I'm surprised that Nigerians haven't learnt anything from previous Ponzi schemes that have crashed. I wouldn't blame this unfortunate incident on the government because nobody contacted the government when they wanted to invest for advice. If they didn't contact the government that means they invested at their own risk so they should suffer the consequences alone. Some Nigerians problems is greed, when would they stop being greedy and be responsible..money this days is very hard yet some Nigerians still have the mind to invest in Ponzi schemes. Even as NRC has crashed and if another Ponzi scheme is launch tomorrow don't be surprised some Nigerians would still go ahead and invest. Anyone who doesn't want to learn should be prepared for the consequences that await them.

Some of the victims are blaming government for not providing jobs for them and that's why they want to take the opportunity. That's not an excuse. If you have money to invest in ponzi schemes, you definitely have money to invest in legit asset like bitcoin but they prefer quick profit over patience.
They should be blaming themselves for their greed and careless act and not the government. Though the government has their own short comings for not doing what's required from them but that's not enough reasons for one to intentionally start doing what we later strip him of the little he would have used in establishing himself. Moreover, their is no shortcut to success meaning you can only build it with hard work and overtime,  therefore running after it like right now will only brings you more pain than gain.

You know one thing about most of us is that we like learning from hard experience. We don't learn by example of other people which is bad, this is not the first time something like this is happening or even the last time, it will keep on reoccurring because people love it when they're been hit hard so why feeling for someone that doesn't feel for his own self? that can't be possible.

Am actually a victim i invested both in NRC and TAG i wouldn't blame those who also fall victim of these scam projects they made everything look so real even have a CAC registration number and also some government officials were also their promoters so people wouldn't actually know it was just a ponzi scheme because they were even organizating program in different states with so much crowd and people were attending them so if Nigeria was a working country those frusd stars would have been fish out by now.

Most people are saying that it is because of greed that most people fall victim to ponzi but it’s not true, life is actually hard for most Nigerians, the stupid minimum wage that is being paid by the government is so poor that it can barely feed someone for a week let alone a month, the Nigerian economy is also so bad that small petty traders can’t survive because of poor government policies, what do we expect Nigerians to do? I just feel that every Nigerian is just looking for a way out of this current Tinubu APC hardship, imagine hearing that there is an avenue that one can be making extra cash weekly why would people not fall victim? The truth is even if they repeat NRC or any other ponzi scheme most Nigerians will still be gullible because they are looking for a way of surviving and you know that their is a saying that a man that is siting on the ground is not scared of falling, being a Nigerian already makes one lose 1:0 down in life, that is why most Nigerians are just trying anything possible to see if they can come out of the present hardship.

It's the same pattern over and over again, I'm not going to be surprised that people do not learn.

We had similar cases last year if I can remember correctly but is desperation actually the reason why people still believe in free money? Those fake investment sites are all over the internet and you can imagine how many Nigerians are been fooled every time.

When something makes investment seem effortless, it likely turn out to be a scam. You don't expect them to pay out money they never had. We have to think smart before we make any decisions involving investment so we do not blame people who are not the cause of the problem.

Dat a business get CAC registration or get huge crowd wey dey patronize am nor mean sey e dey legit. The first thing wey anybodi supposed ask demselves weneva dem dey invest in something na to find out how dat business dey work, wetin dem really dey into and where dem investment wey go repay ur own investment dey. If u nor fit answer all those questions and d business dey based on referral, bring two people to bring two people, bro make u run!

E get somebodi wey tell me about dis thing less than three weeks ago. I nor even ask d name. I just ask am how d thing dey work. He told me sey na investment and him go dey get daily payout if him invest. I told him at once sey na Ponzi and e go crash, make e nor put hand there. He started arguing wit me. I just leave am. Na as dis NRC thing happen, I com chat am up to find out d name of dat business wey him talk to be about, he sey na NRC. Na since I dey laugh am. Most people wey dey enta Ponzi investment sabi wetin dem dey get into. Na greed dey drive dem enta.

Red flags were there from day one but as usual, people ignored it. It guarantee returns, pay before earning and also relies heavily on referrals. These are obvious signs of ponzi and potential scam site but people are looking for quick money forgetting that wealth is built slowly.

For dis country people no go learn. With the kin Ponzi scheme wey don happen before, I no believe say Ponzi scheme go still happen now and people go still join. I no hear about dis NRC uptill when e crash before I come Dey see people Dey complain about am on social media.

People for dis country just Dey look for money, na y most of them are always after  Ponzi scheme, because y u go see site wey go talk say make u just deposit money, u no go do anything and profit go Dey enter for ur account, e Dey suspicious already now, but people go still put money.

