@Dave1. The boxers who are rumored that they might sign with uncle Dana in Zuffa are Teo Lopez, Ryan Garcia and Usyk. There are already warning signs that King Ry will join uncle Dana after they negotiate King Ry's contract with Oscar and Golden Boy promotions. Teo Lopez might be a certainty because he wants more money hehheeh and Usyk it is only a speculation because he mentioned his retirement already.

However, uncle Dana also mentioned that he wants heavyweight boxing to become the greatest weight division in boxing again. He might convince Usyk not yet to rest hehehe.

Well if the money is right then Usyk will unretire, but also the question on how he is going to fight next? Kabayel? That will be a interesting fight to see as the young Agit is up and coming and so he wanted to test himself against the great Usyk, but we will see.

I will not be surprised if Teo or Ryan will sign with Zuffa, again, it boils down as how much they are willing to give those two, or even Haney himself. There's a lot of prospect as who are the boxers that they are going to sign in the future as there are a lot of upcoming in every division. The good thing is that if they takes over the boxing world, then there will be super-fights in any given calendar month. And that is good for boxing overall and for sure it's not dead.

@Dave1. If Zuffa Boxing under uncle Dana's control will be successful, we can be certain that there will be more superfights in boxing for many years very much similar to the superfight of Bud Crawford vs. Canelo!

We might witness King Ry vs. Teo or the rematch King Ry vs. the crying Haney. This will be an exciting occurrence in boxing heheheh. On superfights for Usyk, I reckon his opponents will not be the present heavyweight boxers. I predict these will be Bivol from light heavyweight and David Benavidez from cruiserweight!

What a cool fight! By the way, did you know they used to be sparring partners and are actually friends? Smiley
But let’s put the romance aside! Smiley
My prediction: Teofimo Lopez wins by decision or technical knockout (TKO) in the later rounds. Rolly Romero has gained weight, but… this might be a bit of an unfamiliar situation for him when fighting a more experienced, technically more versatile, and more motivated fighter. After his loss to Shakur Stevenson, Lopez needs to rebuild his image!
But let’s not forget that Rolli Romero has a very powerful, though some call it "dirty" ,  knockout punch. Getting hit by it would be very, very bad,  for Teofimo Lopez, of course. Plus, he (Rolli Romero) has a knack for throwing his opponents off their game Smiley

I’ll say one thing-this fight is going to be interesting!

Teo even mentioned that he lend Romero about $5k before. And that's why there's not much of a trash talking or taunting on either side during their press conference. Although there are a lot of boxers in the past that are friends who fought in the ring.

This is the nature of this business, at some point, you are going to face your previous sparring partners and even your friends. But at the end of the day, after this fight for sure they will still be friends and it's nothing personal.

This example can be applied to real boxing, a real sport. Unfortunately, we often see "aggressive roosters" at press conferences, along with insults-ones that are completely unacceptable and utterly unethical for the sport!

And the "problem" of friends facing off in the ring isn’t uncommon-when I used to box myself, I had to fight people I’d been friends with for a long time. But that’s sports!

This is business. Whatever they say is meant to catch the attention of the fans.
If theres no trash talk or something controversial, it may not get the same attention.

But in real life, if they are friends then they are still friends. What we see before the fight is part of selling it.

The fact that people are talking about it means it already worked. No boxer wants a big fight like this to have poor ticket sales. In the end, thats business.

It is positively undisputed that the fights held in the streets prior to professional sporting events are, in fact, merely a gimmick to make money. The media attention and masses in general are generated by the sensationalism of the feud and motivates an influx of paid-for deals. These promotional stunts do not take a toll on the true friendship the sportsmen share as each promoter would know that the popularity of the event would mainly rely on how enthused the audience is by the openly shown competition.

I will assume that you know that boxing is about the business of money. This boxers are putting their life on the line every time they step into the ring. And so with that they want to be compensated more. And how can they do that? They want fans to watch their fight live. So they want to stir as much as controversies during their conference so that it will create more hype.

And more hype means more money for them and for everyone around. Yes, I grew up fighting all my friends when we were young but now we are all best of friends. So in boxing it's possible and has happen numerous times. Or even if they are not friends before, they can be one out of respect.

You can check out Arturo Gatti-Micky Ward fight and what is the aftermath of it.

Although a good fighter will sell tickets without saying a word. The likes of Pacquiao, Canelo, Bud Crawford, GGG, and many others aren't loudmouths. But their fights sell. They're some of the most saleable boxing athletes. Their talents, stellar performances, caliber, speak for what they're going to offer to the fans. They don't have to include insults and drama and commotion in their promotions to make boxing fans excited.

Some fighters are just too corny obviously trying hard to feign enmity or personal grudges just to sell tickets.

This fight is nearly approaching and i browsed the odds of this fight, nothing significant has change still Teo Lopez is the heavy favorite to win this matchup. I have not made up my mind yet on whom to bet but the odds for Rolly Romero to win by decision is very attractive considering that this will Lopez first fight at the welterweight then i think betting for Romero is worth a try.
