I started using the binance app as of 2019 I have been using it to trade buy cryptocurrencies and even in holdings of coins not until 2023 when I lost my phone and thou I was not having much of cash to get a new phone at that time but after some few months I got a new phone I tried to login to my binance but I couldn’t because their sent an otp code to my gmail and my phone number although I have retrieved my sim but the gmail is the problem I tried but nothing happened I can’t get back my gmail because Google is still sending my gmail otp to that old phone even when I tried to put the gmail in my new phone they are still recommending the previous phone where the gmail have been logged in before and this is really tiring, I brought this here is there anyway I can recover my binance account with the gmail otp

You have only few options here which could be of help to you. First, even without having access to the old phone or mobile number, can you try to gain access to any old device you might have logged in to your email? If there is any of such security from such a device, it won't be like you trying to gain access using your new device.
Another thing, too, is that there is no other email attached or the mail, as recovery email can also be useful in this case.
If you have explored all the options to recover the mail and there is no progress, the next option you will have is to contact the Binance support team. The process might be long, but if you can provide some good information there are possibilities of recovering that account.
I could have asked why you save your holdings on the exchange, but in your case there is also a high chance you might have not backed up your wallet properly, which could also have led to permanent loss of your holdings after you lost access to your phone.

First of all, login to that Gmail on your phone/device. If you have trouble logging in to Gmail or have forgotten your pass code, try using a phone number or Gmail ID that you previously provided as a backup. If that doesn't work, you may have lost your old Gmail account because Google has deleted countless previous Gmail accounts that have not been used for a long time or as a backup have no phone number/another gmail ID added.
To get Gmail back, add a new phone number and recommend Google to give an otp to that number. You may be able to get your old ID back.

From your writing it seems that you need to recover your Gmail account first. If you can recover your Gmail id, you will be able to login to Binance. If you can login to your Gmail account on your phone, you can easily login to Binance by installing the Binance app and using your Gmail id. I hope you understand the matter.

At first you need to restore back your G.mail then log it in on your new phone. After which you can write to Binance about the lose of access to your previous phone regarding your account access. But, currently if you want your account to be retrieved then you have to restore your email first before they could reply to you otherwise they may think is a random user who is trying to get access to the account which may even cause them to have a total lock of the account.

It's either you get access to your Gmail account that receives the OTP to log in to your Binance account, or you go back to the device you used to receive the same OTP. I think the second option is mainly impossible, since you said the device had an issue with you previously.
Now you can see the benefits of not having your kids' or your coins in this regard. Had you been using a non-custodial wallet, it would have been easy for you to import your wallet back on another device using your seed phrase. Not your key is not your coins.

Your best shot here would be to reach out to Binance customer support, that’s if there’s no way you can think of recovering your gmail, because with the way you’re talking, it seems there’s really no way to recover your email. Recovering gmail accounts, especially when the previous device you logged in the Gmail is no longer with you. I have a friend who has also been in this situation before, we literally tried all we could but all to no avail, but her case wasn’t Binance though, it was the Gate.io exchange, and up till today, her funds is still locked in there. But I think Binance is a bit more customer friendly, so maybe they might actually help you out if you contact them.

You can recover your account without your gmail. For example, Binance has a security system through which you can easily recover your account by providing the correct information and your identity. When you give your password to login and when you are asked for the gmail OTP, then at that time you press the Reset Security Verification text and after that you will submit the things that are asked or asked for, then you will definitely be able to recover your account very quickly. But you have to give the correct information, if you cannot give the correct information, then you will never be able to recover it.
Did you use the recovery email when you opened your gmail, for example, if you have given the gmail of someone you know, then you can easily bring the OTP to that gmail. When you send the OTP, you can send the OTP to the SIM by pressing Try another way, because you have been able to recover your SIM.

Binance gives you miltiple choice of recovering your account. I haven't opened my Binance in recent months, but two months ago, I tried to log in. The options were email recovery and passkey. The passkey involves face ID verification after entering your passkey. So if the Binance account is truly yours, you should not have a problem doing face verification on the app. Check for another option and share a screenshot of the options. Let us see how we can help. Because the Binance security system can vary.

