I think you have actually mixed up Messi incidence, the foul was in the first game against Algeria where he was shown to have committed that foul and not Cani Verde except maybe there is an incidence there too that hasn’t been reported most in the media.

As long as politics finds it way into the football space, we are going to continue seeing interference of different kinds that is all centered at favoring certain individual that are supposedly big players like Trump. even with that, footballing cheats don't last for long because the most you can do is to allow certain player play even when the role does not agree with that but when it comes to the performance of the player, there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. The united states have been humiliated out of the world cup and this can never be tagged as a script. Ronaldo is out also and we can not dare call that a script. at that end, there might be some instances where we fault FIFA or the host nation but overall, this has been a fair and an interesting world cup so far. the fact that some of the result is already breaking some people down is also an indication that there is nothing scripted about what we are witnessing now.

Trump may be good at running a country, but as a person I don't like him at all, too arrogant too offensive.
I don't understand how Americans voted for someone like that, everywhere Trump puts his mouth there is inconvenience, now even in football, he basically didn't do anything illegal or that compromised the match, bordering on the rules, the point is to know what all this is for?

I don't know what football you're referring to, whether it's World Cup or club or lower league matches, but I assure you that in some areas football is rigged, especially in the sports betting section.
A few years ago, the "calciopoli" scandal broke in Italy, where some players were directly interested in this way of making money (as if they already didn't have enough).

The idiots who allowed politicians to decide who gets a red card and who doesn't should get out of their shit pile now. Football stopped being football a long time ago, and after this World Cup, I hope that many will understand that this circus should be boycotted as much as possible.

Sensors that detect a hair and therefore invalidate key goals, red cards that are invalidated, extremely dirty and rough play that is not punished with yellow cards, VAR that is activated only when it suits "them"...
