Probably lack of energy and coaching problem, the team that win against them also had their training and they had the enthusiasm to win and continue moving forward and they are doing so, I know that in sports games like this, small mistakes by one team can create an opportunity of defeat for the other team and it's what's been happening.

Well they tried their best, you can say that their best was not enough but it's not that easy, in my opinion, despite them not winning, they still played very well, I have these believe that in this FIFA World Cup, teams don't usually have lack of confidence because they know it would be an honour to win the cup, so they usually do their best and train as much as required. Stuffs like this should be expected in football because that’s literally the game. Anyone can be in that position, and it’s not even about being an African team or not, we also have other teams who are not from Africa that haven’t even come this far and have had far worse gameplay. So in conclusion, I think it was both a defensive errors and over confidence that cost them losing that game yesterday.

I was in the midst of some football fans today and this was their major discussion. It's quite alarming when African nations gets kicked out even after leading with a reasonable amount of goals. It's not even the first world cup this is happening. This makes me think if these African nations are scared or get worried too early that they allow that fear into their games? Or is it that they just get carried away by their strength in the first quarter of the games and forget that the main target is to win till the end. The discussion today was quite intense and the top reason people were saying was fear. I don't know if that's true because we can't just come to a conclusion that fear is the possible reason. But indeed African nations have to work up in the world cup. We have just Morocco going into the quarter finals, but all is well..

You could argue that at 2–0 they should have changed their strategy, focused more on defending, and perhaps even tried to slow the game down, but that's much easier said than done. When you're facing a strong attacking team, they will still keep applying pressure and pin you back in your own half, just as they did against Egypt. From that point on, everything depends on the individual quality of the defenders and whether they can withstand the pressure and keep the opposition from scoring.

Every coach wants to implement the best strategy in every match. Some might adjust according to their opponents, but poor results can happen if the planned strategy doesn't work well. Most African teams tend to keep playing the same players without many changes. Of course, their opponents have already studied their play style and observed their strengths. This is certainly done by all teams, but the ones who succeed are those who execute a more suitable strategy. They need to improve for the next edition. The same goes for teams from Asia.

Africans lack tactical management when it's come to football. Most coaching staffs do not have the ability of making the right decision at the right time.

Your statistics is accurate about how these African teams didn't live up to expectations to make it near the semi finals of this world cup, it is quite sad that after getting African hopes of them progressing to the next rounds they all lost when we thought that they would win their games. I guess they have to go back to their drawing boards and see why after so much efforts to cross the group stages they all had almost a similar pattern of loses. The stronger teams are the ones that are winning leaving the weaker ones aside to go home.
This is no more about a continent but how far most of these countries can contend with other countries to qualify for the next stage.
Many of us must have lost money because we thought the team we choose to win is strong enough to defeat their rival but the extraordinary happens and the outcome of the match changes.
