What Separates Successful Bitcoin Investors from Everyone Else?

‎I have come to realize that not everyone that invested in Bitcoin will achieve the same results or succeed with it. It's not even about how intelligent or knowledgeable you are, or how much you used to invest in Bitcoin. I think it depends on mindset, discipline, and the ability to stick to a well defined plan despite market volatility. Successful investors are those ones that make up their mind that no matter what, they won't touch their Bitcoin because their full focus is on the long term gains unlike  people who are driven by their own emotions during price fluctuations.

‎They become excited when prices rise and become sacred during market corrections. One thing I know that sets a good investors from others is through their conviction built through knowledge and understanding what they own, which gives them confidence and calmness when the market isn't favorable. They don't buy Bitcoin simply because it's trending or because someone on social media said it's the future. When u understand what you are putting your money into, you are far less likely  to react in a negative way because of temporary price swings.

‎A good investor also develops their mindset by knowing that wealth can't be built overnight, that it requires a long process and effort. Instead of chasing market swings they focus on consistent accumulation regardless of the trends in which the market is facing and remain patient and disciplined while holding through different cyclesand keeping a longterm perspective when others lose confidence..

‎ Lastly, in the financial aspect, a good investor uses money that they can afford to lose after sorting out their important needs, they also prioritize in setting up savings for Emergencies, Reserves, short/long term savings( to build house, buy something, education, vacation etc) etc. A good investor also develops the habit of tracking and budgeting their expenses so that they won't overspend , which can affect their investments in the long run.What quality do you think matters most for longterm success in Bitcoin?

You pointed out quite a good point. But there's another thing I would like to point out. In as much as one has set aside funds for emergencies, upkeep, and the rest, also have it in mind that life can happen to anyone. You might lose your job, a very disturbing sickness can affect you, or unexpected issues may arise that will affect your plans, and so on.

So my point here is that the main thing for long-term successful Bitcoin investment is adaptability. And that's where I am driving at. Can someone adapt to any situation that will put him or her off balance in their DCA? That is the main aspect when it comes to the long term.

In this case, we can divide success into two parts, one is success in investment and the other is success in achieving goals. For success in investment, only the ability to hold it in the long term is enough, as the investors of 2011-2015 were successful, at that time, even if you could buy only $ 5-$ 10 Bitcoin and hold it until today, you might be considered a successful investor, because today you might be the owner of millions of dollars in assets.

Success in achieving goals is to set a goal of saving a certain amount of Bitcoin and to keep buying Bitcoin regularly to achieve that goal. Since investing $ 5-$ 10 at the present time is not enough, even if we hold it for a long 10-15 years, we may not get significant profits. Therefore, now to be successful in investment, success in achieving goals is also needed. To achieve this goal, we basically need to be consistent, disciplined, patient and wise. In a long run, the only thing that stands is consistency. When you feel like and don't feel like doing it but you still do it. Over time you can quickly distinguish between a successful Bitcoin investor over everyone else. And that today is getting hard to come by except for this forum. I will like to point out something. When you speak of success through Bitcoin, we should not forget that to be successful in Bitcoin is not by hodlings without selling. You have to take profits at some point.

I do think we over do the idea of holding and thus many new investors get confused about it because they feel like when they take profits they become a bad investor.

 If you have a well defined plan, you have to follow it. It's as simple as telling yourself that once you attain a certain amount of profits from your initial capital, you will not hesitate to sell high and wait to buy low.
