In the matrix (or the world's system), the so called evolution is part of their way of survival and progress. Evolution in their own meaning is simply changing/transformating from primitive to advanced state, or lower to higher state, to survive current or future reality. Otherwise the change does not qualify as evolution, a better name for something opposite would be de-evolution

According to them it started with choas, then everything gradually form into their own order. The choas is the primitive while the order becomes the high state.
And in order to survive their harsh or unpredictable world they have to keep evolving. In that kind of evolution there is little to no rule. It's highly competitive, with the strong, rich, etc defeating the weak, poor etc to make it to the next stage of evolution. Those who do not make it either perish or are left behind to perish .
By the way, the world system already has its own evolution road map that everyone is meant to follow else he is destroyed or isolated
Unfortunately the road map is a trap that leads to the "underworld". And it gradually hand over control to ruler of the under world until those who follow it are completely enslaved.



But the real reason they have to keep "evolving" is  to survive the lawlessness and instability they caused.  The next stage of the evolution becomes more lawless instead, but with advanced tech or system to impose their own order and keep things artificially "stable."

So, are you going to resist the evolution and perish, or join an alternate system where the right rules are followed, and things are more certain/stable,  and no need to evolve.. You only grow as you do the right things
