Yes, for those of us who have been following Hajduk for years, this was a truly surprising result.
Hajduk, a club with a long and illustrious past, has been waiting for almost 20 years to achieve some great result, to become the champion of Croatia again or to finally qualify for the group stage of a European club competition.
They started this season unconvincingly, with an away defeat to Žilina 2:1 and a disastrous defeat to Pafos 4:0, so no one really expected such a convincing victory against Žalgiris from Vilnius.
This is Hajduk's first away victory in European club competitions in 6 years.
Of the other results, I am surprised that Panathinaikos did not use the home field advantage and beat CSKA, while the other matches ended without surprises, with expected results.

They obviously ran into a much worse team than themselves, but it's only the first game and considering how unpredictable they are, I think we should wait for the return 90 minutes. Judging by the first game in the national championship, it is very likely that they will not have much chance of becoming champions this season either.

If they managed to qualify for the Conference League, it would be positive for them from a financial point of view, but playing on two fronts will put their players under great physical pressure. This is mostly something that even much more powerful clubs cannot balance.

Nordsjaelland managed to win 2-0 on the road against their opponent in a match where they were the favorites. Leading 1-0 at halftime, Nordsjaelland extended their lead to 2-0 with a penalty kick in the second half. They could certainly have scored more goals; it must be said that they squandered some chances. I think they’ll defeat their opponent at home as well.
Braga managed to win by a single goal at home against Dinamo Minsk. Braga, which won thanks to a penalty kick by Ricardo Horta, didn’t even allow their opponent much time on the ball. In my opinion, they could have scored more goals in this match because I think the difference in strength between the two teams is quite significant.

Last year, a Premier League team won the Conference League. This year, Brighton & Hove Albion is the Premier League team that is participating in the Conference League, but they will have to enter at the play-off round. The play-off draw is scheduled for 3 August. on that day, they will learn who their opponent is, and the matches will be played on 20th and 27th of August. A two-legged match that will determine if Brighton & Hove Albion will join the league stage of the UEFA Conference League. For now, they are not in any group yet, but I will be supporting them in this competition.

I think both the Conference league and the Europa League was win by an English Premier League team last season, now that Brighton will need to qualify for the playoff before knowing the group they will belong to, they need all the support they can get to motivate them to come out victorious in their games and as a strong supporter of the English Premier League my support will be for them to qualify so that we will see it they can bring the trophy him as well.

Some of us see this as new idea,as the conference league may not be that knows the popularity has not cut many attention , English team is always a team which many like me cherish due to some nice players they produced given support within our ability to make them succeed, one thing that make football or any game colourful is the support from the team and even some external and internal support by wale who are able to do ensuring the system or team dream is not been killed, the most aspect is the encouragement given by the team fans before the financial aid.

Gent won on the road against Göteborg by a single goal. The goal came in the final minutes of the first half. Gent must be pleased to have come away with a victory in this match. They were, of course, the favorites in this matchup, but Göteborg was the better-playing team.
Rapid Wien secured a decisive victory against their opponent, Paide Linnameeskond, with goals scored in the final 10 minutes of the second half. After finishing the first half tied 1-1 with their opponent, Rapid Wien really ramped up the pressure as the match entered its final minutes and found the back of the net. The difference in strength between the two teams was already obvious, but the fact that they couldn’t score until the final 10 minutes suggests to me that they were facing some difficulties.

Yes, I agree that they were lucky in the draw and got an easier opponent in this round of qualifiers, but still, it's not easy for anyone to score 5 goals away today, regardless of the strength of the team, so I think we can agree that Hajduk played a good European match after a long time.
I don't expect any problems for Hajduk in the return leg at home because the difference in the quality of the team is obvious, and Hajduk's next European match will be much more interesting, against the winner of the match between Rakow and Hammarby because they are much better teams, similar in quality to Hajduk.
We will see there whether Hajduk is finally ready to step up and qualify for the group stage of a European club competition after almost 20 years.
The other Croatian representative, Rijeka, missed the opportunity to practically secure a place in the next round of qualifiers in the first match and they come to Finland against Ilves with only a minimal advantage of 1:0, so they are in for a tough match.
If they advance, they will face a very tough opponent in the final round of group stage qualifiers, most likely Midtjylland after their 2-0 away win against Bohemians.
It seems to me that Hajduk had much better luck than Rijeka in the draw.

Apollon Limassol will host Brann at home. Having secured a victory on the road in the first leg, Apollon has gained a significant advantage in advancing to the next round. I have no doubt that Brann will give it their all in this match, so there could be a high number of cards issued. Apollon Limassol holds the home-field advantage and is the favorite, but I believe Brann is a tough team with the potential to turn things around on the road.

Goteborg weren't as strong as Gent rather they are equals as one didn't play better than the other in performance. Gent has some few chances to score which Hyllarion Goore utilise his chance when he had it which he scored during the 45mins of the game.
Honestly,I have never heard of Goteborg before so I was impress that they were able to play very well in the match. Even as Gent is one of the strong team in the Belgium pro league is the more reason they should have defeated Goteborg by a large margin.

The fact that their leagues haven’t started yet—meaning they aren’t fully prepared—could actually work in their favor. CSKA Sofia managed to secure an away win in the league just three days ago and will come into this match highly motivated. Panathinaikos needs to win, but CSKA Sofia has the potential to take the game into overtime.

