Does anyone know what happens if the Sharedcoin transaction is cancelled in the process? my browser crashed during a sharedcoin transaction and I'm wondering if my bitcoins are permanently lost. Does anybody know the answer here?

Why dont you try "recover intermediate access" funds in the shared coin, it will help you recovery funds.
