It can't. There will always be scam airdrop, and it's your responsibility to filtering it. It's also the reason to always double check the link before participate in anything. Doing copy paste, then put it on the search bar to know whether it's legit or not is important.

There are so many scammer these days are targeting your wallet even by launching the fake airdrop. So as an airdrop participant, you have responsibility to the project you will be participating with.

Airdrop has become one of many ways for scammer to misled people and scam them out of their money and airdrop actually has become pretty rare these days, always be alert.
More than that, nobody is handing out free airdrop easily at the point it isn't worth anymore. You better off trading or doing anything that could generate real profit than hoping for an airdrop.

That's definitely not possible, and it's a fungus. In the Metamask wallet, especially on the Bep20 network, quite a lot of them appear without us realizing it, entering without confirmation.

In the past, people didn't think much of gas fees as a red flag when they're demanded but now they do. I paid for such in the past and I got some of the coins airdropped to me. Sadly, most of them turned nothing. In today's reality, I won't do such. In fact, I stopped chasing airdrops two years ago or so. It's a waste of my previous time and resources.

What comes to mind with this question of yours is the inevitability of good and evil in man's life. Whether we like it or not, both must exist. Fake will always be there. The era of genuine airdrop rewards is truly gone so don't put your hope in earning guaranteed reward when farming for Airdrops because scammers have infiltrated the airdrop system and that is why many of them are a waste of time. But some people never learn they will keep hunting for airdrops and would do everything they're told and at the end of the day there won't be any meaningful rewards instead they will be scammed. I don't think that anybody can stop scam in airdrop same way nobody can stop scammings online and offline, what you have to do is be informed to avoid being scammed, try to protect yourself as much as possible. Most experienced crypto users already know that there is no free money in the crypto market and for a project to want to give out free money it meant that you should be ready to accept whatever that they offers, and now we see that most altcoins projects are spotted scams who need people to spread they scam around with their airdrop tasks, but after then it ends they, and some gullible ones even go as far as investing their money into the airdrop as you said.

It is really very hard to find a good airdrop on Telegram again. Most of the airdrops coming from Telegram end up being fake. I have participated in many Telegram airdrops, but I ended up regretting it because some of them requested money to complete certain tasks before someone would be eligible. In the end, the person still might not qualify, or the project might not even launch.As we participate in airdrops, we need to be careful and think wisely. Otherwise, we may fall victim to scams. We should always do proper research so we can differentiate between fake airdrops and genuine ones. That way, we won't waste our time waiting for rewards and end up losing money to fraudulent projects

We have to look at the reason shitcoins and those airdrops were create in the first place if we want to know their chances of getting cleaned up. Shitcoins are mostly created by scammers who want to enrich themselves through cryptocurrency. They don't care about the growth and prospect of the shitcoins they create and as long as they can find the right words to convince people to buy into whatever they created, they are good to go. So failure is not just one of the options for those projects, it is the only option. The same goes for airdrops that we are seeing now, they create them to farm engagement, build community and then dump on the people.

I struggled to understand how you came to a conclusion that it was fake. They requested for a fee and token code and ?..., not sure if I got that right. But anyways, Airdrops, especially the ones we have today, are mainly scams. It doesn't matter if they request for gas fees or not, they just turn out to be useless after a while, and some of them don't even give a good first impression from start. And as for the question, you have understand that the system isn't regulated. No one controls or regulate who gets to release a project and who should not. It's the Job of everyone to protect themselves and not be a victim. Any decision to chase after these weird projects, is clearly a case of risk, and the risk taker must bear whatever comes after that.

That investing little to get the airdrop token pattern seems not to be much active again for them. The one I usually see more often now is distributing some worthless tokens which they listed on a dex set the slippage at a much higher level which they can charge the users as much as they want each time they try to swap the token.

Yes, as that is what they are told from beginning that airdrops are free money, you just have to do some tasks and get it your wallet, then withdraw to Fiat. Of course, that is what it was before untill the dynamic of airdrops changed to using money to interact with the project mainnet and get based on the percentage of your capital.

These newcomers are still drawn to the old method of doing airdrops and then, suddenly will get trap into paying to claim token.

You won't blame them for doing that, like blaming them for putting in money into likely to be a scam project. Yes, they are gullible and never know exactly what they are doing, the excitement of becoming more profitable plus the promise made by these teams behind the project gives them drives them crazy. I've been there, I can relate.

But, overall, there is nothing you can do about it, it's not never going to stop any day.

The simple answer is that they can never be deleted or gone because airdrops used to be authentic and provided good service but scammers have turned it into a fraud trap. However, it is a relief to see that you did not end up getting hurt. You have to be aware of your personal side because scammers have become much smarter due to which they create fraud traps in a way that is not understandable when you look at them normally. Currently, airdrops have no value, so if you pay attention to these, you should stay away from them and you will not be a victim of fraud in any way.

Too many people fall for it because before crypto people fell for these things anyways. I think it was not really that shocking, it was always known and we knew that shitcoins were shitcoins but there are people who fell for scams before crypto too, scam is not a brand new thing that came out with just crypto, people fell for scams for centuries, it's not new.
