Satoshi created it, but he is not the owner or the sole controller of it.

After creating Bitcoin, he gave up control and handed over the operation of the network to the community.
You wanted to say something for defending Bitcoin but you said it wrongly.

Satoshi Nakamoto has never controlled Bitcoin blockchain. Since the Bitcoin protocol, Bitcoin Genesis Block, this blockchain was programmed by Satoshi Nakamoto in a decentralized development way.

Satoshi Nakamoto left the community, no longer contributed development for Bitcoin but even before that day, he has never controlled Bitcoin.

There is only one posibily way to destroy Bitcoin, and may be only the creator santoshi Nakamoto can destroy Bitcoin but anything other than that will be a hard quest to accomplish.

Bitcoin's decentralized nature stems from its protocol and network. Satoshi's leaving only reinforces that point, but it's not the reason Bitcoin became decentralized.

Bitcoin has off switch, no central server and no one has any special power. So even if Satoshi came back and for whatever reason wanted to shut Bitcoin down, he simply could not.

Bitcoin is not immortal, and as much as there is government determination and collaboration it can get destroyed but the chances of this I very unlikely to happen ever.

But I agree on this point. Bitcoin is not immortal. Its existence depend on the community trust. If Bitcoin ever loses that trust, it could eventually fade away.

Bitcoin has never been controlled by Satoshi Nakamoto right from the first day that he created Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created in such a way that it's needs no control from anyone. The bitcoin protocol is set up in such a way that it's the Bitcoin community that has control over Bitcoin ecosystem.

And that is why Bitcoin will not be destroyed by anyone, decentralization is one key thing that has set Bitcoin apart all these years.

With what can Satoshi destroy it? even though Satoshi was the one who designed Bitcoin, he didn't have anything in his hands to destroy it. Even if he comes back, he can't do anything about Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is not centralized, where he can destroy it as he pleases. Bitcoin is no longer dependent on him or anyone else, so it basically cannot be destroyed.

Satoshi created it, but he is not the owner or the sole controller of it.

After creating Bitcoin, he gave up control and handed over the operation of the network to the community. Bitcoin is now powered by a network of millions of participants around the world, and Satoshi is simply one of them.

If Satoshi had the ability to shut it down whenever he wanted, then it would not be considered a decentralized system.
Yes satoshi nakamoto was the creator of Bitcoin but right now he does not have the control over Bitcoin, even him cannot destroy Bitcoin or do anything that will make bitcoin to get destroyed forever, Bitcoin has already gotten what actually is deserved to get which is the support of majority and with this support bitcoin will keep growing bigger and better.
You are correct satoshi himself has given up on Bitcoin, I believe he did that so that bitcoin can be a real decentralized coin that can't be controlled by anyone.

You are right. I was wrong about that. He created Bitcoin, but never really controlled it. From day one, Bitcoin has relied on network consensus, not a single individual. However, Satoshi decision to voluntarily leave the project instead of continuing to lead the community was a turning point.

That decision helped Bitcoin avoid dependence on a single entity and further strengthened its decentralized nature.

It is true that many are distracted with so many altcoins and that's why instead of them investing and looking to have more bitcoin, they don't.

Because the altcoins have changed their minds specifically those who are being hyped by good marketers. Thinking that bitcoin doesn't have that multiplier anymore for the profits they want to make.

They don't want the slow but sure approach anymore in this market so, people are so distracted with the disbelief of investing to shitcoins.

I love the number 4 the most, number 4 exists because of number 5. Because people treat Bitcoin as just a digital investment tool, they encourage people to buy and hodl to make profit disregarding it as money, but this too isn't necessarily an attack on Bitcoin if I must say.

Well, I do have a little criticism on some of your points especially the one saying centralized institutions came in to control the market. That's not completely true, individuals still hold large portions of Bitcoin source. Without most of these centralized institutions, Bitcoin wouldn't be as widely used and accepted as it is today. There are so many users out there treating Bitcoin as a security asset, using it for features and spot trading, these CEXs make this happen and they're also creating order book that enable Bitcoin's price discovery. Without all these technologies, the wide spread success of Bitcoin won't be as it is today. So I don't see CEX's as something meant to kill Bitcoin but to create more utility to it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating for CEXs, I'm just saying that it's not necessarily a bad thing. I love self-custody and decentralization, but that doesn't mean I'll turn a blind eye to the upside of it and say it is killing Bitcoin when it have actually done some good for it.

Of course the government sees that the masses trust and accept Bitcoin as a means of exchange even more than their local currencies; it's a no brainer to impose regulations on it before it outdoes their local currency and plunge the country's economy downward. This signals one thing and that is, Bitcoin is already successful enough that it even attracts the government's attention.

I agree with you, he actually wanted people to get freedom through Bitcoin. People should not have to be under the government or any controller. His goal was not to get rich or anything else. If that was  like that he want to be reach , he would not have disappeared like this. He wanted people to be able to transact in a decentralized manner and only after he was successful then he step away from Bitcoin. How benevolent a person is, he creates a powerful digital asset like Bitcoin for the welfare of the entire humanity, without caring about his own interests and needs. He is truly a legend.

No, he never controlled bitcoin. He created it, but from the beginning, it was built on consensus. It is fair to say that there is almost no way for any one person to destroy Bitcoin, even if he wanted to because it is not only built on consensus but is also opensource. Anyone can contribute and continue developing the project without depending on Satoshi.

As for his departure, it did help make Bitcoin more decentralized, but I think the main reason was his own safety.

