Agreed, technology has made lives easier but I feel the Op is trying to bring our minds to the importance of rest and having a free time. It is true that the idle mind can be the devil's workshop but its when the brain has achieved rest that it can have the energy to do more. Even robots take some time to rest, and that period is like their "free period".
In life, one has to strive hard to make ends meet but when we overlook the importance of rest and free time, you find out that things around you change without you taking too much notice of them. As a parent, you miss out on the important parts of your kids lives. Yes it's necessary to provide to make them comfortable but when you overdo it, its not just those memories you miss but you out your health at risk too.

It's true that with technology a lot of improvements can be seen in our daily life like through technology time becomes shorter like if a work required one hour now it's completed in few minutes and along with this technology offers us more time to reset or spend with friends. Rest is the most important and necessary phenomenon for human body which allows body and mind to recover and getting focus. Many parents works hard without any reset so they can give a good life style to their childrens but actually they don't take care of their own health and relations which leads to achieve nothing for parents. If we keep discipline and along work fixed a time for rest and keep time for relative and friends it's gives actual pleasure of life. And successful life demands a balance between professional work and daily routine work if we focused on one more than other then it's leads to undisplinary actions which push our life in struggle.

Youth do not have "free" time, they have time they are willing to trade that nobody acquires for the right price. That's the difference, you see a young person, 25 years old lets say, and that person is just scrolling tiktok and you think that is all there is to it. When in reality, that is not the case at all, the yare willing to trade you their time, work for you, but nobody hires them for the right price.

And by right price, I mean, people are not even offering as much as rent. So you want people to work at companies, for lesser than what their rent is, and you want them to be ok about living with 5 other friends? If we spend our time watching ads, scrolling through social media or doing other unproductive activities, that time becomes valuable to the companies behind those platforms not to us. That's why we need to be careful about how we spend our time and  Many people regret wasting their time instead of using it to upgrade themself for a better future.

Its getting very important to control the time you spent online on social media like watching reels because its of no use to watch the stupid content people share through reels. I have a job and remain busy working whole day but I make sure that I give proper time to things I love like giving proper time to my family, exercise, proper sleep at night and more. These things are necessary to make sure your health remains in good state, if your health goes down due to any reason then its very difficult to fix this issue.

Yep, that's right. I have already seen more than 20 winters. I won't mention the exact number, but I have seen even more than 30 haha. Anyway, I don't know how many winters and summers I have left to see and live in them.

Life is too short, and we get plenty of time in it. In that moment when we are free, that time becomes too much for us that we think 10 minutes is like 1 hour. But if we are not under any stress and we think we are good at something, we must do it in that free time. We can explore more, read papers in that field, and can change the future by discovering something new or by inventing it.

New ideas usually come when we are doing something haha, like in the toilet, or when we are watching a game, or when our mind is at rest.

In most of the history, it was all about "not enough time". Right, it was survival, labor, obligation, the clock owned by someone else. And now for the first time a significant number of people actually have discretionary hours. And the thing that is eating these hours is not obligation or necessity, it is, what? Entertainment implies enjoyment. That which you are talking about, the reels and the shorts, that is not fun. What we believe  is who we are, and how we think is what we become. Having the whole time to ourselves is the only without planning would not make impact like one who has a little time but plans on how to utilize it well for a productive and successful results after all.

You can tell the likely future options from past progression, we get technology and in theory it can provide for everyone.  We can be rich enough to not be without any work exactly but obviously be far better off then imaginable on average.   There is enough food right now globally to feed every single one of the billions of people, its easily possible to do this today yet what is the truth we all know.
   We are spending a ton of effort, money, energy, resources and lives dedicated towards death and causing harm to our fellow people, call it nationalism or whatever nonsense excuse we come up for why we expect to profit from hurting other people; there is no reward so we are quite poor even in rich countries vs what could be true.

In future we really could end up with the intro to terminator 2, we're 3 years away from that scenario portrayed and Im not recognizing any great hope or positive to deny its possibility;  a ridiculous state of constant war and poverty with machines automated towards fighting wars endlessly.  Destruction without any end or purpose, unfortunately both outcomes are equally true but I don't blame the technology itself I blame the desire or denial of logic we live by when expecting any positive from violent ends.

A nice way to say that unemployment is a privilege, but it's actually not.

New ideas don't specifically come from free time; they come from intellectual minds. Give an idiot a year without anything to do so that they can think of something amazing, a new idea, and they will fail miserably, but give a genius some work to do and keep their mind mostly equipped and they will come up with better ideas and innovations than the idiot who is sitting idle without anything to do and with a totally free mind.

I also didn't understand why you said that the companies that are fighting for our attention today will be fighting for our health and stuff, that didn't really made much sense to me. These things will get even crazier in the future, 15 years ago we didn't have targeted ads and you would never just get ads pop up on your web browser about shoes just because you searched about shoes a couple of hours ago. In the future, we will see even crazier strategies for these things, so our attention will still be their priority even in the future.
