Choosing which team will be the champion in this year's world cup is really quite difficult, because the 4 remaining teams are currently the favorites to win, even before this competition started these 4 teams have been talked about a lot, but if you look at their journey from the beginning to the semi-finals, then saying Francis is the team that is closer to winning it is something that many people will agree, they have performed amazingly, their performance is consistent. Maybe Francis will win the title, and I want them to meet England in the final later.

That's true France is favorite to win if we look at Tyler performance from group stage to this point, they've been good, they have all it takes to win this world cup again,  except they're not luck,  most times the best team lose to lesser team in football.

Spain is another great test for France,  both are very good, if you loo at head to head in their previous matches Spain is ahead of France, they have won France in their two previous matches,  its up to France to revenge tomorrow. 

Argentina vs England , this is the very top rank game for Argentina in this tournament, they really have to show up in this game, England is a very good side and they can make it difficult for Argentina.  To me I want Spain vs England in the final, I don't want France vs Argentina again.

That is also my pick for the Finals, I’m expecting a very strong and exciting game, most particularly in the Semifinals is going to be a very strong and exciting games, I’m expecting France and England to progress in this games, there is going to be a very strong and high technicality play in the games, but the best teams are going to be winning the Semifinals, but I’m seeing games going to extra time, where this games are going to be determined by who scores there penalties, whoever that is going to score there penalties and goalkeeper being a hero, because we would definitely have a fun packed games, which I think is going to be decided on Penalties.

It is really difficult to predict who will actually go to the final. But I think England and Spain are more likely to go to the final. Argentina has been playing well in all the last matches but they have not been able to show a performance to beat England so far. And France will not be able to break Spain's defense with counter attack. Spain will play France with enough dominance. So I think Spain and England will play the final. And if Spain can go to the final then they can win the World Cup. But England's biggest talent is their goal scorers. Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Jude Bellingham can give enough good finishing.

I thought that Argentina is the slight favorite against England? But I might be wrong, in any case if there is bias towards Argentina because of whatever reasons they maybe they could win their match against England.

After rewatching those match and highlights over and over again, the same way the referee will judge other team is the same way they judge in those Argentina match. Hardly have I even seen any bias in Argentina match. Hater just would say anything to make theriself feel good. And the four teams are good. don't think there is any underdog amongst them. The four teams are even the top four of Fifa World Cup ranking. The match between them is gonna be tough and exciting to watch. That's a choice, of course everyone who wants to place a bet on the 2026 world cup final, they have reasons to believe that these two countries are worth betting on, that makes sense.

In my view France and England have star-studded players especially they are actively playing football in Europe's top leagues, the reason could be one of the confidence of people to place bets on them and so are other reasons, factors.

But it needs to be underlined that this world cup, in my view, is a little different from previous world cups, getting to the final is very tough, Even though currently the majority of French and English are the favorites for most gambling bettors, for that reason we all have our own choices of course for the best.

Honestly, I can't make any predictions rn on the semi finals, the games are really unpredictable, any thing can happen but I'm rooting for Argentina anyway.

I know a lot of people are agitated with the accusations going around on how FIFA is favoring Messi; maybe it's true, maybe it's not, but either way, I still love Messi and I still want to see him win again.

I initially wanted CR7 and the Portugal team to win it this time around because of how there is this criticism on him and how they're looking down on him for not winning the world cup, it's really disheartening how they dismiss his greatness because of the world cup.

In as much as I would want Messi to win it again, I feel that he won't. Anyway, let's see how it goes.

All of what you pointed out happened a really long time ago, there I no reason to still be comparing both teams with those stats, it's not the same team, it definitely isn't even the same players so just because Argentina seemed better then doesn't mean they are still better now, at this point any of them can win against each other, if Argentina plays better then they will win if England plays better they will win too, it's up to them to give it their best.

Same thing happened in the prediction market, especially on Polymarket. France is still people's favorite to reach the final. However, the implied probability of England, Spain, and Argentina is almost at the same level. France is just too dominant based on the implied probability in the prediction market.



Not sure why Argentina's odds keep dropping, while England's keep rising. Spain remains stable somehow.

