It could be me, but I think Brighton only drawing with Jablonec was the biggest surprise of the round. Brighton are currently in 3rd place in the Premier League after 7 rounds and they have the highest number of goals scored, over twice as many as Arsenal. So it's a big surprise that they couldn't score a single goal against Jablonec, a 7th-placed team in the Czech league table. I expected them to score at least 3, even playing with a bench squad.
I still see Brighton as one of the biggest favourites of this tournament, and bookies agree. Checking the odds right now and the top 5 favourites are:

I think everyone underestimates Hajduk and after Ajax they also beat Thun away and currently have maximum points and have practically secured passage to the knockout stage of the competition.

Based on the current games and results, I would say that we have more evenly matched teams, and I would give a slight edge to Brighton, Panathinaikos, Trabzonspor and Monaco as potential favorites in this competition.

Atalanta are not competitive in Seria A this season but they still manage to seal their head in the game when it comes to the conference league. The club need a trophy to booster their performance in other to make them become more tangible. Atalanta are not that bad, they just need to retrace their steps and come back to their feet in other to start winning games. It will take couple of time but they will surely find their stand and become more favorite to win games.

Atalanta are in a bad shape at the moment, in all competitions including their local league, they are struggling and this is affecting the team's performance on every side,

I believe all of this began just after the former head coach , Gasperini left for AS Roma, and the fact that Atalanta had sold some of the players who helped the club in winning the Europa League some years ago.

And now things are getting really bad for the club due to some bad decisions made by the club management team.

What just happened in Gibraltar i just cannot see. Didnt watch the match but for Hajduk Split to lose points here is insane against a team that is much weaker then them. Hajduk Split with a win here could have probobly sealed the playoffs for sure but they didnt. Crvena Zvezda also barely won in the end and even they dont know how they did it.

Swiss Lugano are not slowing down. Today they had their 3rd win, 3-0 over Kauno Zalgiris. This put them in the position of table leader. They are one of the 4 clubs that have 100% win ratio. Their previous opponents were not necessarily the easiest to play against: Crvena Zvezda at home and Getafe away.

But my personal favourite to win the trophy is Brighton. They lost some points to Jablonec in the previous round but bounced back with a 1-0 away win over Getafe.

I have followed their performance in their local league and they are doing quite well there. Wasn’t really paying close attention to them in the conference league but, when I saw the odds bookmarkers left on them, I expected nothing less than a win from them and for tj to score at least an over 1.5 in this game. Good enough, they made it better and even scored an over 2.5, winning both halves.

Brighton on the other hand is one team I don’t underestimate in this league, a lot of teams on here aren’t their match. They didn’t have a good performance over the weekend in their premier league and it’s no surprise they had to make up for that with Getafe. You can always trust them to beat teams below their ratings as I see it now, though a 0:1 goal win here was slim.

Yes, it's a big shame for Hajduk because they have a very tough schedule until the end of this competition and Lincoln was their best chance to win and secure a place in the knockout stage of the competition and maybe even a place in the top 8 teams and a direct place in the round of 16.
According to reports, Hajduk did not play a good game and although they were dominant during the match they created very few scoring chances.
In the end they were punished for their mistakes and lost to a team that only crossed the center of the field a few times and mostly defended the whole game.
You beat the giants Ajax in one game, then you beat Thun away, and then you lose a game like this, only Hajduk can do that.
Lincoln finally beat someone in this competition and will probably be waiting years for another European win.

Getafe was a difficult away fixture, but Brighton managed to secure all 3 points with a single goal and ultimately, that was what mattered. Two strong sides in the Conference League faced off I might have expected a minor surprise from Getafe, but Verbruggen currently one of the most in-form goalkeepers didn’t allow it. In my view, Getafe should have at least managed a draw in Spain. They put in a decent performance, yet the result was a defeat. Having only managed 1 draw from their 3 matches, and considering the Conference League’s short format, it will likely be very difficult for them to advance to the next round.

Yesterday I decided to bet on Ajax to score over 1 goal and Monaco to win. The Ajax bet turned out to be an easy one, but Monaco looked a bit uncertain until around the middle of the first half. However once they scored the opening goal, it was easy to watch the rest of the match. They actually scored two more goals, but both were ruled out for offside. In the end, Monaco won 2–0.