U no go know say people get money for dis country until Ponzi scheme crash u go come Dey hear amount wey people lose. Money wey dem Dey use do all those Ponzi scheme, y dem no just use am start small business, I know say country no easy but instead of giving it to scammers, make dem just use am establish.

Lol. This is 2026 and I continue to wonder why people continue to dey fall victim to this nonsense each time. This is not the first time Ponzi scheme has scammed people and see what people have been doing again in 2026. We dey complain every day that the economy is very hard and some people still dey use the money they need to survive to put into this stuffs. I even heard that some people even sold their properties only to invest in this so called NRC.

The most surprising thing is that I didn’t know anything about this stuff until the day the said people lost their money. Lol maybe they wanted to chop the update low-key, they didn’t loud it until the thing run with their money. Even with this some people will still invest in another Ponzi scheme, if they just hear that new update dey, they will invest. But to be honest, I thought we could have done better than this.

Another ponzi scheme just crashed yesterday.
read details

NRC claimed to be a read and earn platform that reward users for reading, referring and do daily tasks. Of course, it's not free. You pay for registration and upgrade your account to vip level. The more you upgrade with higher amount, the more you earn.

Now the website (I don't want to reveal it) is not longer accessible since yesterday. Thousands of people are affected, billions of naira reportedly gone just like that. They claim it's maintenance but we know it already because we are familiar with the game.

Red flags were there from day one but as usual, people ignored it. It guarantee returns, pay before earning and also relies heavily on referrals. These are obvious signs of ponzi and potential scam site but people are looking for quick money forgetting that wealth is built slowly.

We don't pay attention to scams because the country we have found ourselves made it so, had it been Nigeria was working and every individual has a Job they are engaged in and busy some of this things won't happen but because majority of the Youths are jobless every little opportunity that is made available to them they jump on it and don't care if it's real or not, they ignored the red flags because of the money involved same way it happened some years ago that MMM came and scammed thousands of Nigerias and left many hospitalized.

A stranger came to me to introduce this crashed NRC and how he is cashing out sixteen thousand naira (#16,000) daily and I told him I'm not interested considering my experience during MMM, Nigerian love quick money due to the hardship and they will never learn from what has happened previously.

I was actually a victim too. I invested in both NRC and TAG. I don't blame anyone who fell for these schemes because they made everything look legitimate. They had CAC registration, some government officials reportedly promoted them, and they organized large events across different states that attracted huge crowds. With all of that, it was difficult for many people to believe they were just Ponzi schemes.

If Nigeria's institutions worked more effectively, those behind these fraudulent schemes would have been identified and brought to justice by now. I just hope people learn from this experience and become more cautious before investing in similar projects in the future.

Apart from making it look legitimate in appearance,  many got involved in it because of how hash the economy is just to meet end needs as been dependent on unavailable jobs will make life more difficult.
Its quiet unfortunate seeing people pushing to provide for themselves and family failing into the hands of a well developed scam all in the name of investment platform. But honestly speaking i will say they did a very nice job in developing the platform to portray all the qualities of a good investment platform which know one including me believe its a scam.

One thing I know is that we can never change and we Nigerians are very greedy set of people, we don’t appreciate what we have and that is why we always get scam, whenever I hear that a person get scam in this country i do not get surprise because we always get ourselves in trouble, a person will come to me in 2026 and ask me to invest money in something that is not bitcoin and I will believe it? That is impossible because no one can be trust in this country.

What makes me laugh and did not feel pity for those that got scammed is that those people are poor people, poor people that are complaining that the government is bad and they did not have money to feed, if the government hear that some people lost millions and thousands of naira in a scam project they will not even look at us anymore because they will say that where did the people have that kind of money despite the complaints from the people.

Lack of information is affecting many people in the world today, for them to have been requested of paying a particular amount of money to got registered and on board shows that it is a scam already, because they are online platforms that we pay you for performing some particular task but will never request you to force make any payment either to start own to proceed in ranking up, a good example is this forum, many online platforms will allow you to perform some particular task and you earn from doing so, a legitimate one will not ask you to pay before you could start.

Some people are misled due to misinformation, but still whatever happens to them is their fault, because you can't just directly put your money into something that someone recommended to you without proper research or investigation to know whether the information is true and also to ensure that the source is legit. Some people are blinded by greediness and the main cause of it is lack of contentment, I don't blindly trust any information easily especially if it has to do with money. I have seen a lot of people that invest so much into it, because they believe it is legit because of the money that they are receiving, I don't know why some of them failed to understand that the scammers are only trying to earn their trust so that people should put much into it, and at the end of the day they will be left in doom.

