Do you remember the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, when they made a series of baseless accusation that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction?
But what happened afterward? No weapons of mass destruction were found, and the US itself later admitted that the intelligence was wrong. Now, the US is using similar tactics to justify its invasion of Iran, and its supporter are simply repeating what the US government tells them without looking back at history or what actually happened.
It's pretty ironic that a country that has used nuclear weapons against another country is now making similar accusations against a country that has never possessed them.
There's a clear pattern always with all of these foreign wars but alot people choose to ignore these patterns and follow whatever they read from the media. It was all a lie with Venezuela, and Libya also. I can recall them all vividly. They underestimate iran, a civilization which has seen it all. They refused to be bullied and they're the only country in the middle east standing up for the oppressed Palestinians. They have no right to educate the world further, if you make rules and can not live by the same rules and can not be held accountable by the same rules then, you (American government ), should keep shut when others are talking about human right laws.

China is taking advantage of the US harshness on other countries to draw them closer because the US believes that every country in the world needs them to survive but gradually, they're slowly losing these countries to China. The US needs to be careful if not, they will make more enemies than friends because of the orange man actions.
There are countries who are trying to make a good relationship with both China and US because they want to have access to market, investment, and security partnership with technology. Because of the US recent activities, it has created different opening for China to expand their diplomatic and economic influence all over the world. But still US has major advantage because of their alliensis they have advantages in different field and global partnership with others. The main risk is not that every country is suddenly switching their sides, but the more countries decide they have less reason to automatically align with the United States.

Even the US itself cannot do without China, especially from an economic point of view. The last time Trump tried to fuck around with a tariff war, he exactly found out why the US needs China more than China needs the US China has captured a vast amount of the global market while the US tried to isolate itself by imposing sanctions, thinking it was punishing the adversaries but instead accelerating China's growth.

China remain the largest exporter to the US, and conversely, the US remain China's largest export market. To be fair, both side need each other, and it would be very difficult for either side to completely break free from that dependence. In terms of global influence, the US still leads, but China is expanding its influence and becoming a formidable competitor. If the US doesnt focus on innovation, but instead tries to contain China's rise with such tactic, China will eventually catch up and possibly even surpass the US.

The longer-term negative consequences of Trump's massive shift in US policy is hard to overstate.
Today, countries across the world are formally trying to distance themselves from the USA. Europe, for instance, is making moves that will have their companies move away from US-based tech platforms like Microsoft and Google. This is obviously going to take many years, but the direction is a terrible omen for US dominance in the long run.
In the past, countries never gave a thought about the fact that all of their country's infrastructure was dependent on the USA. For the last 100 years, the US has mostly played fair (and more importantly, predictably). Trump has made it clear that he intends to exploit a country's dependence on our products to the maximum extent. He has shown that he'll use this dependence on our products as geopolitical leverage (i.e. "support our Iran war or we'll turn off MS Windows and stop your industries in their tracks"). He has shown that he does not care at all about tomorrow, only today.
It's going to take a little while for this to have an effect, but it is going to slowly build into a massive shift of power away from the USA because we can no longer be trusted.
Of course this could potentially change if Trump's party, the Republicans, lose power in the USA in the next two election cycles in 26 and 28. But that depends on both Democrats winning and the political winds shifting enough to make Democrats reverse everything he's done and restore the world's faith in the USA.
Both of these will depend on the continued success of US economy, particularly the stock market (and to a lesser extend the crypto market). Trump and his party have put everything on the stock market doing well, which has worked very well for them because the markets have done so well. But they are setting themselves up for disaster of the markets turn bad.
And lest you think this is all "long term" thinking, understand that the US ability to pay for it's bonds depend on the USA being as strong as it has been into the distant future. The USA is, in a sense, like a large company carrying a lot of debt. Is that a problem? If the company grows and profits well, then no. If it stagnates or declines, then it's bankruptcy. This equation is being played out today by bond traders, because they are predicting the US future now.
Hence our markets, and thus the US future, is hinges on the S&P 500 index. If it goes up or stays high, then we'll be fine. If it drops, we're toast (although it would so-damage Trump's party that the political shift would at least partially restore our standing in the world).

By imposing the higher tariffs, the US was actually unknowingly reducing the gap. I believe there are now other bigger trade partners with China not so far behind the US, especially from the Asian continent. In terms of global influence, the US still leads, but China is expanding its influence and becoming a formidable competitor.
Maybe influence in terms of making threats, sanctions, and invading countries, but we know who is playing the long game very well.

By imposing the higher tariffs, the US was actually unknowingly reducing the gap. I believe there are now other bigger trade partners with China not so far behind the US, especially from the Asian continent.
The US consumer market is worth around $20trillion/year, accounting for about 1/3 of the global market. EU is $10trillion, while Asia excluding China, is around $9trillion. China has been trying to diversify its market and reduce its dependence on the US consumer market since the first trade war began in 2018. But given the enormous size of US consumer market, it would be very difficult for any other markets to replace it, no matter how much China tries to diversify. That's why I said both side need each other, and neither can completely break free from that dependence.

These wars are going on far too long. Ukraine still happening is an absolute disgrace. Now the US wanting control over the Straight of Hormuz feels like overreaching. I am glad that pipelines are being constructed to alleviate this issue long term, but for now it is a mess and I don't blame the world for being sick of it.
When China is done building goodwill with the world and decides to invade Taiwan, all of this favorable gained ground will be lost. That seems to be the future we're heading towards... Russia, China, and the US taking over strategic assets around the globe.
True, a country can lose its good will very easily when its military power intervenes and becomes tool for achieving strategic goal. China gain support from different countries that are very much tired of Western intervention but that support is not permanent. If China invade Taiwan, then different countries that are currently viewing China as one of favourable countries could reconsider their position and at same time, it is worth remembering that United States, China and Russia all have their own strategic interest. So world is not simply divided between one good side and one bad side; sometimes the smaller countries are often forced to navigate between the powers to protect their own economic and political interest.

Amazing that Mexico and Canada are on that list. We are literally attached to the US yet we trust a country across an ocean more. The entire world is now asking the question "What is a deal from Donald Trump worth"?
The Iran war continues only to enhance the families drone manufacturing business. We need drones now more than ever.

USA went for an aggressive stance towards the world, while China went for a passive-aggressive stance. It makes Chinese leadership looks more friendly than the North American one, what doesn't mean the world is favourable to China, anyway.
It seems the main difference between both is that Trump enjoys the status and fame, besides power and mostly, money. Meanwhile, Xi Jinping doesn't care about the status and fame at all. Chinese modus operandi focuses on being powerful, but in a more discreet way... Doing their schemes and being highly authoritarian on the shadows, far from the spotlights of the media.
We all glaze up China because we don't really know who they are, I think the devil we know is better than the angel we don't, we all focus on the product affordability and other passive features of the Chinese but we don't know there darker side, that was how the English ended up enslaving Africans. I don't want the Chinese to go because they serve as the balance to things but handing them world power is another and plus we all talk like Russia will take that lying down ?

The US and China will continue to be tough competitor in the global economy and of course, a lot of countries are now moving to China unlike when it used to be majorly the US. But I still have a feeling that people see China more like an alternative should the US treat them badly but if we are to read the minds of people, they still accord value and respect to the US because of their strategic impact in global economy over the years. The US only started losing its relevance when they started involving themselves with countries that are experiencing war and they often take sides which makes it difficult for those wars to come to an end. If not for the involvement of the US, some of these wars that is still happening now would have been settled long ago.

I would like to emphasize one common thing about China and the difference from any US products we are seeing from across the world, there is high level of inferiority, substandard and fake quality productions in China items or let me say economical productions they are making, not because they are found with this but they will only attend to every demand based on the capability or their level of affordability for a standard products and this is why you see both fake and original are being produced in China, while you cannot discover such attempt in United States economy because they are only best known for the standard production without inferiority products.
China produces low quality products, but that doesn't mean that their whole manufacturing is inferior. They also produced extremely good quality, sophisticated product for different global brands, including vehicles, machinery and industrial equipments. Sometimes they produce low quality because it is the specifications that they were given by the customers. United States also has product across different prices and quality levels. So we cannot suggest that every American product is automatically high quality. There are different American companies whose products are manufactured in China and other countries with their own quality standards. China has advantage of producing products at different price points at enormous scale.
