Hi everyone,

I am looking for a pure **Price Check / Evaluation** on a legendary piece of Japanese Bitcoin history.

This is a museum-quality, complete set of an original **Satori Coin (悟コイン) Serial #1702**, preserved  alongside its extremely rare **official "INVITATION" and envelope** issued by Raimu (株式会社来夢).

As many collectors here know, Satori Coins are famous, but they were mostly distributed via gachapon capsules. This specific piece was handled as an official VIP invitation/launch gift packaged in a dedicated envelope, making the packaging itself an incredibly scarce piece of crypto-memorabilia.

*** IMAGES ***

What it looked like when it was arrived (edited image to prevent further damage):

**Item Details:**
- **Satori Coin Serial:** #1702 (The hologram is 100% intact and unpeeled, containing the original 0.001 BTC). The coin was embedded in the center of the invitation.
- **The Envelope:**   Raimu Inc.'s address is listed as the sender. The recipient's address has been obscured using MS Paint.
- **The Invitation:** As the contents says "launching soon.." this is an prelaunch surprise invitation to "satoricoin.jp," a site that has shut down. It serves as proof that the invitation and the coin were sent at an extremely early stage, prior to the launch of the service. Proof of "Page Zero" of the Satoricoin Project.
- **Condition:** Satoricoin is in great unpeeled condition. The center of the invitation is slightly torn when the satoricoin 1702 embedded in the center of the invitation was removed.

With the current massive resurgence of interest in Satori Coins globally, I know that finding a raw coin is hard enough—but finding an early 4-digit serial coin especially below 2000 complete with its original, undocumented invitation envelope is almost unheard of.

I would highly appreciate the insights of the experts here:
1. Has an official "INVITATION" envelope from Raimu ever been archived or sold on Bitcointalk before?
2. What would be a realistic valuation (in BTC) for this complete historical set in today's hot market?

Thank you in advance for your expert evaluations!

Realistic evaluation = Auction Grin

We can speculate, finding an idea of the value but this can be different from the final price realized.
[For all items of this category, I have never seen an estimates just a BIN from users]

as Latins will say... cum grano salis... Tongue

I have never seen a satori envelope - please note seems "anonymous letter" without logo at least on front.
(there is a sender address on the back or the Raimu logo?)
The invitation is an interesting item. It deserve a space in a collection.

From my (partial) records of previous sales of satori chip (0.001 btc) - pre/post fork =
- the "record" for a single token has been 2400 USD (public auctions - both in 2022 and 2025)
- In 2026 the minimum sale registered = 266 USD / Medium = 474 USD / max = 2318 USD
- in 2025 the minimum sale registered = 312 USD / Medium = 701 USD / max = 2400 USD
Considering 122 sales recorded, it could be possible to estimate a medium price of 600 USD from these data.
Excluding the evaluation for the coin itself (low serials are uncommon and rarely seen on the market), I would expect some interest in this "set" (envelope and invite). I am trying to collect as much as I can of satori coin material and I would easily pay 0.001 but I am not surprised if there is a bigger offer than mine.

Thanks for the reply.

This invitation was contained in the transparent envelope and shipped using yamato transport.
so, invitation itself does not have raimu's address.

But the envelope has raimu's address as the sender.
pic:  https://i.postimg.cc/MTWnWQKt/raimu.png

"送り主:来夢" means "sender:raimu"
receiver's address is hidden for privacy.

As you can see inside the invitation, the invitation is an invitation to
satoricoin.jp which is now defunct and reborn as satoricoin.com.

*Thanks for the merits! @bitbollo

I agree with this that the chip should be auctioned!
Something like this has never been seen on this forum... and there have been a lot of Satori chips sold/auctioned.
Happy to help out with any auction/sales/escrow

This is a special coin.  The lowest Satori serial I can remember seeing is in the #5000's range, so this would definitely have quite a bit of interest at auction.  I'd bid on it assuming a trusted escrow is allowed.

Rare items are best auctioned.  Only way to discover market price.

I would be a bidder in that auction as I own the last roll of Satori to be shipped (roll signed by Moto) and this would pair very nicely with it in my collection.

Agree with everything that's been said. I think the combination of the low serial number and the original invitation/envelope is what makes this piece especially attractive and unique. I own eight of these graded PCGS MS70, but all with much higher serial numbers (e.g., #016828 and #017008). Two sold for $500 USD when Bitcoin was trading higher and Satori chips appeared less frequently at the major auction houses. More recently, they've been realizing around $300–400 at Heritage (including the buyer's premium), as reflected in last night's results. Very nice piece!

I have a low 3 digit serial# & a 2 digit serial# sold on eBay a couple months ago.

Could you please post your "Satori" with a two-digit serial number on

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5420458.msg66792712#msg66792712  ?

I haven't seen one with a two-digit serial number yet. I’d love to see it, and I’m sure everyone else would too.
If you post it, you might become a "champion" of a low serial satori holder!

Thank you all for the invaluable insights.I think I will wait five years. If, after that time, the item has become widely known among enthusiasts—with records and documentation established—yet no other owner has surfaced, then I am likely the sole owner in the world. In that case, it might be worth putting it up for auction like scarce.city to let the market decide its true historical value. Until then, it will remain safely secured in my private collection.
