Unfortunately, Trump's inner circle is full of individuals who effectively exploit their access to state secrets for personal enrichment. But how are they any different from Trump himself? Trump almost openly admits that his family uses inside information for personal gain. And Trump sees no shame in this; he only sees shame in an employee who, at their level, copies his earning style. I believe that if we more actively investigate Trump's inner circle, we could find many more insiders there than we currently have.

I am now interested in finding out the hidden details of such daily bets as the bet on the color of Trump's tie, and especially about the daily bets on whether Trump will offend anyone that day. This is why i recall that how prediction market is being flooded by the insiders. Weird many people are still using this kind of platform while prediction market is full of circus. Even teleprompmter is grifting, which is showing how bad it is from the top until the bottom.

This also confirms that how whitehouse has no ethic standards. If they're claiming to have it, then this is an evidence if it's untrue.

There is no way prediction markets will escape this abuse, it's never going to stop, what I don't understand is these people doing this to the public eye giving prediction markets some bad look, why can't they hire someone to do the prediction for them? Someone in their family or friends at least to get everything swiped under the rug?

On the other hand I can congratulate guy for being creative and finding opportunity to earn from nothing. Who would have though 10-15 years ago that teleprompt text would be used as insiders information. This case tells us how gambling has gone far and developed. This case tells us that a simple teleprompter operator aint a simple guy, because he has managed to do analysis and draw parallel from prices changes and find special words in text on the screen that is teleprompted.

There was a YouTube video and a thread created here in the forum where Prediction market, specifically Polymarket, where they looked for people with insider information and ask them to work or "collaborate" with them to make sure that the majority of the bets in the betting market are as close to the truth as possible.

Apparently, people around Trump decided that if he can make money as president, then so can we.

This wouldn't happen if the platform didn't allow bets on government or politics. If the guy is using insider information they should treat it like the SEC would and send the guy to prison for insider trading basically. Some lesson needs to be taught here.

In this case it seems that it has been Kalshi themselves who have warned about the teleprompter operator's suspicious activity, but the topic itself aims the intrinsic problem to prediction markets we have been discussing lately. Unlike what happens with casinos most of the times, in these markets there is a huge imbalance of information between users and therefore also of the odds of winning.

If those people want to benefits from Trump, they should play smart so the authority might difficult to identify them. They can asking other people to bet for them and giving the close friend the clue.

Having a close circle inside Trump can tempting the greedy people to benefit and make money but the authority can watch them, monitoring what they do and others.

This takes the event out of the realm of mere speculation. I think it’s the same as outright stealing other people’s money. If an athlete isn’t allowed to bet on a game they’re playing in, and there are very strict rules against it, then the same should apply here.

Yes, it is a prohibited activity that is punishable by applicable laws. But many people would not care and they would be ready to take the risk if they can get their hands or ears on inside information. I am sure many of these guys would place these bets by proxy, but investigations can still fill the gaps and link it to them.

As for the prediction markets, they are definitely not going to stop bets on politics and government activities, because it is part of what has made them very popular and generated revenue for their services.

Why? Because he is an officiating agent? Of course there are bettors betting in the same market so why don't they also get the accuse? Or because no one had been able to win in that market before except Trumps tele operator? If yes may be that is where the Suspencious should come from. I don't even know why these officiating agents will keep dragging its reputations to unlawful events like this about betting.

Why don't they just give the game to their relatives to play for them just to stay anonymous and avoid all the dragging of reputations. Or are they just playing these as games to entertain the industry?
I guess this was not the first time the operator is betting in the market, so why have the company not dragged him for cheating? The betting companies will always fear to loose big against bettors.

That's right, so it's not strange that things related to prediction markets are easily manipulated by insiders or people who are nearby there must be accurate info than ordinary people who do it by just guessing.
Believe it or not that maybe behind it is more structured than we think it is today, it could have created a network to take advantage of the prediction market, who knows about it, many ways to do it.

This is the reason why some one proposed that the prediction market should stop adding events that can be easily knows and taken advantage of through insider information, exactly what this case might be if he is proven guilty after investigation but I have no doubt that this allegation could actually be true. From my noticed I was thinking those who are closer to the president or works in government offices are not permitted to gamble hence, such bet should be seen as void since he is an insider. Instead, if he really wants to make money then they can give such information to their close relatives or friends where they wouldn't in any have such knowledge about them having to pass the information to their close friends to place bet on their behalf.

It's completely to be expected when this is the most corrupt administration that America has ever seen. To borrow a Chinese saying: the fish rots from the head. With the amount of dodgy dealing that Trump has been allowed to do and given a pass on by other Republican politicians, why wouldn't anyone around him think it's completely acceptable? I guess the only stupid part is being small enough that when you're caught you don't have the money or influence to buy your way out of it. Naturally Trump would want to get rid of you too, because he has enough bad news floating around him and isn't going to take any kind of hit for one of his servants, while also making a nice mini distraction for his endless stream of goofs.
