[POLL] What sections of the forum do you think need to be cleaned up?

And also I need more votes. This isn't a statistically significant enough crossmeasure yet, because, its probably not according to x out of 10 scientists.

what did you mean by "cleaning"? how we can define a comment/post that must be deleted?
what if an user was posting good contents and turns to no-brainer posts?
Ok. There are entire sections filtered with spams. Others are fullfilled with non-sense posts. Moreover there is the reign of signature spam - useless and endless comments. Anyway I would find something questionable to decide what is or what is not a legit comment...

i voted gambling.

it is fairly repetitive on a very consistent basis.

but bitcoin talk is a very mature forum so repetition is going to happen a lot.

also gambling be definition is a very repetitive thing to be doing so repetition would be certain to occur no matter how hard we work to stop it .

My vote goes to Economics, but not to Speculation. Speculation is okay as it is.

But Economics is full of off topic posts. I interpret this forum as intendend originally for Economics topics which are in some way related to Bitcoin, or at least to cryptocurrencies. But most topics are about being rich or poor, about greed and getting wealthy, about country X which did thing Y, and so on, things completely unrelated to Bitcoin.

It may be also a good idea to clarify what this subforum is about. At least it should be given a subtitle, like to the other subforums. Something like "How Bitcoin relates to the economy" or "Markets, theories and how Bitcoin fits in."

I am sure that anyone who's been active on the gambling section will agree that so many posts and threads are very useless and repetitive on a daily basis; at the same time, we should also see the reason behind this, which is obviously the signature campaigns that are requiring the participants to post there with a higher minimum quota compared to other allowed sections. I started some threads myself there to collect some information, and I could easily see that most replies are useless and out of the main subject of my thread.

My second vote will go to the Announcements (Altcoins) section, and this is the section where most new users or multi-accounts are using to promote their shitty or scam projects, and it also requires a bigger effort to clean most of the posts.

I like to discuss sports and it is great having an ongoing conversation with others who want to regularly discuss the same topics.  It is literally not an issue for anyone except those who are mad others are getting paid to post about something they enjoy.  Weak male behavior.

An actual section that would benefit from being cleaned up is the Computer hardware section.  It is so full of obvious scams that I rarely see any deals actually be completed anymore.  For a forum full of "scam busters" that go around harassing anyone trying to build anything with an actual a use case for Bitcoin, it is odd that a section full of scams seems to get a pass.

Sports threads in gambling are ok. Others not much, as they are often repititive.

These boards contain a large amount of unnecessary posts, and in particular, there are many related threads in which the same related posts are being made repeatedly.
