I would not really focus on "gambling issue" because even if you "fix" it... there is something more that must be addressed.

I'd say this story resembles a classic scam, where a woman (or posing as a woman) uses various pretexts (deception) to extort money from men (or women). The most surprising (and logically incomprehensible) thing is that her "victims" handed her large sums of money.

For me this is worse than gambling addiction. Her attitude is beyond comprehension of a mere human being. What worse is she knows wht she was doing. Like her goal is to literally scam many man by the means of marriage. What I did confuse here is how she do it without being comprehended early on.

This one is more than an online romance scam; it’s real life. The courage she has to get marriage certificates for all 14 husbands is something out of this world. She was just treating all of them as ATMs to pay for her gambling and other expenses, and how she was able to remain married to most of them till the day of her arrest needs to be questioned, and if the police had not arrested her, the list could have been longer, as the report said she was arrested at the meet-up point with her and her potential husband.

I don't get surprised anymore  from report of issues that are link to gambling, the moment you become a chronic gambling addict, you tend to lose your self and you could do anything just to fund your gambling lifestyle. There are stories that will feel unbelievable until you verify it and realize it was as a result  of gambling. Honestly  gambling addiction is a serious matter of concern and it's really dealing with many youth out there, they only wear fake smiles and pretend as if everything is fine.

This woman story isn't also a surprise to me as well, like I said gambler are alway aiming at a big win, I guess she was probably thinking she could pull a win and have a settlement between the 14 different husbands involved if there are legal documents of marriage, but I'm still curious to know how she manage to marry that number  of husband and not being caught.

This is probably one of the craziest things I've ever seen an addicted gambler do. I've seen addicted gamblers do almost anything, even spending money that wasn't theirs. But marrying 14 men just to get money and sustain her gambling habit? That's unbelievably crazy.

How can someone give another person 40,000 dollars? Yes, it was his wife, but damn, how can you throw money away like that? Forty thousand dollars is a huge amount of money, and I think almost everyone on the forum would agree with me, because in many countries you could buy a very luxurious home for that amount. Women can have as bad gambling addiction as men. This woman is Chinese, and gambling seems to be pretty widespread among Asian people. This is a cautionary tale about why you should never trust your significant other, especially when she asks you to give her money.
