vapouminer without opening any thread but then I think he forgot to get back to me after our first conversation[i remembered he mentioned being busy] and I don’t want my messages to become a spam.  So , I just created a thread and sent him the link for ease follow up, not knowing it will eventually get me that much merits .

I’m sure you can’t really relate .. that the last 300 merits to legendary is always hard to get for a lot of members

After the legendary rank what's next I guess??? Probably up to you lol..

Yet to decide.. but I still need to continue earning merits.

Yeah I’m so excited to have that have half moon purple coin.. I would have preferred green but I think that’s meant for Donator or mod (fogotten), too broke to be a Donator anyway .

I do have a weird request to allow legendary members to customize  the half or full color of last coin to any color though except reserved colors .. what do you think Shishir
