Trading isn’t always a bad thing either if the goal is to buy back Bitcoin in a different quantity at a lower price—and there’s no denying that some people do exactly that at certain times.
Whether trading is good or bad is your personal decision. But while trading, planning to buy back Bitcoin at a lower price after selling it is not that easy. Because today, someone may have sold some Bitcoin at a high price for a profit and thought that if the price drops, they will buy more. But if the price increases after their sale, they will have to buy Bitcoin at a higher price or wait a long time or hope for a market decline to prove their previous wrong decision. Although it is not guaranteed that the price will fall even lower than the price at which they sold it. Then, in fact, their long-term accumulation becomes dependent on market speculation.

My personal opinion is that as an investor, the main goal should be to gradually increase the amount of Bitcoin they own and create a position where short-term movements cannot change our decisions.

It is said that it is not a good idea to learn about wallets or rush to choose a wallet before starting investing. Wallets are a technical matter and a small mistake can lead to the loss of all your assets. Therefore, it is not a good idea to never choose a wallet before starting investing or wait to start investing to gain knowledge.

You can keep your holdings or assets in the exchanger at the beginning and over time, you can choose a wallet by gaining all the knowledge related to the wallet and the things that are involved. If the person whose Bitcoin was stolen had knowledge about the wallet, he would never have considered Bitcoin to be guilty of it and still, he would have been encouraged to invest.
I don't think you are correct about not having knowledge of wallets as a beginner. Yes, you don't need to have that technical knowledge of wallets to invest in Bitcoin, but at least one should have the understanding that a non-custodial wallet is the best option for holding Bitcoin, rather than holding Bitcoin on an exchange.
As a beginner, having an understanding of wallet security is very important; this is not something to ignore or to think it can be learned at any time. If you don't understand wallets, security can be easily compromised. And if you choose an exchange over a non-custodial wallet, anything can happen; you can't even tell how reputable or secure the exchange you choose for holding is. Basic knowledge of wallets is important, and it is not complex or too difficult for one to learn.

Hold for a while in exchanges? No dear that's not advisable, you buy and transfer immediately to a safe wallet, you're not trading bht intentions of buying is to hold for long term so what's the neee of holding for a while in the exchange? You can only hold there if your intentions is to trade with it.

People have their different reasons for choosing Bitcoin which is not basically about profits, moreover you don't expect what's not guaranteed but invest and believe that the investment would bring good result in the future. Infact profit shouldn't come first or in between bht last which is after years of accumulation.
It might not look like something that's realistic to you but that doesn't mean that there aren't others who are doing it, you need to know that moving bitcoin around costs quite a lot and for some people that transaction fee is too much for them to be paying on a weekly basis if they are buying bitcoin weekly.
In a situation like this one, the investor can decide to move their bitcoin to a secured wallet once a month, but if they still buy weekly then their assets will have to sit somewhere for around that time period before they can be moved to a secure wallet and using an exchange is the most likely, they are buying the bitcoin from those same exchanges after all.
You shouldn't just discredit someone elses ideas, they are trying to cut down on how much money they lose when then move their bitcoin and if delaying moving their bitcoin to a secured wallet is the best way for them to do this then they will do it.

There are many people who transfer their holdings to their wallets once a month or once every two weeks to reduce their free. However, you need to choose a reliable and trustworthy exchange so that you never get scammed. One of the biggest reasons for doing this is to reduce the free amount, many people buy weekly because if a person buys weekly, he is able to buy a higher average purchase price than the monthly average purchase price. However, just because a person is keeping his holdings on an exchange does not mean that he is trading or has trading skills. In some cases, some tricks, along with some, have to be taken.

I don't think you are understanding why he said that, because the truth is that, you cannot be transferring every $10-20 or even $50 worth of Bitcoin to an exchange because the fee will be too much, and you will be at the losing end, so the wise thing is to buy and accumulate it there, until it has grown and is worth more than $200, that way you wouldn't be paying fees every now and then.

So it's not a bad idea to keep the little unit of Bitcoin bought in an exchange until it has grown to something reasonable before you moves it to a more secured self custodian wallet.
I am currently using only Trust Wallet as my wallet because, first of all, it is a multi-coin wallet that supports any coin. It seems very safe to me, and as an exchange, I use Binance, OKX, and ByBit. I usually transfer $15- $20 worth of BTC from Trust Wallet to Binance. It is very surprising that I only pay $0.10-15 cents in transaction fees. I don't know about BTC transaction fees in other wallets, but Trust Wallet does BTC transactions at very low fees. If it is an amount like $200, $400, or $600, it can be kept in a reputable exchange, but if it is a large amount like $1000, I do not recommend holding it in an exchange because exchanges are never 100% safe. We know that control of our assets on the exchange is in the hands of the exchange's owner.

Not all investor can afford to move their bought Bitcoins in regular basis. The transaction fees adds up the cost and repeatedly paying fees especially for those small investors does not make any sense.

In cases like this holding for awhile on exchange for few weeks or once their target hit is practical option they could to to reduce fees that they are paying. This is fine as long as they aim to transfer their bought funds in their self custody wallet once they hit their threshold. Majority of those or we are buying on exchange to have Bitcoin, so that action they have done is really fine.

Each investor have different approach, strategy and intended budget. So with the important part to consider is their aim or intention to hold Bitcoin for long term.
