First of all I will say congratulations on the max win, but I think that the most important thing aspect of your post is not about the win itself. But where you make mention that you feel the money can be better spent elsewhere. That kind of thought can help someone to avoid giving back the profit that was brought by luck. Then as for the VIP level, let it not be the reason that will keep on playing. Alot if platforms do designs those rewards to motivate people to continue betting. I mainly play dice, but in all my years of gambling, I've never hit the max multiplier even once. As for slots, I rarely play them, although there are a few games that I actually enjoy watching.

But to hit a maximum win you must be a big roller and one who also go for huge returns from every game to be staked on. It’s true and  chance of hitting it is sometimes much lower than winning a lottery so it’s not really worth it to chase for unless you have huge bankroll and love to play slot games in your normal form of entertainment.

Is this just a gambler's fallacy? Because I have seen some influencers who hit a max win and then looking at the size of bets, they are max bets too. Regardless at one point in a landbase casinos I have witnessed something hitting the biggest jackpot with just the minimum bet.

If you yourself do gambling then I think you know the answer and with slot gambling of course one of the Fun Points is when we manage to get a win not only in this type of gambling but with all types of gambling games of course winning becomes one of the points that can make people happy.
In addition another difference is in a response, where there is someone who gambles really for fun by not fixing the point of pleasure on winning but on the course of gambling that they can take the fun side.

I have never won the maximum win so I always wait for it even though it has been several years of gambling, but if you measure the winnings, maybe you can say I won the maximum win because I can get a big win with a much higher bet on each spin, and if calculated it is the maximum win at a bet with a lower cost per spin.
Speaking of profit and loss if taken into account it seems that I still lose more than most wins, although lately it has been much better but it does not close the previous years which can be very bad if calculated correctly.

I have never hit a max win and I doubt I ever will considering these 3 last years with absolute bad luck being the main theme when playing slots. I however have gone very near it one time getting 9883x out of 10000x max win in Fish Eye slot from Reel Kingdom and also I have won another time more than 10000x when I hit 11339x in Return of the Green Knight slot from Play n Go, from this very win in early 2024 to not winning and only massive losing so far.

Your question is fair, but the adrenaline that slots give me (the few times I play them) is really high, the air under pressure, the desire to guess a fair series, the hope of catching the free spin series with the bet multiplier.
All the gameplay makes my mind active, I like it for that, but thanks to the limitations I impose on myself, I haven't done any financial damage to my wallet in a long time.

I've not won the Max wins TBH, but I have had some 10X and 100X before, but it didn't cover up for my losses. I discovered I loose a lot of money playing slots in a short while, hence I drifted from being active on it to sports betting which helps me conserve my capital for a while and stick to my budget, still play crash games few times.
