Thirteen years ago today, July 15, 2013, Finite by Design was officially established. This forum is where the first pieces were announced, and it's where I want to share this first.

Today I'm releasing the 100th piece in the Finite by Design catalog.

Early release to the Bitcointalk community, this evening to the world via social media.

BTClock Series - Genesis BTClock

The Block Series transforms significant moments from the Bitcoin blockchain into permanent physical artifacts. Each piece is an actual block - a solid 35x35mm 304 stainless steel cube, engraved on all six faces, loaded with Bitcoin, and sealed with a tamper-evident hologram.

Series I commemorates Block #0. The Genesis Block.

The Full Edition

21 pieces are available for purchase, serialized 01/21 through 21/21.
Two additional pieces exist outside the numbered edition:
AP - the Artist Proof, retained by Finite by Design.
0/21 - the Genesis of the Genesis. A unique variant featuring an orange Bitcoin symbol in place of the standard deep engraving, not available for purchase. Its future is undecided - archive, promotion, or auction. It will not be replicated.
The complete production run is 23 pieces. The collectible edition is 21.



Shipping

All orders placed July 15-17 ship before July 18. Orders placed after 4pm Est on July 17 will ship August 1.



The Block Series

Genesis is the first block in the series. Future releases will commemorate additional significant moments in Bitcoin's history. Each series will be a limited edition of 21 pieces.



This is also the debut of the Cold Storage Seal Gen 1 hologram - the first f*D piece to feature it.
