Indeed. The early days were the best. Developers focused on utility, instead of the profits. Now it's all hype. Not only that, but scams have increased as a result of crypto's popularity. These days, regulators have taken over crypto land by storm. There's KYC all over the place, and so many other restrictions that limit crypto's true potential.

The ICO era of 2017, brought many innovative projects to the industry. Too bad that regulators messed that one up too. Because of the extreme hype surrounding altcoins, we've missed the true essence of crypto. Altcoin season has been long overdue. The question is: Will it make a comeback? Only time will tell...

Look, the past and the present are not the same, there is a huge difference between them. In the past, people were honest and believed in both Altcoin and Bitcoin. In the meantime, people used to invest in meme coins and got good returns, but now people are gradually losing confidence due to fraud.
They are no longer interested in investing in meme coins, because meme coins are constantly being created and destroyed in the market. People's money is being embezzled, as a result, now people have lost faith in meme coins, the meme coin market has completely disappeared.

I think you can still get some of these tokens that can give you scuff vibes in Solana chain dexscrreener, traders other to trade on day old tokens, weeks and so on, you can get coins with less than 100MC and you can make money if you can monitor the market really well.

To save yourself all these stress, you Only need to buy and hold Bitcoin to avoid everything that will temper with your emotions, if you really have the intention of making good money in crypto space in the future, fave Bitcoin investment and avoid shit coins, they don’t last long.

To develop something new which is going to maintain a long term value like some other good altcoins, I think that developers needs to think outside the box before come up with something that is kind of different every other members coins or shit coins that has been developed before now and died within a the shortest period of time. If any common idea is replicated, it won't even still give rise to a coins or token that will not die at the end.

This sounds nice to hear, but the truth is that developing an altcoin that has potential as you said requires alot of efforts and commitment, most of the forum members are nit that technically inclined to think extent of developing such coins and again to have success in altcoin there must be an existing ecosystem to support the coin liquidity wise, so if I ask which ecosystem is existing that can support the coin about to get developed by forum members?
The reason why memecoins are nothing but just hype, pump and dump schemes is because of the lack of a workable ecosystem to support their drive in the market.

I don’t really know maybe we can experience that kind of era again. Crypto was still new during that era, and most of the projects which you going to see during that era we’re really projects, and not all the scam projects which we having in the crypto space now.

Now we have lots of projects entering the market on a daily basis, but most of them are just scam projects, they are just pump and dump projects that’s why you won’t blame people that are not holding for long period of time before they sell off, they just want to take advantage because they know it’s going to be dump soon. Scam projects entering the market is just making it difficult to figure out the real projects.

What is your idea exactly?
It is interesting that someone really wants to improve the altcoin performance. However, IMO it is quite doubtful that there is a way to bring back the best era of all altcoins. I just guess that you want us to make a new altcoin project. But honestly I doubt it can be successful if it won't have real usecase and have no real products. Moreover if the concept will be similar as the existing altcoin projects, it will be another useless altcoin project.   

But Ive got a few good ideas in the works, soon as I finalize it and get the white paper done ill post it here.

The altcoin space us full of greedy people, nobody want to launch something good again and even the investors are tired. From 2018 to now, there is no single altcoin that have stay at the top of their price till now and have maintained the price, all are failure upon failure. If you are the same person that has loss money and never made money, are you going to invest money on altcoins again, I guess you will be exhausted by now.

There is this thing they also call airdrop that has kill the Altcoin ecosystem, people don't want to use their money to buy and investment in coins again, they rather wait around and beg them for free coins and the team are also known for this dishonesty, they hide around with wallets to take everything from the team and take away all they have, I do feel ashamed of some developers on how they behave with this greed.

I believe that's a bygone error that is not going to return- ruined by greed, scam, and hype.  So many got separated from their BTC and ETH and left holding a bag, if not bags, or worthless altcoins/tokens.  Perhaps an altcoin with technology and functionality like no other altcoin ever could facilitate such a return; however, I don't and can't see it returning to how it was or used to be.

As far as the bull run isn't yet over alt season will surely come back, the right time to invest in altcoins is when the market is on decline so that as soon as the market starts recovering you will be in profits and you can sell your assets at that time, so that wise investors or traders won't use you as an exit liquidity. So now that the market is on bearish state, if you have altcoins in mind that you wish to invest on you can start DCAing and position yourself, but always use the money you can afford to lose as altcoins are highly volatile, and you could lose your money within a minute if your invest goes south.

No doubt it will happen since for sure market will not move in sideways. There's always good time for other alts to pump. But the hardest situation is to know on when this event will able to happen.

Many people talk about possible occurrence, but lots of people which speculate fails because for long time altcoin market didn't show that impressive movement. But let see if great times will came on alts in future. So if they believe on their alts, better start to accumulate rather than keep waiting then didn't do anything. Because they might lose some good opportunity if they just decide to start buying when altcoin market stop pumping. Chances that they might not get any good result, since maybe they might just caught up by FOMO.

We need to keep this under consideration that not every alt has the ability to go up in price in the long run but the top alts only. Do not chose some random alts for investment just because they are down in price. I am of the view that top 10 alts listed on CMC are a good choice for investment. One more thing is that alts go up in price only if there is improvement in price of Bitcoin. That is why its better to invest major portion of your capital into Bitcoin, while only a small portion should go towards alts.

I think most of the ideas have been outside the box and that's what they have been thinking. Despite that, the ideas that come up have been the same and recycled. And that's why we see no new ideas come up with the new altcoins and they're just the same again and again. The devs think that it will be likened by the mass of investors but it's not when they have been reinventing and copying the same projects in the past.
