Honestly i think it depends on adoption.The tech behind BTC is solid,but for it to still be around for my kids and grandkids,people actually have to use it .Not just hold it.if lightning and wallets gets easier, and more countries/companieskeep using it, then yeah it can last. if not, something better might replace it down the line

Yes, it depends on the ease of use, and of course, when access issues arise, it might be a little different from managing fiat money, especially when using banking transaction apps. At least users still have a solution if they forget their password to regain access to their accounts.
With BTC, Private Keys are something that needs to be taken care of to ensure security and prevent asset loss. As society wants it to be like that, I mean the steps are made like a banking model.
