I wanted to write this topic earlier but it often slips my mind. So yeah we can all agree that having knowledge in this crypto space is everything but then one thing we should always remember is that having knowledge does not guarantee that you will make profits from your investments or your trades. I'm not saying having knowledge is bad in fact, it's a must if you indeed want to increase your chances of thriving as a crypto enthusiast. But then we have to be real with ourselves. Folks often study how the market works, learn to read charts, price movements, patterns, and follow up on the latest news, yet still end up losing trades or even panic and sell their investment when the price falls below their buying price.

Check out this image of December 2024. Bitcoin dipped and the vocal traders the ones doing all the analysis were all panicking.

That said the knowledge was there, but emotional control wasn't.this can happen in all markets not just crypto/ bitcoin alone. Events like This often happens because the crypto market is very  unpredictable, and price is driven by various factors that go way beyond our understanding and knowledge as crypto enthusiast. The reason is because of the high level of volatility even if you understand the technology behind a coin like BTC, ETH, and so on, when events like fake news, social media hype, government regulations, or unexpected market panic occurs, price can immediately crash in minutes, even with your well thought out analysis. As market sentiment outweighs our technical knowledge, price can often move in a way that our analysis and predictions could prove futile in seconds..
Overall knowledge is very important in this space eg your strategy, psychology and risk management .in fact you can't do without it but still, it can never 100% certainly guarantee profit to anyone because the market continues to evolve, and we can too by making changes to our analysis and build stronger emotional stability If we want to achieve our goals as a traders or investors. That's all.....

I get your point, you will even be seeing traders and analysts making different analyses, this is what I have noticed since I know about cryptocurrencies. Also yourself may not know where the market direction will be going but you can begin DCA when the price of bitcoin dip significantly which is the best and I have confirmed this to be true.

Sure, nothing does guarantee success in this world, Knowledge won’t, emotional intelligence won’t and even strategies won’t, you just have to try and hope you succeed.

That’s why you can’t be 100% confident about succeeding in your investments, I understand having a positive mindset is really important and good but atleast since its investment and it involves risks, you can’t be sure you’re definitely going to succeed.

And one more thing about it is the fact that you can’t accurately time the market, that’s the mistake some people make, the believe they can time the market with their analysis and technical knowledge but it ends up disappointing them.

Nah true talk you write for here. Sometimes, the market go throw you curve ball and all the knowledge and experience you think say you don accumulate go vanish but at the same time nah still the level of experience and patience wey you get go make you handle some market trends with little panic unlike person wey no get much knowledge about am at all.
Crypto trading no be small pikin play so once you understand say a time fit come when things go dey so bad to the point of you forgetting how things dey be, e go help reduce the shock.

Yes you are absolutely correct crypto is one thing that you can do everything right and still lose, or do everything wrong and still win short time, that is why is can frustrate your life.

Knowledge won't guarantee you win.but lack of knowledge almost guarantee you lose.
Most people who fail in crypto don't fall because of lack of knowledge the fall from leverage no plan.