The answer to your question is absolutely no, Bitcoin cannot be destroyed. Many of us knows the story of Bitcoin, how it started, about it's critics. If Bitcoin is easy to distroy, many who  criticized Bitcoin, and called it scam would have done that before now.
But the fortunate thing about bitcoin now is that , investors have seen the value in Bitcoin that they can't do without. Such as wealth creation, store of value, decentralization, easy , and convenient transactions, low fees etc , making investors including institutions, countries to even protect Bitcoin more than loosing such a valuable asset.

Altcoin did not change their mindset. In fact, that was their mindset and goal from the very beginning.

The reality is that most of us are drawn to this market by stories of people turning a few or a few hundred dollars into a fortune with Bitcoin. Very few people enter the market expecting to make money slowly. Most people want to make money quickly.

That is why, once people realized Bitcoin no longer offer the same returns as before, many started looking for the next Bitcoin by investing in shitcoin, hoping to repeat those success stories.

The biggest danger to Bitcoin, in my opinion, is for the States to become really authoritarian with the capital gains tax.

If they start slapping extortionate rates on bitcoin specifically or make the reporting requirements an absolute nightmare, it completely kills the incentive for retail investors to participate. It wouldn't destroy the network itself, but it would definitely push everyday users out.

All what you listed are just temporary, Bitcoin cannot be destroyed unless whole internet globally shutdown, that's the only reason. What you have listed are those reasons bitcoin value may go decline but it wont be destroyed technically. Because it's not possible as of the moment.

Such days can be like during an apocalypse and I don't know during such times, whether Bitcoin will still be important and priority of many people. They will likely have to struggle to survive physically and it will be their first concern, while Bitcoin will be not their most important concern.

If the Internet is only lost temporarily around the world or people individually can not access the Internet, they can wait Internet to be resumed or wait for chances to access the Internet again when they are at better locations. Otherwise there is off-grid solution such as this one.

That scenario is almost impossible. It would be extremely difficult for the entire Internet or the global power grid to go down at the same time.

The world has never witnessed anything like this, not even during large scale war, natural disasters or floods…internet has never stopped working worldwide.

The internet itself is highly decentralized. No single server or authority controls the entire internet. It is a network of thousands of service providers, data centers and cable routes around the world. It can be stated with certainty that shutting down the global internet simultaneously is virtually impossible.

Bitcoin has come to stay and nobody can destroy it again. And the government have been looking for a way in the years back but since they can't do that, now they are also joining the innovation which is a good development. And according to a general statement, if you can't beat them, you join them. Hackers can't penetrate the bitcoin protocol. Therefore everyone now is to buy and sell.

Very good article that could include Quantum computing and Regulation of private wallets. Since nothing is perfect, yes Bitcoin has vulnerabilities like any financial system, if I talk about the problems of fiat money for the population it would be a giant book. The misinformer haters that talk bad about Bitcoin, some work for company and government, some even with hidden intentions for speculation, manipulation like Pump and Dump, but Bitcoin has much more benefit, that's why the Bitcoin community, including this forum, that's very smart to defend and refute these bad intentioned people that want to destroy freedom and custody, leaving all of us in the hands of the governments that govern for their own benefit, badly administrating our tax money, they want everything to go back like before.

It has never witnessed anytime like this but it might have such one in the future, I don't know as we never know surely about the future.

But it's only unrealistic and the question in OP is not necessary because in such future, human on this planet have more life-surviving concerns to do rather than what happened with the Internet, what's wrong with Bitcoin blockchain.

Like this offgrid solution can be used for people who lost Internet because of their own issues, not this planet problems.

Interesting reminder is even if the planet has such future, but fortunately it will become better, Internet is back, if people secure their Bitcoin wallets and backups well through such times, they will not lose their bitcoins.

Bitcoin can't be destroyed, it's a very resilent asset and we need all global players to destroy it, which is pretty much imposible.
Bitcoin as a decentralized system is very resilent and to get it destroyed, we need a concetred action by all global players

tl;dr Bitcoin is too decentralized to be destroyed
That’s the truth about Bitcoin is a reliable assets that’s everyone has interest to buy and hold; so it will be difficult that Bitcoin will be destroyed, because is not that the Bitcoin is controlled by government or anyone if to say the government is are the one controlling the Bitcoin I know that destroy might ne possible, but since is not destroy will be very hard to happen in my opinion.

Because Bitcoin is decentralized and that’s why it h as s a strong roots to stay forever none have the power or right to destroy it, government have been looking of a way where they can able to attack the Bitcoin. But it was not possible, and they can never be succeed about that since is not control by any organizations.

The vulnerability of the network is the miners. In fact, the main capacities are concentrated in large mining centers, which means they are vulnerable to power supply problems or destruction for some reason - let's call them force majeure.

A drop in the total hashrate of the network will cause an increase in block time, that is, a delay in transactions. And if this time is calculated in hours or even days, then the network may not live to see the next difficulty calculation. It only depends on the scale of the problems, that is, how many large mining centers will be put out of operation, for example, due to lack of power supply.

So the network is vulnerable at the physical level. This is not surprising, since all complex systems are vulnerable. Even the Internet is vulnerable, the connectivity of which can be disrupted, for example, by the destruction of the integrity of intercontinental cables or the destruction of satellites (the electromagnetic pulse of a nuclear explosion in orbit will immediately disable hundreds of satellites).

There is nothing eternal and indestructible in nature at all, because even the universe has a beginning and will cease to exist sometime in the future.
