No, i don’t ever feel that way… This is gambling we are talking about, not a business or some venture where if you don’t show up for a day, you could miss a big opportunity.. That is a mindset that could keep people trapped in gambling..

Being consistent does not pay in gambling.. What helps is understanding that nothing is guaranteed.. There is not a must play day where you are destined to win. Once you accept that, it becomes much easier to control yourself instead of feeling like you are missing out every time you skip a bet..

No not at all, I have my gambling rules and one of the rules is that when there's no money in my gambling bankroll I will forget about gambling for the day/ week I don't force myself to gamble when I don't have money in my gambling bankroll. You know whenever I'm trying to develop such feeling, I will ask myself that in all day it is only today that I decided not to gamble that I would miss out something? Nah! That's not true. The reason why some gamblers find it hard to overcome this temptation is because they don't ask themselves this question instead they just follow Thier instinct without giving it a second thought.

The truth is no, I've learned that if I don't bet and stop missing an opportunity, then a better opportunity will open up for me to make another bet, much better and superior. That's basically what makes the difference. We can't feel like that, we can't feel that anxiety, which is not good at all. That's why we must be more consistent in everything that has to do with these guidelines.

I remember feeling that way back then whenever I had a successful run and multiplied my deposit. I eventually got over that wall once I went back to the hobbies that I enjoyed before I got into gambling.

This might not be the best way for everyone, but in my case, it was finding something else that I enjoy. It's like that one gambling ad, there will be a point when it's not fun anymore, and if you overlook that part, then that's on you.

Also, that depends on the person, because some would rather refuse a helping hand despite struggling in their daily lives.

I feels that but I don't feel missing out if I don't placing bet that particular day. If your friend addicted to gambling, he will not miss any bet on the sports he like but he will make sure that he set the alarm and bet. He know that if he miss the bet, he will regret and can't leaves it.

I don't know that makes people getting addicted or not, they have their own reason without explains to us. But if he feels that he doesn't want to miss one bet and will make sure placing his bet, he may addicted and he needs to realize that immediately before late.

They can try that to see the effect to them. If that can reducing their addiction, that is good so they can continue until they can cure the gambling addiction.

Sometimes I could be busy with work for weeks or months without having any proper time to gamble but that doesn't means that I don't have the desire to gamble during those time when I'm busy with work but I just have to choose what's more important over what's less important at that moment, I think it's my self control habit and also fact that I don't take gambling as a source of income, that's why I don't actually feel like am missing anything significant if am not gambling. If it's trading, I know I normally feel like am missing out on the big moves in the market any week that I don't have time to look at the chart.
The truth is that you say, when we have never done gambling then most likely we will have a sense of wanting to do it again and this can appear at any time even when it is not right even if we are working. Here we just need to be able to distinguish or prioritize which things are more important as you say, by we can distinguish which things are more important this means we are wise in making decisions because it is impossible that gambling is more important than work.

Right, and a lot of people don't catch or observe it early until its too deep, as it put them in a situation that it will cause stress all because they want to make sure they bet a particular game, forgetting that in gambling anything can happen in the next minute and some people won't still that coming until they have fall into the pit that might make to act in a way that might lead them to more destruction, that will mess their lives up and affect them in a way they didn't expect.
Sometimes, what often lead gamblers into these kind of conditions is overconfidence. When a gamble is feeling too confident about a particular game and they fail to realize that nothing is certain as far as gambling is concerned and things could go south at any point in time just as you rightly said. The worst thing that can ever happen to any gambler is making a decision without actually thinking about the potential risks too, and this often where most gamblers miss it,
Indeed, this excessive self-confidence becomes an encouragement for players to continue gambling even though they have experienced a losing streak. The problem lies in the mindset because those who are too confident can think positively with gambling can then get a win when there is no clear certainty that they can get a win by continuing to gamble again and again. And taking decisions without really thinking about the potential risk is also a natural thing because it is a stronger sense of confidence that drives them so it is not strange that they dare to make decisions without considering it first and maybe even this happens to other things besides gambling.

