--snip--
This type of scam has been around since I was a kid in crypto and the appearance of the application is really too old for the modern era like now,
whether he only has 1 view or is he lazy to update to get people interested in the scam.

I could even create this kind of app by writing a simple prompt in the Codex I was using.

At least this scammer either don't know about today's AI capability, don't want to spend any money for the AI subscription or don't know there are ways to use such AI without spending any money.

Wait, I don't understand the solution to which problem the scammer is trying to solve, what does it mean by searching on blockchain for forgotten wallet. If I understanding clearly, is he talking about finding out seed phrase to a lost wallet? From his pinned message on telegram, he doesn't even understand the solution to the problem he is even meaning.

It's impossible searching on the blockchain to track lost seed phrase or private key, that's insane.

Lots of newbies may fall into this trap, because they may not understand what them and the scammer is even doing.

The scammer simply makes false claim by using some buzzword/complex word to make his claim sounds convincing. They hope the victim focus on false potential income, while not thinking detail of their claim.

I don't know how stupid some of these scammers think people are, and I also don't know what people who are subscribing to such things think they will be benefiting by doing that. If such was possible, will those scammers be generous enough to offer a paid fee which will grant people access to it.

I know that newbies visit this sites on a daily and I decided to drop this here. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM, there is nothing like searching for lost or forgotten wallets on the blockchain.

You have done well by bringing it down here only if it will get to the right audience, as I mostly see most newbies come here when they are already scammed to come and search and seek for a solution.

That's true, some only seek for knowledge when they are in problem, or stuck in-between difficult challenges then the quest to know only to solve that problem becomes important to them.
It good to make research and learn always to be prepared for anything that will come up during or after decisions has been made.
Not always waiting to learn in the hard way, rather to be informed so as not to be deformed. Take away greed the mind because this is what makes people fall victim of some of such scam ideas.

I have seen various types of scammers where they go to any extent to scam the users.
But this one is the laziest scammer of all of them. Why would anybody fall for this ?
Almost everyone who's into blockchain knows they cannot obtain any coins from a public ledger.
The scammer isn't even trying to scam at this point. It's like if you are unaware then just give me your coins.

Exactly my point, lol. The victims are not only gullible, but they are also fraudulent, as they intend to steal money from others, money that does not belong to them. They would only cry foul play because another scammer got the better of them, if it was actually possible for them to steal funds from people this way, i am pretty sure they would be happy with the whole scheme.

It's new maybe scammers didn't find any customers yet, It say 500+ satisfied customers I think it's forged so that people can trust them. But I don't think anyone who open alteast one wallet address should trust them. If a customer buy the service from scammers teaching them is waste of time they will lost their money somewhere else with their idiotic brain.

If you are knowledgeable, you will never fall victim to certain kinds of scams. This is one example. No one who understands how Bitcoin works will easily trust a channel like that. This is what happens when people fail to research anything they are introduced to. They easily trust strangers on Telegram with their money.

The worst place to learn about any form of investment is through random social media platforms. They make offers that seem too good to be true, which often turn out to be misleading.

People do fall for any form is scam mate, it’s not everyone that have good knowledge to identify such scams, but experience users especially this forum users who have been paying attention to all the advices that are being shared here and they learn about Bitcoin, wallets, keys and addresses and so on, they will easily know that this is a scam attempt to get victims because it is obvious.

And generally, any advice or support from telegram channels or groups to me are not legit, I don’t rate them at all because scammers have spoiled their reputation, so any information related to crypto or any service, do well to do your background check before trying the service because telegram don’t have that good reputation anymore because they don’t take action and allows scammers to ruin the platform for them.

Unfortunately, many people still fall for it, and if the offer involves "quick and easy money," people fall for it even more easily. It's good not only for beginners to read topics like this but also for those of us who are a little more experienced. Scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated; some are more amateurish, but not everyone knows this.

Telegram is a place for scammers. Sadly, it's always been and abused by these scammers. And for the people thinking that they can use these people for the actual service. It won't be, don't fall for the scam and these forgotten wallets are forgotten forever. Just using the common sense about taking other people's wallet would that be easy then the crypto market would have collapsed already. I hope that these people thinking it's possible to happen will wake up in the reality and will not feed their own greed because they're going to fall for such scams.

Hard to generalize about place for scammer. Because there are many legitimate people and business use telegram as venue for direct communication.

