There's no way someone who's into the crypto space will fall for such a scam because it's already obvious it's a scam. Although these scammers don't target those who are already into the crypto space, but those who are not.
There are people who are in the crypto space, but still do not know what is happening in the crypto space and they can still be victims of this scam. If the scammer is not still having some success with this scam strategy, they would have already stopped and tried newer strategies to scam, but because they still have victims both the new to crypto and those who are in crypto already but fail to stay cautious. I see myself as a target because I am investing in Bitcoin This is why I am very careful online both with links and people online on messaging and chatting apps like telegram that I visit and links that have been sent to me from people who I see as having more knowledge than I do.

Recovery scammers are everywhere now because cryptocurrency has gained global attention more than in previous years. Folks with wallet errors think a random person online can recover their wallet for them. That is why they keep exposing their other wallet to scammers.
Indeed people can be so naive and ignorant. Sometimes when I see people complain about falling for these kind of scams, I just wonder what’s going on in their head, but then I realized that sometimes desperation can really blind people and push them into making some stupid and irrational decisions. Sometimes people go into the crypto world without knowing a thing about it, because if a person is aware that if they lose their seed phrases, no one can help them recover it, especially some random strangers, then they won’t fall into such scam.

The scammer simply makes false claim by using some buzzword/complex word to make his claim sounds convincing. They hope the victim focus on false potential income, while not thinking detail of their claim.
These buzzwords has really got many people into investing in crypto projects too, a project that has zero vision will use complex crypto and blockchain words to deceive investors into putting in money during presales, some may even call themselves the fastest blockchain project with speedy transactions and confirmation but fail at the end of the day. When it comes to beginners and those that are not really into the technical aspects of cryptocurrency but still have their minds fixated on the fact that, they can make a lot of money from altcoins, crypto startups and just whatever project that might be touching the space anew, they care very little for what the wordings might actually mean and don’t give 2 cents about understanding it to the point of application. You find people trying to be the early bird and compensate for lost opportunities in Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency projects that followed similar path in their startup. Unfortunately, the cryptocurrency space is unforgiving and have no room for a retrace of steps so you find people falling into traps facilitated by their own greed.

Telegram has become a den for scammers, which have made plenty of people not to make use of telegram so that scammers will not spam them with unwanted messages. I am on telegram but i can only receive messages only from my contact so that i will never cross part with scammers on telegram. By just looking at the services of the scammer, anyone who has been using wallet for a long time and understand the means to recover a lost wallet will never fall for this cheap scam trick, because wallet seed phrase cannot be recover by searching through blockchian, which is one of the things that can help you recover a lost wallet.
Hmm that's how Telegram is full of scams, I myself often receive vague spam messages from someone who blue tick offers casino games with their affiliate links, there are also those who send out Casino phishing links. All kinds of crypto scams are there, the main thing is not to be tempted by unclear profits, especially if you just sit back and ask to pay this is definitely a fraudulent trick they do.

Although these scammers don't target those who are already into the crypto space, but those who are not. The fact that they are not into the crypto space makes them vulnerable to this type of scam, especially if they have the intention to make quick money online. Telegram has been working very well for crypto communication and transactions for a long time but later scammers started using it in a bad way, because of which there are many records of people being scammed on telegram. Telegram is working very well for daily use but it has been ruined by fraudulent people.
Truth be told, scammers are not only on Telegram because all social media have scammers, so nowhere is safe at all on the Internet, the only thing to do is be more careful and not desperate to get anything because desperation has made a lot of people do things they regret later. Many people who had been scammed earlier were scammed as a result of desperation and curiosity. Those who are not informed about the cryptocurrency space are the main targets of these scammers so I believe you that there is no way a person who is versatile about wallets and how Blockchain works will fall for such a cheap scam, it will even be laughable for us that knows. Some people says that what you don't know is bigger than you but what I have found out is that if you are not desperate for quick money it would be difficult to fall into scammers trap. And scammers are everywhere on social media so we shouldn't deceive ourselves that other social media platforms are safe because telegram have been labelled the home of scammers, even a harmless link that was ignorantly sent by a loved one can be a phishing link.

There was a time when I used Telegram a lot, but gradually Telegram has become a source of annoyance for me, and one reason I would like to highlight here is the regular messaging of scammers, sometimes they will message me as a client, sometimes as an ambassador of a gambling site. Then they will ask you to deposit money on a phishing link and after making the deposit, they will disappear. In my case, I have never fallen into their trap, but after blocking one, they start sending messages to another the next day. So now I have even disabled Telegram notifications on my phone.

