Similarities

1) The war is fought with weapons and sanctions.
Bitcoin is a war on bank trust. "Trust the math, not the government".

2) Countries like Iran and Russia use Bitcoin to bypass US dollar sanctions.
Bitcoin acts like a weapon in financial warfare.

Differences

1) War destroys lives, infrastructure and systems.
Bitcoin tries to build a parallel financial system.

2) War end with one side winning or with treaties.
Bitcoin doesn’t end. It keeps getting adopted more.

In my opinion, there is a far greater similarity between Bitcoin and potatoes.  They BOTH grow in cycles!

The difference is.. obviously, the potato is a vegetable and Bitcoin is a currency.

Before the existence of Bitcoin, IRAN has had ways of financing their their activities, so don't make it look like the existence of Bitcoin gave way to Iran bypassing other means in financing their activity. So even if Bitcoin is not there today,  IRAN will still stand strong in their resolve. Bitcoin shouldn't be centered around the war situation between Iran and America this is because, anybody can make use their Bitcoin in whatever means and whatever they want to use it for, Bitcoin gives financial freedom to anybody in the world, and people use it for various purpose. The war will end, and Bitcoin will still continue to exist.

Bitcoin is a war on bank trust. "Trust the math, not the government".
I do not see this to be true. There are banks now that are holding bitcoin for their customers. There are some countries that their banks do not like bitcoin, but this is changing gradually.

The banks thought bitcoin will compete with their businesses, but later they started to understand that bitcoin is just an asset and people see and use it differently kind of, unlike the way they see and use fiat. People see fiat more as a currency, but they see bitcoin more as an asset.

Bank can hold gold and other assets for people, the banks have been realizing that they can also hold bitcoin for people and generate profit from it.

I do agree this because Bitcoin itself is neutral, Bitcoin creation wasn’t against any country under sanctions or banks. Bitcoin comes out to be an open monetary network which allow any user to use without asking anyone for permission.

Using an internet as an example, u can use ur internet for different purpose, so applys to Bitcoin. We shouldn’t be confuse of it original design or purpose

It's pointless comparison.
Because

You compare a thing, an asset, a digital asset with a war.
Why don't compare Bitcoin as an asset with other assets like stocks, real estates, gold, altcoins, it makes more sense as a comparison.
Why don't compare Iran / US war with other wars, it would make more sense.

Even comparing Bitcoin with gold, for example, still has big logic gap because they are classified as different things, and assets.

It isn't pointless as I am comparing the idea not the category. The weird comparison show you the bigger picture. Bitcoin and gold also has a logic gap because of their classes. It doesn't make the comparison useless instead it's making it more interesting.
Concept to concept comparison is equal to good for understanding power. Do you really think that the only valid comparison are with in the same category? Or can cross category comparison teach us something as well?

I actually agree with those who call the comparison base, let me state an example can you compare a sport personality or player to a politician or religious cleric, as to what metrics do you use for that.

Bitcoin and war are never in a category which you can actually try to compare them, this is like saying what’s the comparison between money and war? Does that actually makes any sense to you? The comparison of war is to peace as bitcoin is to anything money or asset.

So yes it’s a useless comparison

You crack me up with this hilarious post and just like PrivacyG said, "there is more connection between Bitcoin and Potatoes" than the idea you are painting here Grin

Bitcoin is not any of the things you mentioned here, it is not a weapon of war but a currency just like fiat but with a little difference. Bitcoin is not fighting with the banks or fiat rather it was created to exit side-by-side with it and give people the freedom to chose which one to use. No doubt Bitcoin is fairer, offer more freedom and a better alternative to fiat from my opinion but this does not mean it was created to completely replace fiat.

If you compare it to gold, it still makes sense, because both Bitcoin and gold share characteristics that make the comparison reasonable. But if you compare it to a category like war, it doesn't make sense, because then people will start making unreasonable comparisons, like comparing Bitcoin to their parents because they both teach the importance of patience in the long run  Roll Eyes
So, it's important to think before creating a thread, don't just copy anything from ChatGPT and then post it here.

But I would throw one more in, wars make enemies, Bitcoin make belonging. All are welcome, whether they are citizen or of another country or opinion. Bypass point for the Iran/Russia sanctions exists, but it is a two way street. Governments have now taken this as an excuse to ask for tougher crypto laws across the world. Thus, in some instances, Bitcoin as a "weapon" may be attracting more pushback than freedom.

Maybe the op is been poetic or better still speaking in riddles that we may not understand, trying to compare Bitcoin with war and  how countries like Russia bypass international sanctions using Bitcoin.

Well it's obvious that the OP is a newbie and has a lot to learn, when it comes to Bitcoin and the way that it works.😁