Maybe it's based on Argentina's path to the semifinal, where they haven't faced a big European team yet, so people are still doubting Argentina in this Argentina against the European giants scenario.

The majority maybe correct but the final between Argentina and Spain can be a better one despite all the bad things people are saying about Argentina lately. Spain has a very difficult game and the fact that they struggled a lot against Belgium means that is highly likely they are getting eliminated from France tomorrow. you will be surprised that a lot of the people that are writing of Argentina from the finals are doing so not just because they are feel that Argentina can not win and proceed to the finals, their main reason is because they don't even want Argentina to get to the finals. football can be really crazy because at the end of the day, we will likely see France playing Argentina in the finals  because England might be strong but don't have that tenacity that Argentina has.

I agree. Superstars are playing in their respective teams, and I bet it will be a really surprising end for many football fans. I mean, any prediction can come true, and any team that is left can actually win the World Cup.

Well, I already placed my bet for Argentina weeks ago while it was still at x9.00 in Outrights. So, I will be rooting for Messi all the way, and I hope he wins this. I am not a big football fan, but I am sure that I will be happy if I win that money.

With what France is playing i do not think they can win the world \cup unless they play with Argentina again in the finals because the previous was a luck for Argentina that was on the second half though because the first half France did not play anything but the second half was very hot for Argentina. if France play England in the finals i do not think it will be possible for France to defeat them but i still feel that Spain is going to defeat France in the semi finals if they do not take time and England may also kick Argentina out.

I'm surprised that the people are picking France as the favorite and Spain as the underdog. The game is 50/50 and chances are equal. The same applies to England and Argentina. Past match results between any of the four national teams have nothing to do with the upcoming semifinals. We could see a France-England final, a Spain-Argentina final, a Spain-England or France-Argentina final. These four teams are the best in the world and there's no clear favorite. It seems to me that the national team of France is a bit over-hyped and such teams usually fail to win the trophy in the end.

I have a feeling that France would win the world cup but I'm not really sure about that because there other teams that are contending for the world cup as well. From the performance of Argentina in their last match it Is obvious that they are getting exhausted, they barely won the match but this isn't the same thing that I would say About France last match because they did quite well. They have more chances of doing better than England but at the end of the day anything can happen, the world cup is very difficult to predict.

I have the same feeling as well. France has scored a total of 16 goals in 6 games. Averaging 2.67 goals per game. Eventually, France will go to the final, which I think they will. It will be for them to win if they score 3 goals in the final.

Argentina have come this far with the help of Messi. I don't think Argentina will win the final if they get to the final. Messi is already looking weak. Defenders have learnt how to shut him down in games.

The four remaining teams are very strong teams, and as it is now, we really can not tell who will win the trophy, but there has to be a winner. They are amazing teams with good skills its just that Argentina started with some kind of FIFA favouritism, which was speculated around from what they perceived to be going on from live matches, but I think Argentina got good players outside the speculations of FIFA favouritsm and I pick them to meet with France the finals.

I am rooting for Spain to win France, but I can see the kind of mountain they need to climb to do that. Stopping that French attack would require a whole lot. Spain has the better defence and midfield, but their attack has not been impressive. On the other hand, France's attack is the best in the World Cup, and their defence and midfield are not bad either.

They came from behind and struggled to win Congo, struggled to win Mexico and also struggled to win Norway. So we can't comfortably say England has been the better team in this tournament.

These countries playing in the FIFA world cup 2026 semi final stage have really done well in this FIFA world cup tournament, and any of them that didn't scale through this stage should not look at it as incompetency, because is a stage where one team must drop for the other one to go to the final stage. So at this point, it is now a thing of competency, and luck.
Honestly, these remaining countries are poised for the final stage of this competition FIFA world cup tournament 2026, and non should be despised.
In the last world cup tournament, Argentina gained victory over France, and today the two countries have reached semi final stage, so any thing can still happen despite what the crowd is saying.
Spain, and England are also fit, and ready , but in my own opinion, since Argentina is the defending champion, the trophy should go to either France, England or Spain.