Telegram still a good platform to use for legitimate communication, but problem will start if you didn't change the setting on who can send you a message. If you allow everyone to message you, this his when the problem starts because there are lots of message will pop up came from those scammers. Also what people need to remember is there's no legitimate representative will send them a message first. Scammers will try their best to fool people and usually they offer to good to be true returns to steal the money of those people who will show interest on their fake assistance or investment.

I never change the settings about who can message me, it's just that I always block any user who sends a link I don't recognize. I've always been an open person for discussion wherever it's on Telegram, but I have a special standard. I always forbid anyone from sending links that are useless to me. Every once in a while I get a youtube link from a friend I know, but I immediately forbid him from sending it to me, or he will be blocked by me.

There is, and there are so many people in the crypto space who are highly vulnerable and can be easily scammed because they don't have enough knowledge about this space or the things in it, they don't know how a blockchain works, they don't know how a wallet is created or how a seed phrase is generated, they don't even know that you need a seed phrase to gain access to a lost or forgotten wallet, so when they are told that they can actually find such wallets through the software and whatever they find is theirs, they will easily fall for it. In a space where people literally fall for AI videos being live-streamed on YouTube and other platforms where Elon Musk or other famous celebrities are doing giveaways where you send $100 and get $200, what can you expect? I have seen so many such scams on the internet, and some people are so crazy that they actually believe these things are real and a celebrity can actually do such a giveaway for everyone who sends money. You must be very naive to fall for such things, and there are a lot of such naive newbies in this space.

Actually, I have no doubt about it at all because the fact that some people are still in the crypto space doesn't mean that they are aware of all these things that they have mentioned already. Some only have in mind that Bitcoin can provide them a huge amount of profit in the future, meanwhile, it doesn't work like that. And if by any chance such people see those kinds of adverts, they will likely believe them and fall for the scam, so you are also right about it. In a space where people literally fall for AI videos being live-streamed on YouTube and other platforms where Elon Musk or other famous celebrities are doing giveaways where you send $100 and get $200, what can you expect? Honestly, on this type of scam, it's very obvious that only those who are so obsessed and desperate about money will likely fall for this. Another thing here is that some people do not just fall for a scam, but because they are curious about it, they will likely deposit only a very small amount of money that they can afford.

This scam method is generating revenue for the scammers, which is why they are motivated to sell lies to unsuspecting people. Those who buy these lies are obviously greedy people, just as you have said. They are more focused on what they stand to gain from renting the software and other packages that will be given to them than trying to at least ask questions or seek information from sources completely different from the Telegram source. Do some research, gather facts and findings, and ascertain whether those guys are reputable or not. People who are knowledgeable know that they honestly cannot be telling the truth. It is so unfortunate to see people fall for scams like this, scams that are very obvious from the very beginning. Well, nothing surprises me anymore. As long as scammers exist, there will always be people motivating them to come up with more scam tactics. Greedy people are the ones who always give scammers hope of continuing their dirty deeds. If only people can take their time to do thorough research and findings on whatever they want to do, I think there would be less efforts from scammers to play their dirty games anymore because nobody would fall so easily for their tricks anymore but the truth remains the fact that there are more greedy fellows who would go at any length just to want it all alone to themselves and these are the kind of people who still fall so sheepishly for these scammers because they tend to ignore the rules of self contentment and discipline. So I also would not be surprised seeing more people fall victim to scams everyday. Newbies also fall for this scam, whether they are greedy or not. Remember that they are new to crypto in general. Even if they do some research or ask questions, there are still chances that they may be researching from the wrong sources or even from people who want to scam them. The newbie stage is a very vulnerable stage where anything can happen. That is why newbies are mostly advised to invest only money that they can afford to lose. It is usually after they have had one bad experience that they begin to see clearly the things they would have done differently. Newbies who are in this forum should just be grateful for updates like this that keep them alert and help them spot these scammers wherever they meet them.

Some of the groups I joined in my early days of using telegram, I was only doing some mini cleanup and archiving them when I saw the channel name and decided to have a closer look. Though he is a baby scammer but we only know because we're informed. uninformed and greedy people can easily be lured in by his video testimonies and loose precious funds in the process.
Well said. He may be a "baby scammer," but he will still be able to pull it off. His first post was made as far back as January 2024. From that period to the present day is about 2 years and 7 months. For him to still be active, it means his scamming business hasn't been fruitless. There's always going to be that ignorant and greedy person that will fall for his scam. I've just reported the channel, but I am not sure it will be enough to have it taken down.
