Were was God living before creating the heaven and earth

The Holy spirit was there to document everything and it was still the Holy spirit that revealed it to man what was written in the word of God. This was why God sent the Holy Spirit on Pentecost day to be man comforter and teacher of the word of cup.

So who was all this information revealed to? Was it Adam? Abraham, Noah?

You do realise that even to this date people come up with all sorts of "revelations" and "prophecies" and make claims that God spoke to them through dreams. We all do have dreams. we all do hallucinate at one point. I can't rule out all that 

It was revealed to the disciples of God John, Matthew, Mark and Luke and his apostles Paul, Solomon and David his father e.t.c that wrote the Bible with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Yea, it's not everyone that is a true servant of God. Some are just saying it in order to extort people but the real disciples of God cannot mislead the Christian community which Jesus Christ handed over to them before ascending into heaven.

Is like someone living in a particular building and decide to build a new one for himself or renovates the old one. God must certainly have somewhere staying before creating the heaven.

There are certain things that if you keep emagining it, you might get mad or confused because such question has no specific answers. God is God and he alone knows where he dwells before creating the heaven and the earth. I might not be too sure but according to Enoch who had encounter with God in heaven, he explains that there are many existing heavenly realms that existed before the creation of earth. So basically the throne of God has existed long time before God decided to creat man and gave him a planet called Earth reside.  earth is the last creation of God. Because Angels was created before man by the words of his mouth, and all this where not on earth but in the heavens. And meanwhile heavenly realms has stages by stages which are first to 10th heavens according to Enoch, and all represent different things that glorified God. So earth was never the first, His and the 24 elders have existed together with the cherobim and the seraphim and other celestial beings. Infact it's more of spiritual than you think.

OP asked a rheotrical question. None of us have answers to this because we were not there so we can't comment anything about that but we can contribute with our own initiatives. God is who he says he is and have always had the best interest of man at heart. Remember he created Man in his own image and likeness and put everything under the command of Man, that alone will portray that God made man his favorite creature here on earth.

God exists, none of us have a clue about where he stayed before. Do you know some questions doesn't require or don't have a answer, I'm just trying to figure out the imagination of this question. God exists before still beats the figment of my imagination till today. What more can we do other than settling and doing God's work here on earth.

Well this is a good one, I can't honestly say God was here or there before creation of everything, even in the Bible I'm sure there isn't a place or scripture that said God was in a particular place before creating the heavens and earth, non that I can remember. If we start asking this kind of questions more would keep coming like who told us that there was a creation of the heavens and the earth? These are some of the questions we have been ignoring for years like this one OP asked and what I asked too, for me God has been THERE, just THERE...no name where God was before he started creation of everything starting from the creation of the heavens and earth. This particular topic is too deep.

We should never think of God as like us. God is different from everything. You cannot create anythings sitting inside a it . Before creating anything, you must be outside of them and after that you can create its existence by making a new  invention . Everything that scientists have discovered so far in the entire universe is created by God and God is outside of all these things. And this period before or after anything, this time that is constantly moving forward, every minute every second moving forward from where it is not possible to go back to the past, this time moving forward is also created by God. Since everything related to time such as the past, present and future is created by God, so God is outside the rules of time. God is above everything that is discovered in our universe. In all the replies,no one has been able to tell me were God was living before creating the heaven and earth. Evening the disciples were not privilege to know that. Even those that wrote the bible cannot a certain for a fact that this was were God leaves before creating the heaven and earth. We were told to just believe what ever the preacher man told us about God. No questions should be ask because the man on the pulpit is seen as one man God called to preach but the fact is none of them know were God leaves. What do you hope to achieve by asking about where God was before creating the heaven and the earth when you already know that nobody can tell you where God was before the creation of anything. I believe that it is only God Himself that can give an accurate answer to such a question, it's like asking who created God or how he came to being, they are mysteries that no human being will ever know so there is no need disturbing yourself about what is beyond human comprehension, someone can go crazy trying to find figure out such things. According to the Bible it says that God lives in heaven and He is everywhere, that is as far as we're told and we should accept it or leave it, there are too many mysteries that are better left the way they are, no need to ponder them because it'll be a waste of time.

This is correct,  any religions that want to go to heaven to see God is waiting his time and energy,  because no man will ever see God, base of the Bible. God is not in heaven, where ever he was when he created heaven and earth that's where he is till date, he is unchangeable God.

There is more to do on earth for us to worry about heaven and Where God lives,  is not of our business,  he's the alpha and omega,  we are his products, we should be happy we're created with perfection,  God is the greatest no matter what you do, don't leave God.

God is omnipotent, things about him can't be comprehend by humans, and where the knowledge of man stopped that's where his own knowledge starts.

I was meant to understand as a Christian that it was in the seventh heaven that God dwells and everything fall beneath him. And before creation no place was mentioned where God is because there's no physical universe or resting ground known. All was made known after creation was made.

The point is God is everywhere  at the same time. His glory covers all as the Bible verse of 1 Kings 8:27 says heaven can't  contain God

And for your information the holy book never told us whether God was living somewhere else before he created the heaven and the earth, the holy book only told us that, and I quote in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and the Earth was filled with darkness and God said let there be light and that was light, you can find this portion of the holy book in Genesis 1:1.

Therefore, no Christian can provide you with the answer you seek, all I can say is that repent and get baptize and see if you can make it to heaven so that you can ask God yourself.

The question is really interesting because we humans are naturally trying to understand everything based on our own experience. For us, if someone is exiting it must be somewhere, so it's normal to ask where God was before he created heaven and the earth. But from the perspective of a Christian, God is not part of the created universe, so the idea of where he lived may not apply the same way it applies to humans.
 
The concept itself is very hard for humans to fully understand because we're used to everything having a beginning and an ending. For me, I feel that questions like this show how limited our understanding of existence is, and that is why people do interpret it differently based on belief and faith.

Many people used to ask this question for long term just to figure out where God was before creating the universe, but religions like Islam and Christianity has said something that God has beyond to reside on earth rather above the universe. According to the Qur'an God is everywhere with his knowledge because he's the creator and he doesn't need to depends on his creation. If all human beings can actually believe that our sense exist even though we cannot see it or know where it located, then in my opinion that's perfect example for us to believe that God exists and doesn't need to depends on anything.

Besides, the place God lives is so different than anything that we know, that the word 'wHere' is a complete misnomer. God's abode before Creation is something that we can't even think about. It isn't eve a where. It's way different than anything we can describe or talk about or imagine. So, it might totally make sense to say "Were was God living..."

Honestly, well, I might not be on point with what the OP of the thread was trying to get from this heavy information… but I think he was not trying to mock Christianity I feel that it was not his intention at all, at first it really sounded like he was but I think curiosity was what was making him ask such a kind of question…

Which said in the beginning God made Creations of the heavens and the earth which were full of darkness down to the surface of the deep, which still it did not point out where God lived, Well the full gist is that for a lot of Christians like you and me would want to answer OP that God is eternal which he has no beginning and isn’t bound by time or space the way we are…

It is basically natural question because we as human tend to imagine that there is like a space where the God lives before He created the universe.
In my faith as a Catholic, the church teaches that God himself is not bound by space and time, He is not physical and does not occupy space like created objects.
The consequence of Genesis 1:1 is that there is nothing before the creation except God himself, no space, no time, nothing...
So the question where the God live before He create heaven and earth is not a question that can be answered like where we ask about specific location like "he is at the coffee shop"