It’s not as if it’s bad for gamblers to be optimistic about their bets. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the moment what was meant to be mere optimism begins to build some level of confidence in that person, then this becomes a problem, because such gambler begins to have some kind of entitlement and unrealistic expectations which of course as we know it are capable of pushing gamblers into making several wrong choices, most times not just because they wanna win along, but because they wanna prove a point.

For me, people can be divided into two categories adults and children. This classification has nothing to do with biological age. It's about a person's ability to make decisions, control their actions, and take responsibility for themselves and the people close to them. Those who gamble and repeatedly cross the line, believing that one jackpot will solve all their problems, are acting like children. They need to develop a more mature mindset. The principles of responsible gambling are well known. The real challenge isn't knowing the rules, it's choosing to follow them in real life.

Yes almost everyday when I browse my socials and seeing my feedback with countless wins. Like today I saw a post with $0.54 money left and still been able to win. Also a less than $10 funds or last money able to grab more than $10k winnings. Sometimes we felt what if we did play or bet on the hint that we might be able to win something? And tomorrow we see that it was indeed a missed opportunity right?

Its real, it happens to me often,  whenever I didn't play this online code, it will play and whenever I play it will cut me, at times I'll regret why I didn't play it, that's gambling for you,  you don't have to remain consistent in gambling, because winning isn't guaranteed,  is only addicted gamblers that play everyday just to chase losses as you said about your friend.

If you play every codes posted on line by any prediction sites on a daily you will ruin your finance, it's wise not to play their games daily, even if they win without you, just ignore and stay focus on other things,  gambling shouldn't be a place you visit daily, irs destructive in nature. How can you be addicted to something you lose more than you gain, is not a thing to be proud of.

The betting world is so saturated these days that you can find good games throughout the entire season. So, thinking that you're missing out if you don't place a few bets is pointless. Almost every weekend, there are several good matches to bet on. So I certainly don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by not betting, especially since I think it's important for any bettor to take a few weeks off to avoid becoming overwhelmed.

Technically, yes. But as a gambler, that feeling is inevitable because, like me, for example, I bet on sports. Sometimes I don't bet and regret it because exactly what I expected happened, and it feels not to bet on that event or that day. But yeah, the regret isn't too big, and worst case it leads to some tilt bets Cheesy.

For the casino, I never had this feeling because it's just random and anything can happen. Casino regrets are mostly about not betting more when I hit a big multiplier. Like, I am betting $1 and not hitting anything, then I lower the bet and immediately hit 63x or 500x on Keno; that makes me mad for a bit. But the feeling and tilt is not permanent and it goes away quickly.

Have you ever on your own feels that today or tomorrow that is a better day for you that you feels like you could be missing out something important for not placing bet that particular day?
Okay, a frown of mine who is a gambling addiction keeps saying that if he didn’t place a bet for any particular he feels like he is losing so he must find a way out to make sure he places a bet just to make sure he didn’t missed out that particular day not to gamble. But then, something very important and interesting struck into my mind that could it be the reason why most people especially those who are addicted keeps getting addicted or what?

However, can this thought be controlled by them, and don’t you think if they can control this urge then it is also very possible to control addiction.
What are the best ways to make sure they didn’t have this feeling keeps ringing into their hearts; for me I feels they should also be that concerned and connects themselves with something more better so that they wouldn’t be that having that feelings and mindset to keep gambling at all time. Do you think this approach could help out to those who are already suffering addiction?

Share your thoughts and opinions.
I have seen a situation where a guy knew how bad his addiction was but couldn't stop because he claimed that if he stopped then all of his losses would have been for nothing, he said he was going to keep gambling until he hits it bag and goes home with a win that will make up for all of his losses and still set him up good for life, it was an unbelievable situation but it was what happened, of course he hasn't had any such win as far as I'm concerned, I heard he doesn't gamble as much any more, his wife threatened to leave him and that give him a new perspective on things, he is trying to get his life back in order now but it might take a while before he can leave gambling completely if at all.

