I have been thinking lately about how investing in bitcoin is actually a great idea but also it can be really hard to make profit off bitcoin if you're a small Investor
Imagine this:
If bitcoin is at $64k and me as a small investor bought with $1k, for me to make 100% profit bitcoin will have to hit $128k, that is still feasible
But if I'm hoping to make a 200% profit on my investment bitcoin price will have to get to $256k, how achievable is that ? And if it's achievable how long is it going to take

Which brings me back to my question
Can small investors actually make good profit with bitcoin?

Or are there other ways to make money with bitcoin as a small investor rather than just buy and hold?

Having the mindset of making 💯 interests of what you invest is wrong in the first place because no one determines the events of Bitcoin to is $64k is eventually going to either continue with the dip or upward movement but here's the thing if you invest with small money the following is considered;
1. The duration of your investment. How long will I allow this investment
2. What if still going against me?
3. Don't think about profits alone, what about the risk involved
4. Investment is not done for 100% interests expectations but increase above the capital invested
5. Be ready to loss everything as well, in case life affects you or investment

That's my takes but every small capital requires patience for growth and expansion

There are other ways that you can make money, but they are very risky. My advise is that you should just hold your coins. It is easy, not time demanding and the profit is guaranteed than other means. Bitcoin is not at its early stage anymore which makes its price not volatile as it was before.
Totally agree with this point. A lot of small investors enter crypto expecting 10x or 20x gains in a few months like it used to happen back then, but BTC maturity means lower volatility now.

If someone has a small capital, chasing high yield through altcoins or leverage trading usually ends up wiping their portfolio anyway. Holding BTC patiently and doing DCA seems like the only realistic strategy to build real equity over time without taking unnecessary gambles.

DYOR, there is four years cycle for a reason, look at the past history of Bitcoin to have some ideas about how long it can take for Bitcoin to reach a new all time high, most of the times it's two to three years after a bear market, that's a very long time for people who want to make quick gains from their investments, so therefore I will say that Bitcoin is not a investment for anyone looking for make money very fast, this long term plat has it's advantages too, there is along period of time to keep using DCA strategy to invest in Bitcoin, even if what you can afford every time is small money it will become effective as time goes on.

The nature of believe I have on Bitcoin investment,I don't consider a consistent and investor full of patience as small investor because it's the key that usher the profit, any investor that have this quality of been consistent and and patient could even make better outcome with a good number of years what many who heavily invested but lack this character of patients could get. Occasionally the outcome of profit making in Bitcoin investment depends on investor, the nature of panic some sees when the market is going contrary leading them to pull out some smaller investor Will continue as a result of that makes more profit at the end as much will be accumulated than expected.

Buying consistently has the tendency to develop into something very big in the future, that's why people who don't have big discretionary income to invest are advised to be consistent with the small amount they have then have hope that Bitcoin would continue to improve and with that, the consistent those small investors buy, the more the possibility of getting bigger reward in the future.
With that being said, I hope you now understand that they're called small investors due to the amount of capital they can put their Bitcoin investment at a particular time, even though what they put have the potential of growing bigger in the long run, so far they invest little capital, they're small investors.

Yes small investors can make good profits from bitcoin. If they are patient and consistent. The investment does not have to be a large amount. But if invested regularly over a long period of time. This can grow to a big sum. Many investors may have failed due to panic selling. And disciplined investors will still be buying and holding. Bitcoin is more about a long term attitude than the amount of money you can put in initially. A regular investor with a long term strategy and who doesn't make emotional. Investments has a greater chance of success than a big investor who does.

I think small investors can actually make profits from investing in bitcoin, but profit is something that isn’t guaranteed when investing in bitcoin, however if you have a good approach with your bitcoin investment and you’re investing for the long term, you can have a chance of having some profits, I don’t know if you will have a good amount of bitcoin it all depends on the amount you’re buying, which I think you have to be consistent with your investment, there is bull and bear season, so when the bear season comes with your small amount of accumulation, then you have to stay consistent and keep buying, like they say patience is a virtue, so you have to be patience as a small investor to keep having a chance of profits.

Your focus shouldn't be to sell early if you do this you are not an investor but a trader. Bitcoin investment doesn't mean you must start with big money you can be buying with small amount of money and do it consistently for a long time maybe 5 to 10 years you will accumulate large numbers of bitcoin, so to answer your question small investor who has accumulated bitcoin for long is likely to be profitable in a long run but note that profit isn't also guarantee in bitcoin investment.
