What is wrong with Africa teams?

In my opinion, the African national teams played better than many of the favorites; I see nothing wrong with them; that’s just how football works. Morocco has once again advanced past the Round of 16 and will face France, a very strong team. Whether they win or not is up to them; the possibility is there. No team takes the field expecting to lose, and I admit I was more excited by their matches than by those of my own country's team.

Egypt's come-from-behind defeat is truly inexplicable; however, it was not impossible, and there were questionable decisions. It could simply be the complaint of someone unable to accept defeat or a more serious case of actual favoritism; it is impossible to say.

Morocco facing France will be one of the greatest and most difficult game for the African gaint in the ongoing world cup tournament,  it will be very difficult predicting in favour of Morocco but one sweet thing i know and believe about football is its ability to turn against expectations.
Before now know one believed Morocco could get to this point but they did surprise the world by winning unexpected games even in an unimaginable manner and I don't think doing that to France in there coming game won't be possible for them.

As for that of Egypt I am so disappointed in them, a game that fell in there favour but because what i can't tell they gave it to Argentina in a very calm manner,  although I won't blame them but that is what you get when u play with fear and not with confidence.

I have not seen any controversial team between the match of Argentina and the Egyptians but people feel that the referee is the reason why Argentina won the match between Egyptians, but I've not seen any favor that the referee gave to Argentina that make them to win Egypt people will be saying any everything than want to see and the anything that enters into their mouth because what the expected in that match was not the outcome of it so I believe that anything that has to do with match it changes when you don't expect it to change I have that in mind for long time ago so that is why I cannot support people who is talking outside that the referee and FIFA rules favor argentina's

This is my tierred list of African team based on their gameplay in the world cup. It's all about the consistency. Morocco so far is the best one from African, which was able to reaching quarter final. So i place them at the S tier from African.
So far morocco is the only complete team in African. They good in attack and defense. They also able to maintain the lead, and not getting pressured by the situation.

Meanwhile, the rest of african teams are just meh. Egypt unable to maintain 2 goals lead against Argentina, while the rest are also doing similar things.
So consistency is the problem here. Even when african team played fully defensive, they still conceded goals like there's something wrong with them.

The decision has been made and FIFA doesn't care about what the media is saying because they decide how and what they want to happen in the game it if we are being honest Argentina scored fantastic goals but the question is the Egypt goal that was disallowed by the VAR due to foul that wasn't given by the referee but same thing happened between Mo Salah and the Argentina players which led to goal but the VAR failed to review it instead they counted the goal of Argentina. FIFA has been compromised there's no two ways about it.

Yeah, people are very angry about the incident, but there is nothing to be done here, it has happened, fans can only lay out their complain as they always say the rules are being biased and that is not confirmed to be true yet and even if its true, no one can really do anything about it, as it seems that the organizations has already planned who they want to win the World Cup and if that seems to be true, that will be very unfair. Although, the African teams are really doing well and there is no doubt about it.

I can't really tell what the problem of the Africa teams is they all start the FIFA world well, but i don't understand them anymore. The match between Egypt and Argentina was something that really paste me off, because i understand the reason why the Egyptian players were playing unserious football after scoring Argentina two goals.

Then, with only a few munities before the end of the match Argentina equalized and still won the match just like that, as if they were playing with toys on pitch. Africa teams can do better, i never expect this kind of performance from the Africa team that participated in the FIFA world cup but it's fine.

African teams have many talented and good players, and there could be many reasons for their failures, some of which you've mentioned.

In my opinion, the biggest deficiency is not the capacity to play in such elite tournaments, but rather a lack of knowledge and experience, which is why they get eliminated early. Actually, it would be more accurate to say it's just football. Because football is now completely a system game having one or two individually good players doesn't change anything.

Most African teams lack quality and experience, and I'm sure that over time they will be able to compete at the highest level, but for the moment expectations are simply being met, except for some surprises in the first games.

I don’t even know what is the main issues of all the Africa teams they always left behind in everything look at how other’s countries has been performing very well, yeah they might able to compete in the highest level but they really need to be more improve. I keep wondering why African teams don't go far when it comes to world cup tournament.
When it comes to international football, Africa has good players who play in the international teams, so I feel the FIFA world cup tournament is a game of the professionals, of which African players are competing with their counterparts in other continents.
What is making African teams not to do well in the FIFA world cup is what I don't actually know, because they are playing with their fellow team mates in the professional leagues.
Of recent country like Morocco has been performing well among the African teams, in the last FIFA world cup they reached the stage of semi finals, and in this 2026 FIFA world cup they are playing quarter finals with France which the outcome has not been decided yet.

There is nothing wrong if African country should lift FIFA world cup, and I strongly believe that if Morocco should continue in their present performance, they will someday lift FIFA world cup trophy.

France are an absurdly strong side, but Morocco seem to have cracked at some point, it’s a shame, I was hoping for an upset and for the French to be sent home. Congratulations to France for beating Morocco to progress to the next round of the competition. You don't have to blame other African countries if they decided not to support Morocco in the game. Morocco should not be regarded as an African teams because they have made it known that they are not part of Africa so if they go back home they should try and separate themselves from other African countries because they won't be getting any further support when they play any tournaments cause they made it open that they are not African. Their skin color is white they should continue to see themselves as white even as they prepare to go bask to their country.

Morocco have tried in this tournament because it's not easy for a team to reach to this extent from initial would have gone home earlier before now no knowing that they will participate to reach this extent, France is a top team in this tournament so any country that defeat a France that country we carry the cup, because the squad of France is an experience players so I believe that they are going to do where in any group or anything they meet so Morocco to go home in peace they have tried and they have also made their country proud to get into this extent in this tournament

The Egyptian football team real did there best in other to be able to qualify for that round but the referee was clearly not being helpful in that match especially the.goal that was disallowed. This may always contribute to them losing confidence in the game and as a result there poor performance in the second half. I believe if everything was to be fair as it was supposed to be the Egyptian wouldn't have been eliminated in the world cup by the Argentina team.

Morocco played well, but when they stopped marking their defensive zones, Mbappe didn't miss, he found the gap and scored, then Dembele. The thing is, France has a lot to offer to break down any strategy; they have good team play and also have players who can do the individual work. Deschamps can afford to play for a while with individual players and then switch to team play, which is why I think France will win this World Cup.