Your friend has fallen victim to a common gamblers' error. They begin to think if they quit they are giving up all their winnings before and they will continue to go for the big win to make it up to them. This attitude typically results in more losses, in fact. That his wife intervened and offered him a second chance to reconsider his actions is likely the reason he hasn't gone further. You don't have to miss a day because of a gambling day. There's always another game tomorrow but money, relationships and peace of mind are much harder to come back from once it's gone.
He is slowly but gradually getting his life back in order, hopefully he doesn't slip back to gambling as hard as he used to, I can't say he has stopped completely but the wife hasn't complained in a while so that's a good sign at least.
Gamblers should try to always keep themselves in control, the moment the game starts to control us we will lose ourselves to it and coming out from thet kind of an addiction isn't always an easy task, it's practically impossible for most to be able to do it even with help.

I do not feel such way ,I only gamble when I feel like doing it ,having such mindset has lead so many people into addiction,I also have a friend who makes sure he gamble everyday ,if he doesn't gamble for a particular day ,he feels ,he has missed out a winning,so he constantly gamble, now he is chasing loses unknownly to him , sometime I see punters on Twitter who post games for there followers ,and I have been opportune to win something from there several times ,but the losing rate is more than the winning ,so many times I don't play there game ,but I just realized that anytime I don't play there games they usually win , whenever there is a community win and I'm not among ,I always feel miss out ,but that has not made me to gamble anytime they post a game .

oh god, if you have to make sure you play every day it becomes worse than a prison, a kind of forced labor this is not happiness this is really a kind of prison
a very famous writer said this, his name is Silvano Agosti and he wrote a very beautiful book in Italian, i recommend it to you: "Letters from Kirghisia". It talks about the fact that if we are forced to do something, this something becomes horrible.

So true and that's the worst thing about gambling. You don't realize when this habit becomes an addiction and that addiction is leading you into depression, where you stop enjoying things that you were before you got into gambling. I've gone through this entire thing, so I can confidently say that it's perhaps one of the worst feelings when you are stuck in a gambling loop. All you can think about is gambling, trying to find some more money to gamble again.

The problem with the helping hand is that a person addicted to gambling always wants to come out of the hole by gambling more and winning, which never happens, and on the rare occasion when it happens, then you start wanting to gamble more since you just won. The cycle only ends once you visit a psychiatrist and treat it seriously.

Your points are quite agreeable. The point of making mistakes is simply to learn from those mistakes, but in a situation where a person repeatedly makes the same mistakes and keep suffering the same fate without even learning from them, then they’re simply behaving childish, because only children literally behaved in this manner, it mostly requires constant discipline and correction to make children actually learn and avoid making those mistakes, which shouldn’t be the same for adults.

I've never felt something like that. But I think what you are describing is a mix of FOMO and the gambler's fallacy. He probably thinks gambling is like a pattern. The more you lose, the sooner the win will come. And he just wants to be there when his fortune finally comes. Like, "Today could be the day I win" feeling.

However, gambling is not like a pattern. All outcomes are random and not dependent on other outcomes.

It's difficult to change people if they, as the subject themselves, don't want to change. Changing people's mindset takes time. The best I can recommend is to find other activities that can make him skip gambling. If it doesn't work, then it's better to find professional help.

In my opinion, gamblers will only change by themselves when a significant life event strikes them. It could be about themselves or someone close to them. It could be anything. I'm not limiting it to death, just something significant enough to make them seriously rethink their behavior Cheesy

Yes you are right. Their are more other ways of imprisoning ourselves without noticing it and persistent gambling without taking a break is one of it. Perhaps, some of us may be ignorant that such feelings about gamble can be as a result of so many signs like addictions, desperation , lose chasing and if we fail to fix it by abstaining from such ridiculous mindset in our gaming streak then the outcome of such decision can be very unpleasant which is the fact.
