What happened:: - Made a new account on Bitz.io Jul 17, deposited and made a parlay bet on two sport events that were taking place 8 hours later that day.
- The matches took place normally and ended up resolving favorably for me, which granted me a winning bet by their own system.
- Jul 18 (today as of writing this) I login and notice that my balance is the same as I deposited, and there has been a withdrawal of exactly my winnings. Note I literally could not withdraw money as I had not completed the wager requirement, so the withdrawal was done by the system.
- I contact support and they tell me my "winnings have been forfeited due to a breach of the fair play rules". I asked for clarification and they were unable to tell me any single rule I broke and refused to elaborate further. They did end up allowing me to withdraw my original deposit, but have decided to keep my winnings.
I have never had an account on Bitz.io before this one (found the website on the forum Jul 17). The matches I bet on took place normally. The odds they offered were inline with other bookies I tend to use so no mistakes there. I literally cannot understand a single rule I broke. To me this looks like they are literally robbing players if they win, and keeping the money if they lose. After reviewing another similar thread to this it seems it is not the first time they have done this, this thread is a solid example:
