If the question is "Who is the Greatest of all time", it is very difficult to explain and my most honest answer, there is no definite answer because it all depends on who each individual supports.

This is just the honest truth If you ask me  because our  various answers and recommendation  will always depends on who will loved and support individually. However, these two has done pretty well for themselves over the years and I beleive both of them are great players that will certainly be written with a golden pen.

Furthermore, the both pairs are greatest of all time in the best of my knowledge  but if you asked me who I prefer I will say is Ronaldo, of which Lionel Messi can be some other persons favorite, so that's how it is, the two of them are freaking amazing and I won't want it to stirred up any unnecessary aguement.

Well, it's always difficult to choose between the both of them because they're both great at different levels and I don't like the comparison between both of them. Now if I want to judge from the statistics outlined above I will pick Messi above Ronaldo not from a place of sentiments but a personal choice and if you watch Messi play he doesn't struggle with the ball the way Ronaldo does, he's just too flexible and the Argentine team mates believes in him and plays the ball around him unlike the Portuguese team that don't believe in Ronaldo and they don't build the team around him.

These two players are great and I respect them and what they have brought in the world of football, respect matters when you have achieved so many great feats in football and that's what the Portuguese team lacks towards Ronaldo and he intend to play alone while on the pitch. I don't expect everyone to love and cherish Messi or Ronaldo some people still pick Ronaldinho against them, all of them are great in their own ways.

Every football fan has their own best player in their point of view, but in my opinion Messi and Ronaldo are the best of the best players. Both have reached a level that is difficult for other players to match because their quality has been proven when playing for clubs and the national team. If you talk about the greatest soccer players of all time where they can be called (GOAT) of course in world soccer, honestly for me there are two, namely Pelé and Diego Maradona.

The reason is simple for both of them to be said to be GOAT.
• Pelé, as far as I know he has scored one thousand goals in various football leagues, with a quite brilliant career, where Pelé changed the audience's perspective on his abilities and Pelé became a Brazilian football legend by winning the world cup three times.

• This player Diego Maradona is clear that everyone in the world knows the talent and skills he has, with extraordinary individual skills, Maradona, as far as I remember, in the history of the world cup as a whole, almost single-handedly won the world cup, this clearly proves that Maradona is the GOAT player of all time.

From my perspective, if the Goat is judged in terms of the most perfect talent, influence on the way he plays football, then the majority will choose Messi, but if judged in terms of the most perfect athlete, hard work and record, then the majority will choose Ronaldo. Both are great players in their own way, Messi is a natural born genius, while Ronaldo is a genius born through hard work. Regardless of who is the greatest between the two, I feel very fortunate to be in the same era as them and to be able to watch them both play live.

If you support a formula 1 driver who has never won a race and you are asked who is the greatest driver of all time, you would still say that it is the driver you support although he has never won anything? I only want to reject your idea that it is about whom we support. No, there should be a sense of objectivity when we are asked this question.

Now between these two players, I think what stands out about Messi is how he got better and better with age because he was willing to adapt. What Messi has done at the two last World Cups is immeasurable. He scored the most goals along with Mbappe and Alvaret at the World Cup 2022, scored two goals in the final against France and won it. He scored eight goals at this World Cup so far, gave both assists against England and is now in the final again. It is no coincidence that Argentina is winning and Portugal is losing.

Nobody can argue that Portugal has a bad team, they have a great team and in terms of quality are probably Argentina. But Ronaldo is not a leader, he is egoistic and that spreads to the whole team. Messi is the opposite and while he can be egoistic, he delivers and scores. Ronaldo doesn't score and yet is egoistic.

I think over time Messi has won this comparison. Three World Cup finals, one title safe and perhaps two titles while being by far the best scorer in the team. Ronaldo didn't play for Iceland, he played for Portugal and he can't blame his team.
