What's highest number of votes poll(s) here have received?

I don't remember a single one crossing 100 votes even, despite plenty users being active on the forum.

The most to my knowledge are in WO thread which is having merely 74 votes at the moment despite it being old as it is and plenty members being active there since time immorial, although it's fact that poll might have become irrelevant shortly after.

Are you absolutely sure this is the poll having most votes? So, I lock the thread cause everybody seems to be offended at my threads these days.

Try using "Total Voters" (there might be better keywords though).

You'll see many polls crossing 100+ voters. Found this one with that.

By what theymos posted, polls were used for decision making then. But it might have been abused now and for every common opinion, poll is created. This could account for the sudden non participation.

This is honestly wild like.... I never knew we had pools that had that much of a vote count plus the most mind-blowing aspect of it is that these are literally very old polls and today where it seems like we have more people around, we barely even get a couple hundred votes on a single poll.

A poll with over 1000 votes is pretty impressive now people even skip polls and go straight to writing on the thread instead plus don't ignore the fact that they are old ones too.

I mean, how hard is it to select one option, and click vote, or is it even bother for people these days? Unless you don't open the thread to begin with or have no idea about poll (that being football for me in poll earlier mentioned), I see no reason to not vote on poll.

So that means over 20k users participated in this particular poll. Seams unbelievable... bots? but how?

At first I thought polls with multiple voting options might inflate the numbers, but that doesn't seem to be the case, since the total votes count exceed 24k.

That's what I found using google Gemini  2968 (now 2970).

So according to Google Gemini, the highest voted polls I could find were same as last three threads **2,970**, **2,853**, and **2,638** votes respectively.


Now I think I know why I couldn't find the first two results.

This is one of those cases where Google—and AI—fails too. 😄

For the first poll, the results can't be viewed unless you've voted (or unless you're theymos 😉).

For the second poll, the results also don't appear to be publicly visible. So from Google's (and AI's) perspective, the **third** poll correctly incorrectly appears to be the most-voted one because it's the highest poll with publicly accessible vote counts.

Cause, obviously poll is locked and results can only be seen upon making a vote... which you can't. If anybody has voted on that poll, they can tell us the number of voters on that poll. Plus, I don't think whether this threads show in Google/AI search results has to do with whether voters are publicly visible or not though I am not sure 100% on this.
