It be really hard to get back the 2013 era in Altcoins to be honest, that era was like that because it was entirely a new innovation, and devs were building real projects that centered on use cases, not the what we are seeing now. The project owners were more sincere and honest back then in developing real projects. And investors were not disappointed that much. They were investing and were seeing results.
But today investors have seen a lot from many failed projects, failed promises upon promises. Now investors are scared and extremely careful to part ways with their money. Investors don’t know which project is real anymore. And this will make it difficult for such an era to return again.
It was indeed a beautiful time, though I missed out on the news. I only found out about it in mid-2017, so I wasn't too far behind. It was certainly an interesting era, especially for those who jumped in with significant capital. Yes. Nowadays, so many platforms emerge with various forms—whether coins or tokens they’ve created only for the majority to die out or be abandoned. Very few manage to survive, and even that depends on whether the team has a genuine intention to develop the project. Otherwise, it’s the usual story: one dies, a thousand more are churned out. If other people’s losses are irrelevant as long as the creators line their own pockets, that’s all that matters to them. Most of us missed the altcoins boom of the past and we can only read about it now as history, but for us to expect another altcoins season .ay be like waiting endlessly since most of the recent projects have lacked the infrastructure that attracts investors into their projects, since none of them have ecosystem to prove as convincing factor for investors, attention have shifted from altcoins to more important sectors only bitcoin and a few others can actually make any remarkable progress in the future which should be followed carefully not to miss out on the opportunity of the current discount price for bitcoin. That the old altcoin era is tough to replicate. Primarily because the market is far more crowded these days. But I am not sure about altcoins. Projects would need to show an actual use case. And sustainable tokenomics, development activity and increasing user base. Rather than just hype. For a real altseason. Investors are not so optimistic anymore as they have experienced so many failed projects and promises. I think we're going to see a smaller number of projects actually provide something of value in the next big alt coin cycle. Not thousands of coins pumping together.

It just feel like there's nothing like Alt season again. When I joined this industry new, I was hearing much hype about the altcoins season. It was very much anticipated in 2021, but bitcoin took the lead. Till now, I haven't witnessed the alt season. Is it not happening again? Has the market shifted and can no longer accommodate alt season.
I know that when a market matures, many things will disappear naturally and no things will be introduced. Now I ask you, do you think there will ever be anything call alt season again?
We can't have alt season when half of the population of altcoins is more than the amount altcoins investors have to buy crypto in millions. Since the last time we experienced bull run of altcoins, the number of investors has reduced and that is because the altcoins are not interesting. Some people invested all their life earning into altcoins and they turn them from average person to poor people, they are bad as investment, the return are poor. Until we learn weed out bad coins from good coins, we need to remove bad people from the crypto market, I don't like regulations but we need to make things friendly again and make sure the exchanges are ready for that growth because the exchanges are sent away from some regions. Binance for instance is not allow to work in some part of Europe, that means many people will not be able to have access to crypto again, these things contribute to why altcoins are not coming back again.

I think that a lot depends on the condirtions of the market. When market falls it is very difficult to curvive even for old altcoins. For new altcoins the fall of the market is very difficult time and it is very difficult to survive in such condtions.

My believe is that alt season may come, but it's not all alt coin that will rise like in the past when like 95 percent of alt coin rise during that period, and another thing that I think will make only few alt coin to rise during that alt season is because of how disappointing most of them have been, so investors will be very selective this time around in where they are putting their hard earned money. So I think that most investors have given up on alt coin, while some investors have hopes in only few of them, that's why I think that if the alt season later comes, a large numbers of alt coin will not rise during that period.

Now many people use tron blockchain and it becames more popular and in demand. The demand in tron blockchain continue to rise. Also solana blockhain is popular and many projects use this blockhain. I think that in the future a lot of new blockchains will appear and it is necessary to evaluate the potential of new blockains to understand the demand in them in the futere.

