I assume you are talking about becoming a professional bettor in sports and using crypto-casinos instead of old school brick-and-mortar bookies.

Well, the only reason I would see someone using those brick-and-mortar establishments instead of crypto casinos, it would because some adversity towards Bitcoin and other digital assets, or perhaps the lack of digital literacy, which would be required to manage one's cryptographic keys safely.

Do you have some experience with betting in sports or you are relatively new to this world? I ask because becoming a profitable bettor in the long term is extremely difficult.

I don't think so the real problem is the cash out system in a gambling platforms because a faster withdrawal doesn't change the mathematical fact and the reality that the house still has the edge whether it is a local platform or a crypto casino the expected result and loss is the same in the long run. If someone wants to earn passive income from gambling they are already starting with an unrealistic expectation. The platform may be better  but it doesn't make gambling a profitable business for the average player or who want to be rich from gambling. Gambling will be just for entertainment .

I don't think anyone can reasonably be dealing with crypto, be a gambler, have access to crypto casino, and still not patronise them. Although the reason is mostly far from the comparisons with the fiat casinos, as many of them now have what crypto casinos have, but the only difference is the payment means.

As we know, crypto is the main thing in the payment world, and the fees and accessibility are encouraging, not to mention the privacy. And from either of the two, I have positive experience, and addiction has neve been my thing, just because I don't prioritise gambling.

Most people here I am pretty sure use cryptocurrency casinos and betting platforms because we are all here in this forum exactly because of cryptocurrencies in the first place. I don't think that there are arguments against crypto based, some of them have established themselves here and so we are more familiar with deposits or withdrawals. They even have representatives here that can answer your issue right away.

Although I still uses local casinos because of the ease and they are with many promos specially for their targeted local users. But still if I will have to pick one then I will go with crypto base. And I don't know, if I play slots on crypto base, I have this kind of weird feeling that I will going to get a huge multiplier hit.

For me, I have used only crypto for gambling, though I am not gambling regularly. In my country there are two categories of gamblers: one is the lower category, those who aren't familiar with crypto and crypto-gambling platforms. They are like daily labourers or do small jobs; also, they gamble with small fiat money. They really can't afford to purchase crypto and handle it; handling crypto isn't easy for everyone.

Another category are quite smart gamblers, so they are called 'global gamblers' since they gamble on the global sites. Not like small gamblers who stuck only with local gambling platforms with fiat. These smaller gamblers use cryptocurrency here, and they know how to handle their crypto as well.

That means a lot of people here locally aren't familiar with crypto; they choose a local gambling platform. Even when I walk in the road, I sometimes notice people gambling on the local platform. Handling local gambling platforms through fiat is easy for them.

One of the factors is afraid for adaptation not all people are widely knowledgeable about crypto, so they are afraid with the wrong perception with cryptocurrency, and we know it's likely technical if we use this compared with the use of the banks/e-wallets and other form of payment. We have a lot of casino here in my country but I dont use them reason is its more ideal in terms of safety about information using crypto casino and of course with a no kyc verification add convenience of having a fast deposit and withdrawal feature most of them have a more promotions than in my local casinos.

What I don't really like in local online casinos are their provably fair rules. I think they are tweaking it to their advantage way too much because they will have to pay a large amount in taxes, and considering they can only be used in the country, it reduces profits, unlike crypto casinos, which can be accessed internationally. There could be several reasons why some gamblers resort in local gambling site instead of using cryptocurrency gambling site.
At first, the funding system of cryptocurrency gambling site, and that of local bookies are not thesame. It is more easier to fund local gambling site since you can find it directly from your bank or from traditional currency wallet. But to fund your betting account with cryptocurrency wallet, you have to fund your cryptocurrency wallet first before funding your gambling site, and this process might be difficult, and even unknown to those who lack the idea of making transactions with cryptocurrency.

Firstly, you cannot make profit from gambling in the long run talk more, of passive income. Gambling isn't an investment and don't see it as a job too otherwise, you are getting the whole concept wrong.

Crypto casino withdrawals are pretty fast in most cases, but it's not always like that... some casinos like to take their time, manually review it, etc. You mentioned BetPanda, BC.Game, and Stake... well, if you check their threads and scam accusation section, you will see there are some red flags for the first two casinos, but Stake is leading by far in popularity.

Take your time, check the gambling section & scam accusation section, and give it a try... I quit fiat gambling +10 years ago, and I am not coming back to that.

I've never played in local casino before but I have place bets on sports using one, that one thing I noticed is trouble, sports fans fighting eachother while the match is ongoing, this will ruin your fun if you find yourself in such situation.

I now prefer to watch the games on my house than going to local betting shops or casinos, the advantage of gambling online is way better than that of local casinos.

You are right, I have had very different experiences when it comes to withdrawals, and I'm talking about little ones, so imagine if you had to withdraw a huge one. It is true that in the last platforms I have used it has been almost instant, yesterday it took a few minutes, which is a really good mark because it was Bitcoin, but I guess this is because I already know and avoid casinos and sportsbooks that paid late.

OP, you mention passive income, but I don't think such a thing exists in gambling.
