Is Key-Elf legit? Raw data searching for deleted key info.

Hi wondering is the Key-Elf tool is legit? I downloaded the file from soundforge but it was just text. No program I have long since deleted my wallet.dat but still have the hard drives it was originally on -one is mac ssd and overwritten, one was non working sata that was sent to data recovery and they put the contents on a new hard drive.
Basically I never broadcasted the original transaction for a legacy wallet so the original key might be in the raw data from the wallet that was deleted. Little chance for recovery but would still try if a program can pull random Hexi from my data that I can check as keys against Bitcoin.org. .
Also I’m pretty basic knowledge with computers I used all the popular scan deleted files software offline and nothing came back like wallet dat. I’m using a Mac currently and not even familiar with running terminal commands etc but can learn.
Anyway is Elf- key a phishing or scam site?
Any programs that can find hex or keys from data?

I don't know about the platform Key-Elf, but this is something you can easily search online to know about public opinions concerning the platform before you can even go ahead with anything with them.

I also detest the use of any thought party services or platforms in helping with any form of recovery service for our assets, from research, I'm being made to know that all the services are fake and we only incur more than the solution they are meant to provide, I expect that you must have taken a thorough search about this platform before making use of them.

Nobody is going to know what site or service you are talking about unless you link it here. So please do that first so that we can give you a better answer, because honestly I don't know what the heck that is.

Why not just use PyWallet by jacjack? https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet

Or even a hex editor if it's a simple, non-encrypted wallet file