I don't think so. Altcoins with strong fundamentals can survive well in the market although the market is in bad condition. It is because the investors and its community trust them well, they won't leave the altcoins. However, the altcoins must ensure the investors/community with good progress and convincing sign for the future. Meanwhile the weak coins with bad progress, they will have a big chance to disappear because community/investors won't trust them anymore. Moreover with the unpredictable market condition, investors will choose the most convincing altcoins only. By the way, many of new altcoins have weak fundamentals (even no fundamentals). It is the reason that they get difficulty in surviving in the market. Even the market condition looks good, they may also still turn to have bad ending. And some of new altcoins are scams, no doubt that they will disappear whatever the market condition.

More popularity to a particular block chain does not guarantee that the asset will skyrocket in the future, because alt coin is designed to fall more than they rise. If you look at most alt coin in the past months, they have bled uncontrollably if we are comparing it with Bitcoin, so I don't see them as a reliable asset to invest in, and hold for long because they are not trustworthy. Even Solana, Bnb and ethereum that are a bit better are not as good as Bitcoin because they can be easy manipulated by their large holders, but with Bitcoin that's never the case because even when it falls very dip, it will always find it way back up, and even better than where it falls from. So why am saying this is to let you know that alt coin are not that reliable, so you should risk what you can afford to lose if you are hell bent on investing on them.

In a blink, an altcoin can turn $100 into $10k, and within a short interval the same $10K may be around $10, this is basically how the altcoin market dies very quickly and the reason why most people do not take them seriously.
Investors are looking to set long term goals and not short term profits alone. First they start with buying and storing Bitcoin, every other altcoin comes second to Bitcoin after a good portfolio has been set up.
Investors are still diversifying into altcoins, holding Bitcoin does not stop them, but we can't take a big U turn over to altcoins.
It would be a herculean task to fully restore the confidence of altcoins in the books if the numerous investors that have been burnt by putting their money into altcoins that are dead because they've been scammed by the developers, the worst is that word is out there that altcoins cannot be trusted. If you look at the pattern of almost all the altcoins that have hit the market you will realize that their stories are similar, they are created, hyped to attract quick money seekers, they will pump and attract more victims then a rug pull and the project is dead. The only U-turn that can happen in the altcoins market is when we start to see more tokens that won't end up to become shitcoins, if we begin to see fewer scam projects that is when most crypto observers and investors will start to take the market seriously, until then we should invest extra cautiously in the altcoins market.

The matter is that not all altcoins are useful for people and will be in demand for a long time. The fall of the market can cleally show how useful is altcoin. If people will not use altcoin its cost will become zero very soon especcialy when market falls for a long time. Fall of the market is very difficult time for altcoins.

Of course, some altcoins are even just created to scam people. So, we must be very careful to choose altcoins. The fall of the market can cleally show how useful is altcoin. If people will not use altcoin its cost will become zero very soon especcialy when market falls for a long time.
If you mean the current decline in the market, it actually doesn't bring impact to altcoins only. It also brings impact to Bitcoin as well. However, it is true that some altcoins can end up to be dead coins, they will disappear and have zero value. Meanwhile Bitcoin will keep growing in the long run. Fall of the market is very difficult time for altcoins.
Sure, it makes weak altcoins to fail staying in the market due to very low demand. Finally, those weak altcoins will be eliminated. Only strong altcoins that can survive in the market.

Everu day a lot of new altcoins appear. But not all of them useful for people and will be in demand for a long time. Also it is necessary to remember that now is the fall of the market and it is very difficult to survive when market falls. Fall of the market is very difficut time for all altcoins and only the most useful altcoins will be able to survive during the fall of the market. That is why many altcoins will not be able to survive and soon their price will become zero because they do not have any practical use.

In the last few years, there has not been enough development in altcoins. This brings a big setback, and now investors confidence is at the lowest level, especially after a few memecoins have eaten up enough money, which is not coming back now. Even Herculean efforts are not bringing back any solid development; just a few top coins with good use cases can stay alive for a long time. Most are having no future, just hanging around on a ventilator and then sleeping forever. Having a good number of altcoins with good use cases and unique things surely can bring good changes, but how? It's always a big question mark who will do this now; people are moving around the hype of AI. This is also another big challenge because enough investment and hype are making things interesting with chances of survival for altcoins also limiting after every day with this current situation.
