I built a small free calculator for checking Bitcoin solo mining odds before buying or tuning hobby miners like a Bitaxe, NerdMiner, USB stick miner, etc.
The main thing I wanted was a simple way to connect hashrate, difficulty, power draw, electricity cost, expected time, yearly probability, and hardware payback in one place.
Example: a Bitaxe Gamma around 1.2 TH/s is technically capable of finding a block, but the expected time and yearly probability make it clear this is lottery mining / learning hardware, not a guaranteed profit machine.
