I would not say that it is scripted, but I could say that it is corrupted. I mean just the fact that USA player who got red card ended up not being punished for it is a proof enough that is very valid and leaves no comments to it.

I mean if you see other games and some questionable referee decisions, those are subjective and not clear, but on a red card not being a one match ban? In this scenario, what more confirmations do you need to believe that this is really what it is and no more a speculation. How will the president of a country call the FIFA president about a player that was red carded from his country, was he suppose to act in that manner as the president of the country in which the tournament was hosted? I hate to see how Trump can influence decisions and make precedents happen like this... I know that this is all unfair and should never happen that any political actor can call Infantino via mobile and have them change referee decisions. It is scripted. I am asking you a question: which of the top four teams do you think can play the semi-finals? Do you even think the USA is in this top four? I don't think you do. But would you be surprised to see them play in the semi-finals? Personally, I won't be surprised after seeing this incident. This is totally bullshit. I just saw a clip on YouTube from a news channel where Ted Cruz is thanking Trump for getting rid of the "ridiculous red card" from one of their players. The atmosphere in that clip seems like they were just joking around, but who knows?