I don't think Nigerians can ever learn as long as making quick money is always a thing. They will keep falling victims to all these schemes. They keep coming back with different names, operate for long, and the EFCC and other authorities will say or do nothing. Then after they have scammed many Nigerians, they will pretend to act. The truth is, the hunger for fast cash is too strong. Even when the red flags are clear, people still rush in because they see others making money and don't want to miss out. They forget that if it sounds too good to be true!! Then it is obviously not legit

Whenever you see a company or a useless organization, that is bragging about CAC, then just know that it’s a scam, whatever that you put your money into and you’re not working anything reasonable, they ask you to invest a certain amount of money and you will be earning certain amount of money, without leaving your house for job, and your money is there growing for no reason, then just know that it’s a scam and a Ponzi scheme and it’s just a matter of time before it fall apart, I have previously been a victim of such Ponzi schemes, so I know there pattern and style of operations, in case of next Ponzi that will come, because I know they will always come in different forms and style to get people scammed again, so many people have fallen victim for the NRC and it’s a sad reality that such a thing would be happening in Nigeria, and the Government aren’t saying anything about such a situation, I’m sorry for people who have lost their money in that Ponzi scheme.

The Government knows everything about it, and they can’t do anything because they are going to have a percentage of money from people that are responsible for defrauding people of their money allegedly.

Maybe we can say that it is a corruption at the high place, it could be that those government officials are part of the game plan in disguise, people should learn their lesson I have too in the past when mmm, givers forum, ogive, su global and many others crashed since then I have said to myself that nothing will ever make me get myself involved in anything related to ponzi scheme, from your descriptions I think it goes well with the saying that not all that glitters are gold, they shown to be real why they are fake and the worst part is that most people will put an amount that they can't afford to lose which is very bad.

It's obvious that Nigerians will never learn, youths nowadays are fond of quick money these days, many that were affected were too greedy. Many people that do participate in it were business owners and they are doing well with their various business just that they are into competition they want to be more richer than those that started business before them for decades of years. if not for greedy Nigerians that are not content with what they have some of the victims do make a lot of profits from their businesses but they decided to join ponzi all in the name of greediness and they do called it investments.

It has become a normal and usual occurrence, and people will not learn or refrain from getting involved. Firstly, enticed by the easy going procedure, getting paid for just taking orders and all of that, before you know it, it's all gone.

A friend of mine recently introduced one to me. He said it is called, 'Pxes', an Australian company or which country self. According to him, you get paid by just taking orders daily. Of course, you must register first before you can enjoy the payments. He also mentioned there are different levels of registration, the first level, second and third levels. But also discovered that there alot of emphasis on building team, meaning, referrals and building your own team, and there is much more reward for those building teams.

People will not stop building platforms to make money from others, and people will not also learn from previous collapse, and so, people will always become victims. I have just stayed off that stuff

I'm still surprised that in 2026 people are still falling for ponzi scheme scammed, this is making it the third time this is happening this year, and many are still investing in it ,how gullible people could be, and I know before the year ends 4 will still come and mend away with their money ,since MMS crashed,I know how hard it was for me to recover and I don't see myself falling vitim again for them ,but because of greediness anytime, any day my country people will still fall for it ,it's really sad knowing people don't learn ,but it's all good, they should keep wasting money that way, out of greed they have been falling victims for years till this year,it's really well.

It is of know importance blaming people failing into the traps of ponzi schemes this 2026 all because all this are done just to secure a good and conducive means of survival. In Nigeria today youths are hardworking and willing to sacrifice all just to secure a good life for themselves and there families but because there is know provision made for the transformation and creation of job opportunities, youths are faced with know options than to do all they could do the create a conducive environment for themselves.
Although even at this position,  all needs to be very and extremely careful in what ever we get ourselves involved in to avoid the stories that touches the heart.

Ponzi scheme has been a common scam in Nigeria, which has made a lot of people lost their money, I think by now people must have learned their lesson not to fall for this common scam but seeing the numbers of people who were complaining after the crash of NRC is a thing of surprise that people are still open to invest in Ponzi scheme. I don't pety those who lost their money in NRC because they were fully aware of the risk they were taken and they still allow themselves to become victims of exist scam so they are responsible for their loss. One thing people should know is, any investment that involves giving someone you don't know your money, and you will be receiving a certain amount of money in a giving period as return of investment, just know that the investment is exist scam.
