Just a quick one my dear good people of bitcointalk forum, I am teased to create this thread after severally come across threads with the discussions about gamblers recalling their lost bets in other to realize the total sum they have lost in a specific time frame which a period of one year had been a much concern for those raising such topics.
They tends to make gamblers know that if only they would realize how much they looses in a year or so, they would had done something better with it...
I actually think that would be a really useful feature. A lot of gamblers remember their biggest wins, but have a much harder time remembering how much they've deposited and lost over the course of a month or a year.
It could also be a great responsible gambling tool.  That makes much more sense than trying to calculate everything from old deposits and past bets. The only important thing is that players shouldn’t be forced to use it- it should be entirely their choice.

And what would you do with that kind of information and statistics? Would it affect your gameplay if you figure out that year ago you have deposited 50 bucks, lost them in slots (or won and withdrawn)? I dont think that information of past in something that contains luck and random, can work well at current moment. I might be wrong and this feature can be useful, but I dont think people will often use it. Who would wish to refresh memory to remember how much he has lost? (if you say that we remember wins). Do you personally like to refresh memory to remember fails in past?

Gambling history is a fundamental element that every good casino should have; it helps ensure transparency and lets players check their game history as they need. But I believe it would be better to have an optional profit/loss report for a period of user's choosing. However. many players only recall their massive wins and fail to account for their losses over time. Which would be useful to have a proper P/L tracker to make better decisions about their bankroll. Those who don't want to see their results can simply ignore or disable the feature. Providing players with precise information does not promote gambling. It promotes awareness and responsible handling of money.
That's right, gambling history are essential part of a betting platform especially for gamblers who are interested in making good financial management and are conscious with their time spent on gambling. If you use your financial betting history to make your gambling decisions you'll probably turn out to be wiser than those who just gamble because their emotions tells them to. I think it's important to check your history at least twice a year to know if you have to re-strategize.

Most gamblers try really hard to avoiding keeping records of their losses intentionally because keeping records of losses made will help minimize further loss but since some gamblers does not have any intention of stopping the game any time soon, and keep chasing loss such guideline will seem meaningless to them as they just want to be playing aimlessly trying to recover those losses while making more loses and not giving up, if only this feature will be implemented and obeyed by gamblers the rate of addiction and loses will definitely reduce.
