It was reported that the total sum of $300 million was transferred to banks and companies in the United States and this got the US government and agency interested in such financial dealings coming from a national football association of a nation during this world cup and we can see that their matches were been greeted with irregularities which are evidently clear to those who watches and care to know. It may be right it may not be right but there are some possible connections if this case is fully investigated

It’s worth noting that no formal changes have been filed at this point, but the probe remains active.

Argentina is a very good and formidable team but their last match with Egypt seems very strange and questionable and here we see their football body under investigation for transferring a huge amount of money during the world cup for no good reasons. I heard the news a few days ago, and if it is true it will most likely change the course of the football world view towards FIFA. Not only does it damage the reputation but it will also destroy the entire ongoing World Cup journey. You are right. This case is not new as far as  I know. But it has probably been brought up again to  throw the Argentine team into controversy. For me, I think let people don't rush into conclusion saying that the money that is transferred automatically means fraud or match fixing. We all know that huge amount of transfers will always look suspicious, but with a proper investigation it will show if any laws was broken or not. And again the amount and timing can raise alot of questions, but let's keep calm untill authorities releases a clear evidence first, it will be better to separate facts from suspicion. The scandal might be there no doubt about that and investigation is being carried out, but the egypt versus Argentina game should be ruled out in this case, this is because that game was purely on the referee decision for some of the things he did and we clearly saw that there was no much biasness in his judgment. When I first saw the thread title I instantly linked it to the World Cup and how Argentina has been playing and also how referees have been treating them. We came to watch a proper game of football, but the referees have stolen the spotlight by interfering in the game most of the time. In addition, VAR has done more harm than good. By overturning the referee's decision on the pitch, the referees on the pitch no longer have the final say.

 First time I'm reading this though. So I've just got few questions. This investigation is coming up after the Egypt game or has it been ongoing? I don't know how the next person sees it but personally, Argentina has played good football, hustled like every other serious team that has the mind to win.
 It was very clear that since Egypt couldn't get their way and deal with the fact that they lost control of their two goal lead due to overconfidence, they started crying foul play.
It was a clear football game and I'd have to commend the ref who didn't give in to the shenanigans of Mo Salah. It's actually hilarious that all of a sudden an investigation is being brought up after the game, is it that these agencies weren't aware of the $300m preceding the game?
