Scammer on telegram who claims to search blockchain for forgotten wallets

From the pin message you quote from that group, it's unclear to me because it only shows the subscription packages.

I had to visit the group through the link in your post to see for myself. The scam trick is very obvious in the group but I won't be surprised if people still fall for it. It's the nature of scammers to push potential victims with videos that looks genuine and that's what's happening in that group.

I suggest you make the link unclickable (insert in a code) next time to avoid leading people to such groups. Some people are very dumb and can easily get confused. Not everyone here is wise enough to grab the message you're passing here.

This is a very good reason people need to have knowledge about something before getting scammed. There are many different scam on telegram, this is just one if them. Even from his service, you can easily know that he just want to scam and nothing more.

I do believe that 90% of the scams can be easily avoided by just exercising your due diligence and being cautious with everything that you do.

Like what I always mentioned, prevention will always be better than cure. Do not put yourself in a situation where it would be more difficult for you to recover. Additionally, if something is too good to be true, then it's most likely a scam.

So basically they are offering a services or a tool that seek for a seed phrase possible there is a catch there like for those people who subscribe at the lower tiers probably they will prompt that they got a jackpot and manage to take home some seed that has a balance after that the user will seen a potential for an earning they will now subscribe for a higher tier and the scammers will now take home bigger amount, these users do always lurking around in a crypto groups reason why once seen unknown message from these will be automatically I delete and block no time for drama like that I dont entertain strangers.

This is exactly true. I mean, services that involve anything to do with wallets or transaction-based results are something that should be avoided. Unless you are actually dealing with someone who is a professional; or at least someone who is known in this forum, randomly looking for someone especially in a platform which promotes anonymity is definitely a red flag.

If you want to find someone else's wallet, and somehow you believe you can steal their funds that way, without the seed phrase or PK. Then you get scammed in the process, isn't that a good ending to the story.

The victims are as fraudulent as the scammer. And can't they think for one second, that if the seller can actually get access to these wallets and the funds in them, he would keep it to himself and get rich off of it.

Your belief is true because people can be scammed in many markets, many activities in their lives, not only in cryptocurrency market.

They only need to be careful that is a very first practice of "prevention is better than cure". They can learn, have knowledge about the market, scam methods but if at the end with practice they are careless, their knowledge will become useless to protect them (their accounts, wallets, and money).

Anyway in general, it's good to learn about scam methods used by scammers.

Telegram is a hub for scammers, I pity whoever takes any services from a channel there as authentic. Scammers are everywhere but telegram is a different case study. I've archived or deleted all groups I joined in the early 2024 when the tapping games were in vogue.

Sometimes trails from the past disturbs people and if you have been n a public group before, chances are that you are added into more even without your permission. You can stop that by going to settings>Privacy & Security> Invites. Under who can add me? go ahead and uncheck "Everyone" and select either "My Contacts" or "Nobody" and remove "Premium users" from the add exceptions.

I agree with you, Telegram is the most dangerous place where people can easily get scam because that is the place where many scammers use to get people attention, when i start using telegram there are many messages from the scammers and sometimes i will find myself in a group that i don’t know how i got there, immediately after i started seeing those messages and groups i start leaving the groups and also blocking the messages, some will even come with an approach that will make you feel greedy so that they can get your attention. Sometimes it takes me more than a months before checking my telegram messages because of how i received unnecessary messages from the scammers who think they are smart, we need to understand that telegram is not a place where you will trust anyone.

But first, what exactly do people use their telegram for that often exposes them to things like this?. Afaik, those who join few or no telegram channels are less likely to come across scams like this.

And as for this particular scam, despite how dumb and funny it sounds, I believe some people are still going to fall for it.
What kind of service offers people a chance to get access to a random wallet that they never owned?. And funny how the scammer kept laying more emphasis on how it can make them rich, like wth ?.

Between 2023 and 2024, telegram had a surge in users, so expect scams to be on the rise. It has even cool down for now since those tap tap things came to an end. I was getting tired on how people were sending me telegram referral because the want to earn coins, they literally became crypto expert, so most of the people that were involved in these things understand nothing about crypto, these are the people most of this telegram scammers go after.

The fact that the tegram channel is available and OP found it recently shows that people really fall victim of those scams, in 100 people that visit the group, there should be at least 1 ignorant person that will fell for that scam. I don't like to message people on Telegram even though I have their connect, I will rather use a private message, it feel safe and better than using Telegram.

I’m always of the note that, these guys out to have tried getting the wallets of the many lost coins out there, track  the private keys or seed phrase and get its content.
Obviously, they don’t get to do that, it can’t be done and so, which ever detail that could help in wallet recovery, you’ve got it so, why not use it than risk it with a third party that can obviously use it for good and you get nothing if they ever can. Way too risky to try.

Telegram is a place for scammers. Sadly, it's always been and abused by these scammers. And for the people thinking that they can use these people for the actual service. It won't be, don't fall for the scam and these forgotten wallets are forgotten forever. Just using the common sense about taking other people's wallet would that be easy then the crypto market would have collapsed already. I hope that these people thinking it's possible to happen will wake up in the reality and will not feed their own greed because they're going to fall for such scams.
