Everyone is taking their own share from the prediction market using whatever information they have their hand on to make money; it’s like extra pay for them. There is a saying in my locale, "Everybody nah saint, but nah who dem catch be sinner," meaning everyone appears innocent; it’s the person that gets caught that appears as a bad person. We should not be surprised if some of Trump's family members are also taking advantage of this trend on the prediction market. Insider trading is so popular now.

Let’s be honest-most politicians, if not all, use their positions to enrich themselves; that’s a fact. But Trump is operating outside the law!
If you didn’t know, insider trading,or using non-public information for personal gain,is prohibited by law in the U.S. and is a crime. And this decision by Trump is, in essence, an attempt to hide an insider sale behind the "smokescreen" of a perfectly legal subscription sale!

By the way, here’s some great news: Federal Judge Kathleen Williams (U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida) has annulled the controversial deal struck between the Donald Trump administration and the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This agreement not only granted Trump immunity from tax audits but also provided for the creation of a fund totaling nearly $1.8 billion for his supporters who claimed to be victims of "political persecution".

I agree, but these politicians do this within a more legal framework. for example, it could be through government contracts with companies in which they are owners or major shareholders. in Trump's case, this is blatant insider trading and I'm sure he'll say he sees nothing wrong with it. it seems to me that this unfortunate operator was caught with a small sum by US standards while his inner circle is making hundreds of millions of dollars from Trump's information.

as for the judges' decisions, I'm not sure Trump will suffer during his presidency and after his term ends, he'll simply sign an executive order preemptively pardoning himself and his family members as Biden did.

at least for now Trump has practically managed to ignore the law and has established a de facto monopoly on decision-making. perhaps the situation will change somewhat in November but for now he's in charge. I wonder if prediction market platforms will take bets on whether Trump will be jailed? )

I think they would not be able to find a loophole to legalize inside trading. The framework and laws in the United States is quite rigurous when comes to market manipulation and there are also several precedents for people who had tried to take advantage of their privileged information and they had still faced justice and got imprisoned.
Even if the Trump administration tried to get it changed, it would need support from both of the chambers on the American Government, it would take several votes in favor to separate cases like this one from inside trading within Wall Street.

You are probably right, but to be honest, with how Trump's government are operating right now, anything is possible if it will benefit them. Just look at how Trump found a loophole about his stock trading, I mean, according to what I've seen and read online, he has made a lot of stock trades before announcing something that would positively affect whatever stock he bought. If you ask me, I'd consider that insider trading, it may not be legally called that, but personally I think it is.

Maybe when Trump called this situation a disgrace, he was referring to the fact that the teleprompter operator earned so little, by Trump’s standards, from this insider deal?
As for Trump himself, yes, he clearly loves to abuse his position and profit from it. Just look at his meme token, which is, in fact, nothing more than a rug pull token. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if, once Trump leaves the White House, he and his inner circle are held accountable for financial manipulation.

It looks like he’s in a tight spot if he loses the mid-terms, and the polls suggest as much. He said it himself: if the Republicans lost them, the Democrats would impeach him. Everything about this bloke is a joke. It’s clear he went to the Bitcoin Conference to attract votes from bitcoiners, and although he has done something – favourable legislation – other things like the strategic reserve have come to nothing (in theory they’ve set one up with the bitcoins they already had, but they haven’t bought a single bitcoin using those ‘budget-neutral’ methods they talked about). Not to mention the shitcoins $TRUMP and $MELANIA, which were nothing more than a tasteless joke that helped him make money.

That’s why things like this teleprompter issue don’t surprise me.
