I do not use cash out. I do not watch most matches that I bet on. If I watch the matches, I am still not going to cash out. Just bet with the amount of money that you can afford to lose, which is also very little in a way that gambling will not be controlling you, but you controlling gambling. This situation occurs each time the person loses a bet that they have a near win on, and they refer to it as a near miss. If not in proper control, you will be tempted to go try again, as the next hand might appear to have more winning chances, and not playing it might make you feel like you are losing a chance of actually winning and recovering what has been lost; this has trapped many gamblers. and they are finding it hard to get off it.

This is the thinking of gamblers. When they start losing, they think that a big multiplier is very close and continue gambling, and when they win and make a profit, they think that they are very lucky, so they continue gambling and win big multipliers. Gambling is very addictive. Here, even if you win, it is a problem, and even if you lose, it is a problem. In any case, it is not easy to keep yourself in control. However, if someone loses rather than wins, then emotions work much more and it is very difficult to keep yourself in control.

I have known it for long already. That's why if you keep chasing your luck because you have seen chances to keep winning or you believe you are bound to win more, then be careful with that. Actually FOMO which means fear of missing out is always in everything that involves money and emotion, there is always that feeling of being afraid of not missing out, and this is also applicable to Gambling. Well I have come across a thread that talks about auto cashout but the current gambling site I am using does not have that features but I think that auto cashout will be good for a person that has FOMO mindset, it will help to eradicate some emotional swings.

FOMO is a very dangerous fear because it can make you to do many things, if you have the fear of missing out then you are likely going to get into situations that it will become difficult for you to come out of. When you are losing you don't necessary have to change games for you to change your fate because the outcome might likely be the same despite you changing games. The best solution for things like this is to stop gambling at that particular time and you can also take some break to do other things then may be return back to gambling later, if you think changing games is going to make you start winning then you have not learnt your lessons from the mistake that other gamblers make.

I have to agree with you. Using auto-cashout feature would be a lot of help, most especially to those who are betting with high emotions. You can't just let yourself become more greedy while you are winning, that will only make you lose your funds.

Setting your betting limits should also be practiced prior to betting, but others still find it difficult to stick to their limits most especially if they know they still have bigger funds keep in their wallet.

Although its normal for gamblers to bet for potential profits, but what is not normal is when you see yourself chasing for bigger profits simply because you can't afford to miss another luck or fortune in betting. FOMO affects people in many different areas just as you have pointed this one out from gambling. People FOMO for a lot of things that's why we can see people engaging in things like Ponzi Schemes even when they are aware it can cost them the lost of funds but they just want to take it as an opportunity to not miss catching out before it eventually crashes. And now back directly to the topic, if a gambler is experiencing a FOMO when after making their bet then it's no more ordinary but a sign of gambling addiction or using of amount above their risking guage.

AFAIk, I don’t think there’re that many Sportbooks offering the auto-cashout feature, they prefer you to manually stay active till when it shows up so  you can do it manually.

I don’t really use cashout but I know it usefulness and always prefer to cashout an uncertain bet rather than missing it and getting nothing off it.
Unfortunately, I don’t usually stay active checking my bets whenever I place them..

FOMO can keep someone trapped to their gambling apps, especially when they feel that they will miss a big win. When i newly started gambling i used to feel this way, especially when you are in telegram channel or group where they drop daily predictions.

There are times when you would bet even when you don't feel like placing a bet that day, because of fear of miss out (FOMO) and this FOMO had made bettors lose huge amounts of money because you see them staking bets all the time, because they do have this feels that they may miss opportunities of winning big if they skip any of the predictions on the telegram channel or group.
