Just a quick one my dear good people of bitcointalk forum, I am teased to create this thread after severally come across threads with the discussions about gamblers recalling their lost bets in other to realize the total sum they have lost in a specific time frame which a period of one year had been a much concern for those raising such topics.
They tends to make gamblers know that if only they would realize how much they looses in a year or so, they would had done something better with it.

I am not opening this thread to create avenue to counter their individual opinions but I am considering the possibilities of the casino platforms having to provide a feature that can store or generates a file that summarizes total bet lost and amount lost at a specific maybe include total profits within a certain period.
Maybe the system should be setup where users can key in the entry period of their past records they want to recall.
What do you all think about this if the innovation is implemented?

In a way this is a very good idea for gamblers who can't keep or track their looses and profit records themselves and if there are provisions made by the casinos board for it then it will be easier for them so they can be updated with what they have lost and see it they can control their gambling habits from what they have observed so far from their looses so I think it's a good idea if it can be initiated and created but on the other hand it can also create chaos and tension on the gambler having realized the amount of losses and money he has spent without winning.

So it's of the advantage and disadvantage to the gambler at the same time but I don't think the casino board will buy the idea of creating such option on the board because we all know they don't do what won't be profitable to them. It will in a way made one to stay in check in other not to loose more if it's implemented.

You can request this via live support since they have complete data of your total wager and PnL. They can give you the whole data while you can tabulate it on excel to get the data that you are looking for on specific time frame.

Casino usually just show our overall progress and I agree to this feature if ever they will implement a time period like our financial statement monthly or yearly basis.

I still believe that even if casinos have this feature to know your net loss and net profit, some gamblers will still ignore it and continue gambling believing they can hit it big. While, for some they will see it as an opportunity to start chasing their losses in order to recover back what they have lost. If you're gambling for fun, you wouldn't care because it's a norm in gambling that you will lose more than you win.

Stake Casino has similar features. When you go to your profile on the casino, you will see an option that says “statistics”. If you click on it, they will show you a rough preview of your recent history, both total lost and total winning. If you request the file, it will be sent to your email with a total breakdown of each of your recent games, amount wagered, profit and loss made on each game and overall rating for that period.

Yes, I also didn’t understand what the OP was missing, since most casinos already have this function implemented. Furthermore, even if there's no detailed betting statistics option, there's always, absolutely always, the option to view your deposit and withdrawal history - all you need to analyze the profitability or unprofitability of gambling. I can't imagine a service where these statistics would not be displayed, since both parties are interested in it for obvious reasons.

But do we really need to deal with those stats? Because for me this will give us stress. I'd rather choose not to track my past losses and profit since for me this is not investment and we are dealing gambling.

Maybe I will just pay attention with other important matter then pay less attention with those matters. I understand that there are people maybe like to see their past stats and its up for them. But if you really want to view your stats you could just click your bet history then try to look those stats which you are interested to see.

Personally, I don’t even see the need why casinos should include such features. Any gambler who’s made more losses than profits would already know without necessarily pulling up those information from the casino. I used to feel too that it’ll be nice to have the information to be able to know whether I’m actually in profit since I started gambling or using that casino, but I got to realize that I’m not actually gambling because of profits, and as long as I’m able to stick to my budget, I wouldn’t have anything to worry about.

Most popular casinos already have statistics features that allow gamblers to track their gambling activity. I think that's enough to help players monitor their gambling habits. If you want to be more specific, I don't think casinos will want to go beyond providing information that generally shows the development of your gambling activity.
If you're not satisfied with the statistics provided by the casino, you can set up your own using a spreadsheet to record details such as your deposits, withdrawals, wins, losses, etc. This can give you the flexibility to analyze your gambling activity over time and customize it to your needs.