Sometimes recovery Gmail is quite difficult than one can imagine, it seems like this was done to limit malicious attacks, since there have been easy access from the past which was really terrible (I can remember one) but still they have to find a way to fix this since genuine users are also unfortunate. It's not like they have deleted such account, the time frame before they do that is longer than tge time Op trid ti access it base on his/her story.

Your problem is not Binace now , it's Google trying to verify trusted device. The old device is trusted over the new and since you enable 2SV, to login to the Gmail will have to verify the old device unless you have other trusted device, if non then sorry its gone forever.
Your best option is binance now , before going any further , contact their support and let them know what's going on incase you start making some un recognised request that could freeze your account. A response from them could also be an offer to help .

Op if their is anyway you can reach out to the Gmail team, I believe it will be very helpful to you. Because sometimes if the lost phone is evenually with someone else and he's still making use of it then that should be the reason for that, I know how stuff like this can be very frustrating. Just try to reach out to them, maybe through their call centre or anyway you can get them I believe their must be a way out.

You're not getting the message - OP is trying to log into his Gmail account from another device but Gmail keep sending the security verification to his old device where the Gmail is logged in. I had the same trouble before but can't remember how I bypassed it. Try log in Gmail website ( not app) Even if you are logged in on main device, if you log in to another device with the correct passcode, you will be able to do so successfully. But on the device where you were previously logged in, two notifications will be sent, one will be "Check activity" and the second will be "Do you recognize this activity?" If the main account person reports the account to Google for account security through the device where you are logged in, in that case, Google may log you out and recommend changing the passcode through the main device. But if no security message is sent to Google from the main device where you are logged in, you can easily carry on activities on another device. Perhaps I have been able to clarify the matter.

Okay i understand you - this one is common and easy to fix but the one OP is referring to is entirely different from what you just explained - if you're logged in on a device for a long time and you try to log in on another device Google would send a 4 digital codes to the old recognized device; it comes as a pop up message ( you can't access the mail without inputting the codes from the old device ) and if you do not longer have access to that device it's extremely difficult to gain access to that mail. I recently disabled that option from my old android device, now I can log my Gmail on any devices with only my credentials.

I sincerely don't know why people still leave funds on their hot wallet when they know they aren't active traders or need the funds almost immediately, because cases like this could arise and even contacting support may take some time before a response is gotten. Still, as you have said, OP can log into another device with his email and password just to get the OTP that is going to be sent and after that, log out and change or reset password so as to be safe. Although having retrieved the SIM card, an OTP can still be sent without any need to fix the Google account first. All he needs to do is to use the Binance built in security verification reset to bypass the old mail and simply link a new one with the following steps: 1. Log in to the Binance app 2. Click on security reset on the 2FA or verification page 3. Select the lost method and choose Gmail 4. Verify via SMS with the retrieved sim card 5. Provide a new Gmail address 6. Complete the ID verification that includes KYC and face verification. You can also visit the Binance app support FAQ support for more details if only you do your research properly. https://www.binance.com/en/support/faq/detail/2de25ddf8c5b4f59adaebe9452f7b64b?hl=en-US#

This an easy to solve problem with Gmail if you registered it with same phone number you went to retrieve the SIM you're talking about. You just enter gmail.com and it takes you where you would be asked to kep it your Gmail address and password, then below you would see FORGOT PASSWORD, click it then it takes you to other options where you can decide to receive an OTP message through SMS to that phone number you retrieved, assuming that was same phone number you used when registering the Google account.

What to actually DO to recover your Binance account Binance has a recovery path for this. Don’t panic. Steps: 1. Go to Binance login > "Forgot password" > "Can’t access email?" 2. Choose "Security verification" → You’ll be asked for: - Government ID + selfie - Proof of ownership: deposit/withdrawal history, trading records, last login date, assets in account 3. Explain the issue: "Lost access to Gmail 2FA due to lost phone. SIM recovered but Gmail still sends codes to old device." 4. Wait for Binance support review. It can take 7-14 days. They will remove the old 2FA and let you set up new email/2FA.
