Buying/selling crypto privately: What's your strategy?

Most of my P2p trades happen on Telegram, and numerous others in open places; restaurants, bars, when selling or buying from a buddy, unfortunately the rates are usually not as beneficial as the rates p2p traders offer in centralized exchanges.

How trustworthy is it for somebody to buy and sell through the p2p without the use of the centralized exchanges. Trading P2P in bars and restaurants? I am just hearing this for the first time for a long time (if I have even come across it before) but this raises my curiosity about it. Is it, you and your client, I know telegram is an highly secretive platform which can be used to carry out p2p transactions successfully like this but my question is how trustworthy is the network of p2p users there, how can you guarantee your funds like the exchanges do using the escrow account to safeguard your money from scammers before releasing your coins.

When it comes to buying or selling crypto, one needs to make sure the trade is performed in the most private way possible. Just to keep governments and prying eyes away. Only for the true paranoid, of course.

There are many ways to buy and sell crypto in a private manner. You can either trade via a DEX, F2F (Face to Face), or even a P2P trading platform. My strategy? I buy/sell BTC through a P2P exchange called Bisq, and convert some into Monero. What's yours?

I also key into using P2P that does not have to go through a centralized platform and this can only be achieved by a decentralized exchange, only that just few people are being found using a decentralized exchange and many are using a centralized one for their P2P which is not safe for us at all, that of the face-to-face P2P would have been advisable but considering the increasing level of wrench attack, I will not go by this idea because it is not necessarily for you to engage in physical appearance before you can make me to be with someone, just in order to have void any physical form of attack.