Yeah many scams happening there, since the scammers can easily replicate the name of those famous individuals or certain people. That's why its important for people to know those scams and know what are the schemes they are doing on that platform. Also its important to consider that they should not entertain those people sending them a message and offer something, since I believe all of those people doing that at 100% scammer.
It has become a place for scammers although it's true that it's also a medium used by legitimate businesses and people. By saying this, I think people who are not aware of the scams there will have to be careful and have that note in their minds that telegram is a place where a lot of scammers are around especially if they've been joining crypto groups, they'll be approached for that. To edit the names there are easy and that's why they are hard to follow and trace and accounts can be deleted which have become an advantage for the scammers.

Since this is coming from Telegram I will like to compare to this scam trick to that username purchase because the scammers always ask for TON wallet address too, Telegram is full of scammers and that's the major problem with that social app, there is nothing good coming from there unless you join a group and that's all, don't bother interacting with anybody else if they are stranger they have nothing good for you, they are there to take advantage of you.

How "kind" you are, I laugh out loud😆. I am also always in favor of people learning from their own experience. Anyone who wants to steal from someone will get something like that. This is fair, because any normal person would not even think about stealing something from somewhere. But I see that this "craftsman" already has more than 4,000 subscribers. I wonder why there are no reviews and complaints about this scammer on the Internet, and his channel has been around for more than two years.

To be honest, there are a lot of similar channels on the web, but as long as there are weirdos who believe in hacking bitcoin and hunting for other people's wallets, let there be those who will teach them vigilance and be able to dispel their illusions. Here is another such channel.  https://t.me/crypto_hunter_btc 🧐 or this one  https://t.me/thesoftwaretool

There are many of them, as well as those who will believe.

I was reading your post and just pitying the illiterates and gullible people who would act without first seeking knowledge. It's not even an easy task for a centralised system where you know an email or account number and be able to force your way in, let alone a decentralised system like Bitcoin. Well, he understands what he's doing, as his motive is to illegally make money from people, and nothing more.

Come to think of it, even if it's possible, is it not a higher risk to contract such fellow you don't know to brute-force his way into your wallet?

if you really have no clue on what is going on you will easily get scam, also if no people is guiding you or teaching you what not to do or what to do, you will easily fall for this trick, but someone who i have known fall for this, and even though i already teach him that never let other people know their seed, because he fall on the sweet word and promise he unknowingly give up the important thing that he had, sadly once importation is given to them their is no escape you are already on their hand control.

It's not Telegram's fault if there are people who are using the platform for illicit things.
We have more platforms like Telegram where these scammers carry on the same type of activities.
But yeah, I agree to you that users from this forum are more aware of these type of scams.
Since they already have enough knowledge about crypto works they can identify and prevent potential scams.

Unfortunately, after all the warnings from several places about how scammers dominated telegram, new users are still getting scammed from telegram app. I haven’t experienced any before, my only days on telegram was when we had enough tap to earn crypto projects that were going on there. Projects that were no where to be found now, and I regretted holding some of these tokens because they all zero now.
From that time, I get used to telegram, I was always careful about the users I chat or respond to on telegram to avoid getting scammed like other users.

That's right, there are some common scams on social media, including investment learning scams, which can be avoided by using a little common sense. But most people fall into the trap of fraud due to greed and when they realize it, there is nothing else to do. Knowledge reduces the risk of fraud but does not completely protect anyone from fraud. Even experienced investors, software developers or cybersecurity experts can sometimes fall victim to very sophisticated fraud. Therefore, being skeptical when you see unrealistic profit promises and using your knowledge and thinking realistically, without greed, can protect you from such fraud.

But I see that this "craftsman" already has more than 4,000 subscribers. I wonder why there are no reviews and complaints about this scammer on the Internet, and his channel has been around for more than two years.
They are probably changing the channel information to adapt to new scam schemes, if that is even allowed by Telegram.  And the over 4,000 subscribers are purchased, I assume, particularly to offer a false image of being trust worthy.

This is why you need to deepen your knowledge of crypto because there are so many scammers out there who will trick you with things like this. If you at least understand that seed phrases are virtually impossible to guess or brute-force with current technology, you'll be far less likely to fall for scams claiming they can 'recover' or 'brute-force' seed phrases from wallets.
But some people still fall for these scams. Either because they don't understand or because they're too tempted by the prospect of brute-forcing someone's wallet, which would give them access to a large amount of cryptocurrency with minimal effort.