In the Conference League qualifier, Auda managed to defeat their opponent, Dinamo Tirana, by a single goal. Although they were slight favorites going into the match, Auda defeated their opponent and has, for now, managed to turn the advantage in their favor. It’s unclear whether they’ll advance to the next round, but I think Dinamo Tirana will at least force the match into extra time at home. Perndreca will be suspended for Dinamo Tirana due to a red card.

I can't classified Auda winning over Dinamo Tirana as manage because i know too well that Aude team turely work very hard for the winning, you could have said that the match was so tough because any matches that end with one goal different sometimes, is always a tough match for the both opponents to score but the best among the teams will able to separate from the teams by scoring when his opponent couldn't score back and that is exactly what happened to Aude team, although is still the first leg of the between Aude vs Dinamo Tirana team in UEFA Conference League and Aude was able to secure the first leg by 1:0 over Dinamo Tirana club, so the second leg that is coming up on 13th of August will justify everything between the both teams on which clubs that will be victorious finally.

I expected that this game should have been decided in the first leg. Because looking at the strength of the two teams that these teams are coming from, you expected that Panathinaikos should have won this game comfortable right from the first leg. Panathinaikos did not live up to my expectations because CSKA Sofia should not have been been able to get even a draw over the two legs.

Whether the league in Greece has started or not Panathinaikos should win this type of match. CSKA Sofia really surprised me because, it not easy to actually play a draw coming up like a side from Greece because teams from Bulgaria are not yet up there when it comes to European competition.

I was expecting that this game was going to end up in a penalty shootout. Because the game ended up in a draw in regulation time,  if not of the late goal from Panathinaikos CSKA Sofia was having a good chance of making it over this round.

As you expected Cska took the game into overtime but once overtime started it was over for them because they conceded a goal and that was the end for them. Panathinaikos barely passed Cska and struggled a lot and if Panathinaikos wants to go into the group stage they will need to play much better. They should have won in the first leg at home and made this easier but still they went into the last round.

The latter was a weird game. There was only one goal scored in the first 86 minutes, with 4 more goals scored after that. Brann bagged the deciding goal in in the extra time. I don't think many have expected Brann could pull an away win after losing 1-0 at home last week.

I was surprised as you bro, because when sk brann lost one goals to nil to at home, I believed that Apollo Limassol will easily complete the job at home, but I was really surprised when sk brann refuses to quit, and they went ahead to win 1-2, which took them to the extra time and they finally complete the job by scoring two goals in the first half of the extra time that sealed the winning after they had conceded earlier, so it was a hard fought winning for sk brann last night.

Although Zalgiris Vilnius lost the first leg 3-0 to Dinamo Tbilisi, they put on a spectacular show in their home match, winning 7-2 and advancing to the next round. It was truly an incredible match. After the first half ended in a 1-1 tie, Zalgiris came out strong in the second half and started scoring goals. In a match where they failed to convert a penalty in the first half, they scored a total of 7 goals to pull off a legendary comeback. With the score at 5-2 in the 82nd minute, they found the back of the net twice more in the closing minutes to win the match 7-2 and prevent it from going into overtime.

Frankly I didn't expect such pep from Zalgiris Vilnius and had my ticket on Dinamo Tbilisi because ^{in my view} they are  level above in their skills, so I lost my bet and, accordingly, money. But I am not complaining because the match was really enjoyable to watch, seeing a lot of balls in the net. Tomorrow, they will face Hajduk Split, which also won the first leg, so if Zalgiris shows the similar result, it would be something.

Apollon Limassol faced Brann at home. Apollon Limassol had managed to win the first match 1-0 on the road. The second match turned into a true goal-scoring duel, and Brann managed to win the game in extra time. The final minutes of regulation time were thrilling. Although Apollon Limassol tied the score in the 86th minute, Brann scored the goal that sent the match into extra time about 4–5 minutes later. In extra time, Apollon tied the score again, but Brann regained the lead and won the match 4–2. It was a significant comeback for Brann.

Can you prove it that you are not writing from the future? 

Sofia indeed pushed the game to extra time. Although, Panathinaikos actually played like the favourite even though they share the possession equally but you can see a wide difference on shot on target. Sofia hold their ground in the regular time but Panathinaikos finished the work in early minutes of the extra time. If I should be fair in my assessment, both teams does not looked fully prepared for the game. Although Panathinaikos still had the quality to find their way through when it mattered the most but it wasn't a comfortable victory as expected.

HNK Rijeka will be playing on Finnish soil and will try to defend the lead that they gained on home turf (1:0). It will not be an easy game for them, but all of us fans will be on their side, and hopefully they can pass through and await a strong Danish team like Midtjylland.

While most of the action will take place tomorrow, we had 3 games being played today. The teams that are going through to the next stage are:
Rapid Wien eliminated Paide Linnameeskond (6-1 aggregate);
Copenhagen declassed Debrecen 8-1 on aggregate; and
GKS Katowice sadly got eliminated by Hapoel Tel Aviv. They fought a good fight but fell short of one goal. They won the game 2-1 but lost 2-3 on aggregate.

Some of the clubs have such a big advantage from the 1st leg (i.e. Twente or Tromso) that they are very likely to play with their bench players tomorrow and give their first squads some rest. That's unless they want to use that game as a preparation for the league season.
