I came across this crazy website last night: https://bitcoin-battlefield.pages.dev/
It shows a battlefield that turns the 1-second bitcoin chart into a war between bulls and bears. As the value of bitcoin increases and decreases, the soldiers on the field die and reappear.

You can adjust the music and sound effects to your liking, switch camera angles, zoom in/out, etc. There is also a cinematic view and a chat feature at the bottom right corner.
The website was created by someone called Nick Greenawalt. He has a profile on X.

I like the concept. It is indeed a very creative way of portraying the Bitcoin chart and it makes me wonder what other kinds of ways there are to show the chart? Maybe there are ways to even gamify the chart?

Although interfering would not really work, as the price cannot be influenced by the gamers actions...

What it could influence is maybe the strength of the player's character or something similar? Or boost drops...

I'm just curious where the source is getting its price from? There might be lagging if you need to actually see the outcomes to see the result or something.

This feels like an approach to gamification towards trading.

I have been enjoying this battle for quite some time, the battle was great. The website basically depicts the battle between buyers and sellers in the Bitcoin market and keeps announcing the winning team of the day. For example, today it is giving a warning of the victory of sellers.


I am very interested to see how this battle will be conducted when the market suddenly enters the bull run from bear? Will there be a bombing then? Or a nuclear attack? Maybe we will see a nuclear attack then! Because the red warriors will die very badly and in large numbers.

I doubt if it would be useful for anyone because it is a fun project. No trader would do their analysis from here.

As you said this is just entertainment, so yes this will not be of any use to any trader.

This is a pretty interesting way to visualize market activity. Turning order flow into a battleground makes it easy to see buyer vs seller pressure, especially for beginners.
But in the end, this is just a visualization, not a trading tool. If people start treating it as a signal, that's where the error lies.

Wow, interesting take on the bitcoin price, you know I never thought of it that way but I guess this is a pretty graphic way to represent the bitcoin activity on any certain day. It reminds me of this computer game I used to play as a kid where you would make a base and deploy troops back in the 90s, totally forgot what that game was called somebody help me out lol

I don't know what he is using for the price action. He should have added an "About" tab or something similar that contains that information.

Seems like it's now a thing to release this war charts with slight modifications from the older ones. I just came across another one, different from yours and the one in OP. The graphics is getting better and better.

I sort of like this kind of game because it just make you know exactly what's going on on the market on everyday basis, The idea is very brilliant and it will make Bitcoin lovers get involved because it'd be very vigilant with whatever is happening.  The Nick Greenewalt is a genius, for him to have thought of these. The war between bull and bear is nonstop, so whenever I want to watch how the battle is going, I will just drop by and play a little game.

This is a very creative and brilliant idea that is brought to life and it redefines candle sticks and charts that we would normally employ during day trading or even trying to swing trade.

A real time animation view definitely makes trading feels more interesting than just charts would. He even included sound effects, camera controls and chat features to make it more realistic.
During price swings an sure the experience would get all the more interesting than this and am sure this is going to become more popular soon for those who do well with animation educational presentation that makes trading looks more like a gaming experience rather than charts which makes it look more mathematically and statistically serious.

I dont think professional traders would use that though, its more of a novelty really, I played
around with it for a while but thats about it. Might be nice to have on a second screen perhaps.

It would be actually interesting to see the carnage on the run up to the next ATH and likewise
when the market is crashing hard!

No serious trader will use this for anything. It's not meant to be a tool for technical analysis and predicting price movements. It shows things that have already happened.
I am not overly thrilled with the way the values are moving to be honest. The price tends to get stuck in my experience.

It can't be that smooth. I expected that even before opening the site. It is not good except as a fun way to visualize the market. It can be changed into anything funny too, which would require less animation. That's how we can see less jitteriness.

You can't play. You can only watch the battle unfold in front of your eyes and move around the battlefield. The action happening there correlates with bitcoin's real price swings, which you and me can't affect just like that.

I know, dear, we can't play. He mentioned if we can play a game, I said we can't play because it is not a game but a gamified visualization of the trading chart. However, with proper implementation, it could be improved for demo trading or backtesting strategies.
